You have probably made a poor decision if you hear the words, "You have the right to remain silent." It would be wise to make use of that right, but is there ever a time it is good to forgo your rights? If it means not putting an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ, yes! Listen to Pastor Brett's sermon on 1 Corinthians 9:1-14 for more.

When Danellia Arechiga became a gestational surrogate, she felt strongly about having an unmedicated birth at a birth center. Even as her labor plan derailed into an induction, she pushed for few interventions and worked with her physiology, ultimately experiencing the elusive Fetal Ejection Reflex. She tells Adriana Lozada why doing so was important for her, the baby, and the intended parents. As a musician, Danellia (Dané Reál) has created the song Mother as an anthem gifted to those whose relationships with their mothers have not always been warm and loving. The song is her contribution to the intergenerational healing she has done within her own lineage and features the voices of her grandmother Lucy who passed in 2018 and her daughter as they share their journey through healing the mother wound that has been passed on for 4 generations. Don't wait for tomorrow to create a better future. The future you desire to live starts today. The purpose you pray to live out and have clarity on, starts with cleaning up your life today. Behavioural social psychologist Jordan Peterson says "Forgo todays pleasures for tomorrows advantage" Stop waiting for the permission of someone else to tell you its your time or you can. This is the episode that you didn't realize you've been praying for. It will light your soul on fire and deepen your conviction to go out and serve through Christ! Scripture: 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 2 Peter 1:4-9 By which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ... Have you joined the Anxious Free Mama's! Today's Topics: 1) Gospel - Mk 11:11-26 - Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple area. He looked around at everything and, since it was already late, went out to Bethany with the Twelve. The next day as they were leaving Bethany He was hungry. Seeing from a distance a fig tree in leaf, He went over to see if He could find anything on it. When He reached it He found nothing but leaves; it was not the time for figs. And He said to it in reply, “May no one ever eat of your fruit again!” And His disciples heard it. They came to Jerusalem, and on entering the temple area He began to drive out those selling and buying there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves. He did not permit anyone to carry anything through the temple area. Then He taught them saying, “Is it not written: My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples? But you have made it a den of thieves.” The chief priests and the scribes came to hear of it and were seeking a way to put Him to death, yet they feared Him because the whole crowd was astonished at His teaching. When evening came, they went out of the city. Early in the morning, as they were walking along, they saw the fig tree withered to its roots. Peter remembered and said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that You cursed has withered.” Jesus said to them in reply, “Have faith in God. Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it shall be done for him. Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours. When you stand to pray, forgive anyone against whom you have a grievance, so that your heavenly Father may in turn forgive you your transgressions.” Bishop Sheen quote of the day 2) Newark Cardinal urges the faithful to forgo Second Amendment rights https://www.breitbart.com/faith/2023/06/01/newark-cardinal-urges-faithful-forgo-2nd-amendment-rights/ 3, 4) A warning to the Church in America https://www.scottlively.net/2013/06/23/a-warning-to-the-church-in-america/

Sure, you have a non-native invasive species, a beautiful plant, by the way, in a container on your back patio. There's no way it will wind up in a wild space, choking out native plants, depleting the local ecosystem, starving the pollinators. No way. Right? Wrong. Barbara J. Sullivan, who once was a traditional, English garden enthusiast, keeping things clipped, raked, and tucked, took her time accepting some of these ideas. She also implemented them in stages. As she explains, once you understand your private green space as part of an inseparable whole, you will never see it the same way again.

In light of the swings in today's market environment, investors are shifting their asset allocation decisions to accommodate its volatility. As they grapple with what the options are, we look to growth stocks, which we believe have the potential to outperform the overall market over time though may require a higher risk tolerance. What could be the opportunity set here in what some would call a risk-off environment? And how might investors address the concept of FOMO, or fear of missing out, when it comes to investing in growth companies? In this episode of Disruptive Forces, Jason Tauber, Portfolio Manager of growth equity strategies, sits down with Anu Rajakumar to explains his views on how the growth sector, despite today's volatile market backdrop, may still have its time to shine down the line. In this episode, I demolish core arguments underlying Paul Saladino's belief system.Summing up his argument:Plants contain compounds that produce some benefits. However, they have some downsides as well. Therefore, get nutrition from animal foods that do not have these downsides and obtain health benefits from heat, sauna, cold, exercise, sunlight, fasting. Forgo eating plants. This argument is fallacious for two main reasons:1. Plant food toxicity is dose-dependent. The body maintains homeostasis in response to small perturbations.2. All modalities recommended by Paul also have potential downsides.a. Animal foods. Birth defects due to vitamin A (PMIDs 7477116, 22516730), copper toxicity (PMID 31832729), iron toxicity (PMID 8943168), excess B vitamins (PMIDs 16531613, 16531614), and the heart disease-promoting properties of saturated fat (PMID 28444290).b. Animals housed at higher temperatures have a shortened livespan (PMID 35288719).c. Overexpression of heat shock proteins in rats reduce lifespan (PMID 19072255). Sauna undermines male fertility (PMID 23411620).d. Cold exposure does not reduce inflammatory markers (PMID 27991663). And it increases heart attack risk (PMID 1483767).e. Excess body size due to exercise can cause cardiomegaly (PMID 31287235). There are other health risks from excessive exercise.f. Sunlight poses risks of both cancer and accelerated skin aging. Sunlight is a risk factor for skin cancer (PMID 28478931).g. Fasting increases anger (PMID 28025637), and impairs cognition (PMID 24583414).All modalities that improve health have downsides. These downsides are dose-dependent. Health experts advocate for a balanced diet and lifestyle.Do not be fearmongered into one way of thinking—and especially if this means buying someone's supplement line.===Like, comment, subscribe. For more, find me at:PODCAST The Kevin Bass ShowYOUTUBE https://www.youtube.com/user/kbassphiladelphiaWEBSITE http://thedietwars.comTWITTER https://twitter.com/kevinnbass/https://twitter.com/healthmisinfo/INSTAGRAM https://instagram.com/kevinnbass/TIKTOK https://tiktok.com/@kevinnbassAnd above all, please donate to support what I do:PATREON https://patreon.com/kevinnbass/DONATE https://thedietwars.com/support-me/

That sounds wise as we hear Proverbs repeatedly call us to listen to wise counselors. Yet do we have a posture like that, that seeks counsel? Listen to Pastor Haakon's exhortation for more.

Dr. Oz, a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, joined Rich to discuss how he would handle the Ukraine crisis if he were a member of Congress today when Ukraine President Zolenskyy speaks to Congress. He clarified a recent report that he would give up his security clearances as a Senator to stay a dual-citizen to Turkey as completely false news and an unnecessary question about him. Many people complain about their circumstances...why is that? Bad stuff happens to everyone, but your quality of life isn't about what happens to you.
