(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus British driver lost car insurance over Christian bumper sticker A British driver lost his car insurance for displaying a Christian message on his vehicle.  Simeon Chandra put handmade “Jesus Loves You” stickers on his car. However, his GoSkippy Insurance broker said he must remove the stickers to retain coverage. The Christian Legal Centre is now supporting him in his ordeal. Andrea Williams, chief executive of the group, said, “Having experienced profound transformation through Jesus, from despair to hope, and from brokenness to purpose, [Simeon] is not ashamed to share what he believes. … If insurers can refuse [coverage] because a customer displays a Christian message, that should alarm everyone who cares about freedom of religion and freedom of expression.” 1 Peter 3:15-16 says, “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.” To register a polite, on-line complaint with GoSkippy, visit our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com. European household pets outnumber children Evangelical Focus reports that household pets outnumber children in Europe.  As of 2024, 49 percent of European households owned a pet. Of the 306 million pets in Europe, most were cats followed by dogs and ornamental birds.  By comparison, there are 1.4 million children under the age of 15 in Europe. That means the continent has an average 0.4 children for every pet. In fact, pet dogs now outnumber children in 15 European countries.   Massachusetts legalized killing babies on their birthdays Here in the United States, Massachusetts legalized the killing of unborn babies up to the point of birth on August 10th. Democrat Governor Maura Healey, a lesbian who is faux married to a woman and identifies as a Catholic, signed the abortion bill into law on Monday. The measure allows late-term abortions for any reason. Listen to how Governor Healy asserts that killing a baby is “healthcare” at her press conference. HEALY: “I promise that no matter what Donald Trump or Republicans in Congress, or the Supreme Court does, we're going to continue to make sure that women and families have access to the healthcare that they need right here in Massachusetts. “We know that protecting abortion access and reproductive healthcare has been under fire. We saw it when the Supreme Court overturned Roe in the Dobbs decision back in 2022, the first time a court has ever taken away a right that was given. “We've seen it as Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress continue to pass anti-abortion legislation, including extreme abortion bans. Today, one in three women in America live in a state with an abortion ban. “President Trump's new attorney general, Todd Blanche, over the weekend, said that overturning Roe v. Wade should be made ‘permanent' in every state. That's what we're up against.” Massachusetts is now the 11th state, plus the District of Columbia, to allow abortions up to birth. (Massachusetts joins Alaska, Colorado, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon and Vermont, according to FoxNews.com). Isaiah 59:7 says, “Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.” ​Trump recommends fewer child vaccines & greater parental authority On August 10th, President Donald Trump signed an executive order on childhood vaccines, recommending fewer ones and that they be spread out over time instead of injecting multiple vaccines in one sitting. Listen to comments from Stephen Miller, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy. MILLER: “Because of your courage and leadership, Mr. President, millions of parents all over America today are breathing an enormous sigh of relief. I say this as the parent of young children myself. “Millions and millions of parents feel they've been pressured when their children are just weeks out of the hospital to take five shots, six shots, seven shots -- all at once. They're told it'll be normal. Your kid will have a fever of 103 [degrees] for three or four days. Your kid will stop eating for a week. Your kid's going to change all their sleeping. Don't worry; it's totally fine. It's totally normal. Nobody has studied it. Nobody's looked at it. Nobody's thought about it. “The pressure from the pharmaceutical industry and from aspects of the medical industry to pump your kids full of shots days after birth, with no understanding of the long-term consequences, has been a medical travesty.” In addition, the order recommends 11 immunizations for children, down from 18. The order also calls on states to protect parental authority and religious freedom in vaccine decisions.   Specifically, President Trump said in the order, “It is the policy of my administration that federal programs and funding should support maximal parental choice over childhood vaccines.” America's oil reserves dropped to half capacity America's oil reserves have fallen to the lowest level in over 40 years. The U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve dropped below 300 million barrels last week. That's less than half of its total capacity and the lowest level since 1983.  In March, President Donald Trump authorized the release of up to 172 million barrels from the reserve in response to the war with Iran.  