The Madlanga Commission has heard allegations that the head of the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC), Advocate Andrea Johnson, asked former journalist and now AfriForum spokesperson Barry Bateman to source a document relating to a criminal complaint against suspended Deputy Crime Intelligence head, Major General Feroz Khan. The complaint stemmed from a case of common assault and intimidation opened by Crime Intelligence officer Brigadier Phetle, who allegedly accused Khan of assaulting her with a pen. Retired Colonel Kobus Roelofse, formerly attached to the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI/Hawks), told the Commission that Khan received the contents of the criminal docket despite being the suspect and therefore not being entitled to access it.

Police Major-General Feroz Khan's urgent High Court application against the police will be heard in Johannesburg today. Khan alleges officers abused a J50 arrest warrant to enter his Houghton home, citing changing reasons from defeating justice to a suspected drug search. No drugs were found, but police seized six cellphones, an iPad, a recording device and his firearm. He argues the devices were not covered by the warrant and is asking for them to be returned. We spoke to Legal expert, Mpumelelo Zikalala.

Im Gespräch mit Maximilian Tichy berichtet der Influencer Feroz Khan (achse:ostwest) über seine Teilnahme am umstrittenen „Prozess gegen Deutschland“ im Hamburger Thalia Theater. Khan, studierter Eisenbahningenieur und heute vor allem durch seine politischen Formate auf YouTube, TikTok und Instagram bekannt, schildert seine Eindrücke von der Veranstaltung, die als szenischer Gerichtsprozess inszeniert wurde – mit der AfD im Zentrum der Anklage. Denn Khan war als Zeuge geladen und einer der wenigen, die ein positives Bild der AfD transportierten. Dabei wurde er von der angeblichen Anklage persönlich angegangen, die ihm sagte: „Was Sie hier sagen, ist, mit Verlaub, kompletter Bullshit“; doch nicht die Anklägerin wurde für ihre Wortwahl zurechtgewiesen, sondern Khan. Er solle „respektvoll gegenüber Frauen“ bleiben, so Herta Däubler-Gmelin (ehem. Bundesjustizministerin, SPD), die in diesem Theaterstück die Rolle der Richterin spielte.

Juan es un director, guionista y escritor español. Ha dirigido películas como Chuecatown, triunfadora del festival internacional FilmOut San Diego 2008, y cortometrajes como Hábitos, por el que fue nominado a los premios Goya en 1996. Nació en Burgos, pero creció en Bilbao, donde estudió Bellas Artes, trabajó como actor de doblaje en la empresa K2000 y participó en un concurso de guiones que ganó con la serie Dúplex. Tras ello se trasladó a Madrid donde empezó a trabajar de guionista en multitud de series de televisión. Entre 2003 y 2006 fue promotor de la fiesta En Plan Travesti, un referente cultural y social de la noche madrileña. Formó el dúo cómico musical Las Juanettes, que lo llevó a convertiste en un ídolo de los club nocturnos españoles. Ha publicado dos novelas y un relato autobiográfico en la antología del travestismo español Travestiario. Actualmente compagina su trabajo como guionista (fue nominado para los premios Feroz por su trabajo en la seria de HBOMax Furia) y su podcast llamado Amargor, que el mismo define como “un sitio donde encontraréis quejas, amarguras, penurias, frustraciones y hartazgos variados, pero con un poco de método, con análisis atinadísimos, mucha tranquilidad y algo de ASMR”. Ángeles González Sinde se detiene en Arco, la película de animación europea con un recorrido muy interesante por premios y festivales y que apuesta más por las emociones que la aventura y nuestros pequeños críticos nos comentan El secreto del Herrerillo, la encantadora ópera prima de Antoine Lanciaux. New Zealand Fashion Week is headed down south. A bespoke version of the event is headed to Christchurch this Spring, a three-year partnership bringing Fashion Week to the South Island. It'll be held in November and feature designers from all across the country, but with a focus on Christchurch-based creatives. NZFW Owner Feroz Ali told Mike Hosking it shouldn't bleed any support from the Auckland event, with this being an entirely new event that will make NZ Fashion week financially stable and sustainable in the long term. Feroz 1) Endemoniados: Puede que tu vida se convierta en un infierno, y tu misma vida genere un infierno en los demás. Cuando empiezas a autodestruirte y ya no encuentras paz en tu corazón, en vez de trabajar por recobrarla, puede que empieces a tratar de ensuciar a los que están a tu alrededor. Es importante que hagas una búsqueda interior de vos y puedas mirarte a vos, porque no sea que por no mirarte caigas en un infierno. Date el tiempo de mirarte y enfrentarte, no te autoflageles y mucho menos te mientas. Para vencerte a vos mismo tienes que trabajar a vos mismo. 2) Sepulcro: Puede que tu vida se haya convertido en cementerio, en donde vivís del recuerdo y constantemente traes cosas del pasado. Tu vida no puede girar todo el tiempo en torno a lo pasado, hace años o décadas, no puede ser que sigas buscando avivar cosas que ya están muertas. Ya dale sepultura y salí de ese ámbito que es solo girar en recuerdos o en pasados que solo marcaron lindos momentos. 3) Fueran: Cuando uno dice las cosas puede que ya no tenga muchos seguidores o amigos. Porque la verdad muchas veces duele o molesta. Hace unos días me tocó decirle de manera real lo que sucedía en su vida a una amiga y sé que le dolió, pero no podía alimentar la mentira que ella misma se creó y en la que vivía, me dejó de hablar y hasta me bloqueó. Pero prefiero tener la conciencia tranquila que pude decirle que esa no era la realidad a estar todo el día alimentando o siendo partícipe de una mentira. Algo bueno está por venir.
