OM.V 4 Aug 2022, 08:19 Osisko Metals Reports First Infill Drill Results at Gaspé Copper Highlights include: Of the sixteen drill holes reported below, fourteen extended disseminated/stockwork copper-silver mineralization outside the current pit-constrained resource model, including up to 170 metres in drill hole 30-0991 below the currently designed pit floor. All fourteen holes ended in mineralization above or within the C Zone skarn horizon. Drill hole 30-0977, located 142.0 metres south of the modelled pit, intersected 375.3 metres grading 0.20% Cu and 1.31g/t Ag. This hole stopped in mineralization and can be extended if warranted. Drill hole 30-0985 intersected 528.0 metres grading 0.26% Cu and 1.72g/t Ag, including 46.5 metres grading 1.1% Cu and 6.19g/t Ag in skarn-style disseminated mineralization in the C Zone. This hole extends 122.0 m below the currently designed pit floor and stopped in mineralization. Robert Wares, Chairman & CEO, commented: “We are very pleased with the initial results of our 30,000-metre drill program at Gaspé Copper. Most of the reported results are from holes collared on top of Mount Copper, where historical drilling was relatively scarce. We can now confirm that this area is mineralized with limited oxide copper and that the potential for further expansion of the deposit appears to be significant as most of these holes ended in mineralization. With four drill rigs on site currently, I am excited to build upon what is already the largest undeveloped copper resource in Eastern North America.” About Osisko Metals Osisko Metals Incorporated is a Canadian exploration and development company creating value in the critical metals space. The Company controls one of Canada's premier past-producing zinc mining camps, the Pine Point Project, located in the Northwest Territories for which the 2022 PEA has indicated an after-tax NPV of $603M and an IRR of 25% based on the current Mineral Resource Estimates that are amenable to open pit and shallow underground mining and consist of 15.7Mt grading 5.55% ZnEq of Indicated Mineral Resources and 47.2Mt grading 5.94% ZnEq of Inferred Mineral Resources. Please refer to the technical report entitled “Preliminary Economic Assessment, Pine Point Project, Hay River, Northwest Territories, Canada” dated July 30, which has been filed on SEDAR. The Pine Point Project is located on the south shore of Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories, near infrastructure, paved highway access, and has an electrical substation as well as 100 kilometres of viable haulage roads already in place. The Company is also in the process of acquiring, from Glencore Canada, a 100% interest in the past-producing Gaspé Copper Mine, located near Murdochville in the Gaspé peninsula of Quebec. The Company is currently focused on resource evaluation of the Mount Copper Expansion Project that hosts a NI43-101 Inferred Resource of 456Mt grading 0.31% Cu (see April 28, 2022 press release). Gaspé Copper hosts the largest undeveloped copper resource in Eastern North America, strategically located near existing infrastructure in the mining-friendly province of Quebec. https://ceo.ca/@drjimjones Twitter: https://twitter.com/drjimjonesceo Podcast channel: https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/due-diligence-by-doc-jones-resource-investor-hunting/id1568221675 Podcast is for educational purposes only not investment advice. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/docjonesresourceinvestor/message

Supreme Court of Canada upholds decision to imprison a homosexual as a "dangerous sex offender." Everett George Klippert unwittingly woke Canadians up to injustices against homosexuals, and inspired Pierre Trudeau’s famous quote, “The state has no place in the bedrooms of the nation.” On the morning of August 16, 1965, when RCMP officers in Pine Point, Northwest Territories happened to speak to Klippert, he openly revealed his homosexuality, and mentioned he’d been sexually involved with a number of men during his adult life. They arrested him and the next day, in Hay River, he was charged with four counts of gross indecency under section 149 of the criminal code. Days later, he was sentenced to three years in prison, and on a subsequent charge, was declared a dangerous sexual offender to be held in prison indefinitely. Even on a final appeal, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled against Klippert on November 7, 1967. Despite the court’s majority opinion, many Canadians were shocked. Klippert’s case alerted them to injustices against homosexuals. Pierre Trudeau, who was justice minister at the time, responded to the case with his famous quote. He added, “I think that what's done in private between adults doesn't concern the criminal code.” The Liberal government passed Bill C-150, which decriminalized “gross indecency” and “buggery” if sexual relations were committed in private between two consenting adults over the age of 21. Ironically, even as the laws changed, Klippert remained imprisoned. Not until July 20, 1971 was Klippert released on parole. Over time, many other Canadian laws concerning gay men and lesbians were liberalized, especially after the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms came into effect. By the summer of 2005, Canada was the fourth country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage, after the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

I Want To Live. In this episode of Teachings In The Air, we talk to award-winning filmmaker and We Matter co-founder Kelvin Redvers about his journey to wellness, and what inspired him to start We Matter with his sister Tunchai. Kelvin recently dropped by our office in Vancouver, BC and we were fortunate enough to hear some stories and insights from his work in spreading hope to Indigenous youth across Canada. Kelvin Redvers is an award-winning writer, producer and film director who belongs to the Deniniu K’ue First Nation. Kelvin grew up in Hay River, Northwest Territories and now calls Vancouver home. His work covers both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal topics as well as First Nations community and aboriginal current affairs. In October 2016, Kelvin and his sister Tunchai launched 'We Matter', a national online campaign designed to bring awareness to the struggles of Indigenous youth across Canada. It is modelled after Dan Savage's 'It Gets Better' campaign and collects videos and writings from each Indigenous community across Canada with the aim of reducing the number of indigenous teen suicides, while also providing them with mental health resources. We Matter is a multi-media campaign in which Indigenous role models and allies submit art, written and video messages sharing their own experiences of overcoming hardships, and communicating with Indigenous youth that no matter how hopeless life can feel, there is always a way forward. Since launching in October 2016, the We Matter Campaign has reached millions of people on social media and continues to be an ever-growing library of positivity and hope. Kelvin and his sister mail the We Matter videos on USB drives to Indigenous communities across Canada who do not have internet access, and if you have some positive messages of support and encouragement for our Indigenous youth, you can even submit a video yourself! We had a great time catching up with Kelvin, and we hope you enjoy the episode. To find out more about We Matter, visit their website at: http://wematter.org