Churchgoers who attend Bible studies have highest discipleship scores And finally, Lifeway Research reports churchgoers who attend Bible studies have the highest discipleship scores. The discipleship scores highlight characteristics consistently present in the lives of believers who are progressing in their spiritual maturity. U.S Protestant churchgoers who attend a small group Bible study five times or more each month had the highest discipleship scores.  Scott McConnell, executive director of Lifeway Research, said, “The value of small groups is seen in higher levels of evangelism, service, giving, disciplines and relationships among those who regularly participate in small groups of adults from church compared to those who do not.” Acts 2:42 describes the early church: “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Monday, August 10th, in the year of our Lord 2026. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus India looking to restrict foreign funding of Christian groups India's Parliament is considering a bill to restrict foreign funding of Christian and other faith-based groups.  The measure would allow authorities to seize the assets of such organizations if their registration is canceled. Officials have already canceled the registrations of over 22,000 non-governmental organizations.  Republican Congressman Chris Smith of New Jersey is calling on the Trump administration to address this issue with India. He wrote, “If adopted, the bill would sharply expand the ability of the Indian state to seize the property and assets of groups that receive foreign funding — the vast majority of these being Christian churches and charities, such as hospitals and schools.” According to Open Doors, India is the 12th worst country worldwide for the persecution of Christians. In John 10:10, Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit Japanese island A 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit Japan's southern island of Kyushu yesterday.  The quake caused a collapse at a shopping mall, killing several people. Dozens of people are missing or injured. The Fire and Disaster Management Agency advised over 260,000 people to evacuate the area.   Japan's Nuclear Regulation Authority reported no issues with nearby nuclear power plants.  Please pray that God would comfort the Japanese families of those who have died and restore those who have been injured. Senate confirmed Jay Clayton as Director of National Intelligence The U.S. Senate voted on July 28 to confirm Jay Clayton, who was nominated by President Donald Trump to be the next Director of National Intelligence, reports The Epoch Times. Clayton's confirmation by the Senate came after the Senate Intelligence Committee voted 9–8 along party lines on July 21 to advance his nomination. He was ultimately confirmed with 51 senators' support to 47 voting against. SENATOR: “On this vote, the yeas are 51, the nays are 47, and the nomination is confirmed. And the president will be immediately notified of the Senate's action.” Previously, Jay Clayton served as the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York as well as the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission under President Trump's first administration. Justice Department affirmed parents' right to disciple children The United States Justice Department issued religious liberty guidance to all executive departments and agencies last week. The memo reaffirmed many religious freedom protections in federal law. It also added a new piece of guidance.  The memo stated, “Parents have the right to direct the religious upbringing and education of their children. This right extends beyond a mere right to teach religion in the confines of one's home and encompasses the choices parents make for their children outside the home.” In Deuteronomy 6:6-7, God said, “These words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” Drinking water in three cities contained Abortion Kill Pill A new peer-reviewed study found that the drinking water in multiple cities contained the Abortion Kill Pill called Mifepristone. Those cities include Austin, Texas; Blacksburg, Virginia; and Carbondale, Illinois. For years, pro-life groups have been calling on the Environmental Protection Agency to track Mifepristone.  Kristan Hawkins with Students for Life of America stated, “A study inspired by [our] clean water advocacy shows that our concerns are valid. In three cities where water was tested, the active metabolites of Mifepristone, the Chemical Abortion Pill, were in the water. We need the EPA to nationalize this examination, especially in light of so many struggling with infertility.” About 700,000 chemical abortions each year send long-lasting abortion drugs and human remains into America's wastewater systems. Mifepristone blocks progesterone, thus starving the baby. This drug has long-lasting metabolites that remain in the water because the water treatment plants are generally not capable of filtering out these chemicals. GOP Congresswoman Mary Miller of Illinois has introduced the Clean Water for All Life Act. Appearing on EWTN, Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life, said this. HAWKINS: “Mothers are taking these pills at home, in their dormitories, and when they are told when the cramping gets too severe to go on the toilet and to keep flushing and not to look -- meaning chemically tainted placenta and blood, as well as the human remains of our child, are being flushed in our waterways. And when you think about the fact that you're talking over 700,000 abortions a year are happening this way, this means, at a minimum, 50 tons of chemically-tainted blood and placenta are being flushed down our toilets with human remains every year, laced with anti-progesterone metabolites, which, shockingly, after they pass through the mother's body, starve the child and kill the child, do not go inactive. “They actually remain active as they pass through our water system. Voters want political candidates to address the economy The U.S. midterm elections are coming up in November.  Pew Research surveyed voters on what issues they want candidates to address. The top issue was the economy. Voters are especially concerned about affordability and the cost of living. Americans are evenly divided over which party they agree with on economic policies.  If the election were held today, 43 percent of respondents said they would back a Democrat candidate for Congress. Meanwhile, 37 percent said they would back a Republican.  Younger churchgoers want more liturgy in worship service Lifeway Research released a survey on liturgy in worship services at Protestant churches. Liturgies can include elements like set prayers, readings, and formal patterns. Forty-two percent of churchgoers say their church has some of the liturgical style. Twenty-seven percent say they have no liturgical style. And 24 percent say they have a very liturgical style. Seventy-five percent of respondents said they are satisfied with the amount of liturgy at their church. Thirteen percent want more liturgy, while five percent want less. Surprisingly, younger generations are more likely to want their church to include more liturgy.  California lifeguard saved 10-year-old boy NBC Bay Area reports a lifeguard saved the life of a 10-year-old boy at a California beach this week. Waves were overwhelming the boy at Seabright Beach in Santa Cruz. A 16-year-old lifeguard rushed into the water to save him. Other joined in as well.  The dramatic rescue drew the attention of President Donald Trump. He wrote on X, “We're going to bring this heroic young man, and his family, into the White House with, perhaps, the boy he saved, to give him a High Civilian Honor. [You can join her and send a letter: Suzanne McCormick, President, Young Men's Christian Association, 101 North Wacker Drive, Chicago, Illinois 60606.] “I also phoned the office of my U.S. Congressman and asked him to vote to continue to defund the abortion giant Planned Parenthood.   Thank you for including the link.” Minnesota college student gave $500 to help fund newscast And Maylivia in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, whom I spoke with on the phone last night for 20 minutes, wrote, “Adam, my family and I listen to The Worldview every morning. If I'm around when my dad, also named Adam, is preparing and eating breakfast, we listen to it on repeat about six times, literally. He says he doesn't want to miss any of the details. Now, if he's already gone to work, I listen to it on my computer with the transcript, but only once. My mom and sister also listen as part of starting their day. We love having a concise wrap-up of the news, especially for updates on persecuted Christians. “Considering that my family uses it so much, I've decided to give $500. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Canadian group penalized for targeting Christians LifeSiteNews reports that an activist group in Canada recently lost its government funding after being exposed for targeting Christians. The Canadian Anti-Hate Network gets hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxpayer funding each year. Conservative lawmakers have called out the group for its hostility to Christians and pro-lifers.  Campaign Life Coalition posted on X, “The Canadian Anti-Hate Network is reportedly out of Canadian Heritage funding. This is welcome news. For years, Canadians have been forced to subsidize an activist organization that has helped fuel suspicion and hostility toward Christians, pro-lifers, and other peaceful citizens.” Only 34 percent of Canadians say Bible is authoritative Lifeway Research released its new State of Theology in Canada Study. The survey found 51 percent of Canadians say that religious belief is not about objective truth. Only 34 percent believe the Bible has the authority to tell us what we must do.  A majority of Canadian adults believe God accepts the worship of all religions, that most people are good by nature, and that the Bible is not literally true.  Scott McConnell, executive director of Lifeway Research, noted, “For most Canadians, the Bible's teaching on how to live is only as convincing as the Bible itself. When half openly doubt the Bible, it is not surprising that the majority disagree with the Bible on how it says to live.” Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.” Alaska could expand access to Abortion Kill Pill In the United States, Alaska passed legislation last week that could expand access to the Abortion Kill Pill. House Bill 195 would allow pharmacists to prescribe drugs to individuals, not just administer them.  Pat Martin is the director of Alaska Right to Life. He warned that the measure would “expand Chemical Abortion (Mifepristone) access from Anchorage and Fairbanks Planned Parenthood sites to virtually every city, town, and village that has a hospital, clinic, or pharmacy.” Romans 3:15-18 says, “Their feet are swift to shed blood; in their paths are ruin and misery, and the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Hawaiian officials in hot water for censoring free speech Officials in Hawaii agreed to pay over $100,000 to settle a free speech lawsuit last week. The Babylon Bee sued the state over its law that censored online political speech. The Christian news satire site won a similar case in California last year with the help of Alliance Defending Freedom. Seth Dillon, the CEO of The Babylon Bee, commented on the recent victory in Hawaii. He said, “This settlement marks yet another victory for the First Amendment and for anyone who values the right to speak freely on political matters without government interference.” Buying power of U.S. workers fell by 3% Pew Research released a report on American wages compared to the rising cost of living. In the past 20 years, wages have outpaced inflation. Based on the Consumer Price Index, the median wage's real buying power grew by 12.1 percent between 1999 and 2025.  However, over the past five years, the buying power of median wages actually fell by over three percent. This aligns with record inflation levels in recent years.  Weekly churchgoers have better mental health And finally, the Wheatley Institute published a report entitled, “The Religion and Mental Health Connection.” The report reviewed thousands of studies linking religion to better mental health by a 10-to 1 ratio. Studies found the rates of suicide, depression, and anxiety were lower among people who attended religious services. This was especially true for people who attended services at least weekly.  The report stated, “It is not nominal affiliation, but committed religious involvement that appears to matter most.” Hebrews 10:23-25 says to Christians, "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. That's the story from Nigeria today. While a wedding party was taking place in the town of Bundu-Kahugu, a small group off young men, volunteer guards fought off armed Fulani for over an hour. The boys never retreated, as they held off the heavily armed attackers with nothing but machetes and handmade pipe guns. Four of the Christian youth were killed, and another six critically wounded. . The terrorists were unable to kidnap a single soul, or burn down any of the homes in the village. One observer told Truth Nigeria: “[The Fulani] attacked from four sides at the same time, at 11:45 pm Friday night.” And he said. “Our town has about 2000 homes, a small police post, a bank, two primary School and a High School. . .It is a Christian town, and we are expanding all the times because of high birthrates.” “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.” (John 15:13) Praise God for the courage of a few young men.  Would you pray for Nigerian Christians this Christmas season. David came in second, behind Avatar at the weekend box office, with $22 million gross receipts. Angel Studios is best known for their production of the films, “Sound of Freedom” and “His Only Son.” Earlier this year, Angel Studios produced “King of kings” — an animated film on the Life of Christ — pulling down $80 million total receipts. Now, Jair Bolsonaro's son has announced he's running for president in 2026. Flavio Bolsonaro says he's conservative on taxes and spending, but more moderate on others. . . He told Reuters, that he's still good with COVID-19 vaccines. 43% of Churchgoers are Pro-Life A recent Family Research Center survey indicates some bad news for American Christians. Only 43% of churchgoers describe themselves now as pro-life, down from 63% two years ago. The survey looked at regular churchgoers — only 44% of the American population. Only 41% of churches bring up the topic of abortion multiple times a year. The Human Coalition, the Family Research Council, and other Christian leaders have issued a public letter to pastors in America pointing out that the life issue is a gospel issue. The letter, signed by Tony Perkins and Dr. Daniel Akin, president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary exhorts pastors to 1. Preach the Gospel of Life with clarity and compassion. 2. Proclaim the truth that every unborn child is sacred. 3. Offer the hope of Christ to post-abortive men and women in your pews. And, 4. Equip. . .congregations to be defenders of the vulnerable. 30,000 Attend Turning Point's America Fest in Phoenix Turning Point's America Fest in Phoenix brought in 30,000 Charlie Kirk fans over the weekend. . . The event featured the Who's Who in America conservativism — Ben Shapiro, Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon, Vivek Ramaswamy, Donald Trump Jr., and Vice President J.D. Vance. Rifts between the speakers surfaced — on issues related to America First nationalism and policy related to Israel. Younger Republicans are far more hesitant to support Israel than older Republicans, according to a recent You-Gov Survey. Taking one metric for instance, only 10% of twenty-something Republicans favor giving military support to Israel — compared to 49% of Republicans over 65 years of age.  InsiderAdvantage has released presidential approval numbers — Trump stands at 50%. . . The gender gap remains — 34% of American men disapprove of Trump's performance, against 47% of women registering disapproval. Gold Charges Upwards and Condo Prices Rise Gold is still charging upwards — now $4,438 per ounce, and silver upwards of $68 and change. Condo prices, seen as the canary warning in the mines for real estate — are sinking fast right now. Florida condos have dropped 15-30% from 2022 highs. Texas condo prices are down 15-20%, and Colorado Condos prices are down 10-15%. Add 11% for inflation and we're looking at a 20-40% contraction on the 2022 bubble. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Muslims in Congo killed 17 patients in a Christian hospital Sheer evil has struck Africa again. Last Friday, Muslim militants with the Allied Democratic Forces killed 17 people at a Christian hospital in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.  The armed rebels killed patients in their hospital beds, including women who were nursing their babies. Such civilian massacres are becoming more common in the Christian-majority area. Congo is ranked 35th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the most dangerous countries to be a Christian. Open Doors' profile for the country notes, “Allied with the Islamic State group, the [Allied Democratic Forces] abduct and kill Christians and attack churches, leading to widespread terror, insecurity and displacement.” European Court of Human Rights denied rights of unborn humans The European Court of Human Rights  ruled in favor of abortion last week, denying the rights of unborn humans. The case began when a woman wanted to get an abortion in Poland after discovering her baby had a genetic disorder. However, Poland's Constitutional Tribunal had struck down abortion on the basis of disability.  So, the woman travelled abroad for an abortion and challenged Poland's decision. The European court ruled against Poland in the case. Dr. Felix Böllmann with Alliance Defending Freedom International warned, “This judgment sends a troubling signal that the Court is again willing to overstep its role. The Court should return to its original mission of protecting genuine human rights, not inventing false ones.” Isaiah 10:1-2 says, “Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, who write misfortune, which they have prescribed to rob the needy of justice ... that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless.” U.S. pregnancy centers are seeing growth In the United States, pregnancy centers are seeing growth in recent years. The Charlotte Lozier Institute released its 2025 National Pregnancy Center Report. The study found 2,775 pregnancy centers provided over $452 million in care, education, and material goods to families in 2024. The centers also saw over one million new clients for the first time last year. That's the equivalent of each location serving a new client every day! The phase out of the unnecessary Department of Education The U.S. Department of Education announced Tuesday it is handing off major responsibilities to other federal agencies. This is part of the Trump administration's plan to close the department.  The plan transfers major programs to the Departments of Labor, Interior, State as well as Health and Human Services. Listen to comments from U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon. MCMAHON: “The announcement really follows the plan that President Trump has had since Day 1, and that is returning education to the states.  He fully believes, as do I, the best education is that that is closest to the child, and not one run from a bureaucracy in Washington D.C.” Only 11% of U.S. churchgoers have Biblical worldview Christian researcher Dr. George Barna released his latest survey on the worldview of Americans, specifically regular churchgoers. The report found only 11% of churchgoers have a Biblical worldview. Only 54% say the Bible is the inspired, error-free Word of God. About 50% or less believe the Bible speaks clearly on moral issues. And 32% of churchgoers now prefer socialism over capitalism. Dr. David Closson, Director of the Center for Biblical Worldview at the Family Research Council, commented on the study.  He said, “The answer to these trends is not despair, but a return to the faithful proclamation of God's Word. We must help Christians connect their zeal for God with the knowledge of God, as Scripture commands in Romans 10:2.” That verse says, “For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.” WalMart CEO and Berkshire Hathaway CEO retire And finally, CEOs of U.S. companies are leaving at record rates this year. This comes as many executives are reaching retirement age. For example, 59-year-old Doug McMillion will retire from being CEO of Walmart next year after leading the retailer's growth for over a decade.  In another case, 95-year-old Warren Buffett is stepping down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway this year. After 60 years in leadership, the renowned investor sent out his final letter to shareholders last week.  In his final thoughts, Buffett wrote, “Greatness does not come about through accumulating great amounts of money. When you help someone in any of thousands of ways, you help the world. Kindness is costless but also priceless. Whether you are religious or not, it's hard to beat The Golden Rule as a guide to behavior.” Buffett's billions funded millions of abortions Too bad Buffet has not used his resources to treat the unborn children in the womb with such Golden Rule kindness. Instead, the Media Research Center reported that Buffett's grants to abortion groups through the Buffett Foundation totaled at least $1.3 billion between 1989 and 2012. (The tax returns from 1997 to 2000 were missing.)  The New York Times reported, “Most of the [Buffet] Foundation's spending goes to abortion and contraception.”  Buffett's biographer describes him as having “a Malthusian dread” of population growth among the poor. And the Buffett Foundation's spending in this area was accelerating rapidly as the 2000s unfolded. Beneficiaries of Buffett's deadly giving include $300 million for abortion giant Planned Parenthood as well as millions more for the National Abortion Rights Action League, the National Abortion Federation, Catholics for a Free Choice, Abortion Access Project, Population Council, Marie Stopes International, the Center for Reproductive Rights, and dozens of other pro-abortion advocates. In addition, the Buffett Foundation gave money that was instrumental in creating the abortion drug RU-486 and pushing it through clinical trials. Tragically, 63% of mothers who abort in America today use this deadly drug to kill their babies. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Chinese Communists detain dozens of leaders of unregistered church The American State Department has condemned the Chinese Communist Party's recent detention of dozens of Christian leaders of the unregistered house Zion Church in Beijing. The arrests included the prominent Chinese Pastor Mingri “Ezra” Jin.  Zion Church includes 10,000 people from at least 40 Chinese cities -- making it  one of the largest house churches in China.   Secretary of State Marco Rubio is calling on the Communists to “immediately release the detained church leaders and to allow all people of faith, including members of house churches, to engage in religious activities without fear of retribution.”   Pastor Jin's son-in-law, Bill Drexel of the Hudson Institute, called the arrests “the most extensive attack on a Chinese church in four decades.” Trump rolls out additional 100% tariff on Chinese imports Speaking of China, U.S. President Donald Trump has announced an additional 100% tariff on all Chinese imports, above and beyond current rates. It will become effective on November 1st. This would raise tariff rates on Chinese imports to at least 155%. The Trump tariffs have not damaged Chinese exports much so far this year.  . .  Official numbers released yesterday indicate a 4% increase on total Chinese exports for the year. This occurred despite a 19% drop in US imports from China year-to-date. The U.S. makes up only 14% of Chinese exports. Israeli leader compares Trump to Cyrus the Great Celebrating the end of the recent war in the Middle East, President Donald Trump talked to the Israeli Parliament yesterday, reports the Times of Israel. Listen, TRUMP: “This is not only the end of a war; this is the end of an age of terror and death and the beginning of the age of faith and hope and of God. “It's the start of a grand concord and lasting harmony for Israel and all the nations of what will soon be a truly magnificent region. I believe that so strongly. This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.” This comes as the Israeli-Hamas War ends and the twenty remaining living Israeli hostages were returned to their families. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu  thanked President Trump for his support of Israel. NETANYAHU:  “The American-Israeli Alliance has never been as strong as it is now. The President has been an outstanding global leader. He's really transforming the world to better all of us. And I can again repeat what I've said time and time again: He's the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House.” And Amir Ohana, the Speaker of the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament, also spoke in glowing terms. OHANA: “Mr. President, you stand before the people of Israel not as another American president, but as a giant of Jewish history -- one for whom we must look back two and a half millennia, into the mists of time, to find a parallel: Cyrus the Great. “You, President Donald J. Trump, are a colossus who will be enshrined in the pantheon of history. Thousands of years from now, Mr. President, the Jewish people will remember you.” Keep in mind, Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6-7 says, “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace, there will be no end.“ The conservative Global Methodist Church has drawn 6,000 churches The more conservative Global Methodist Church now has 6,000 congregations worldwide, about 80% of which are in the United States.     That compares with about 29,000 congregations participating in the more pro-homosexual United Methodist Church. Barna: 20% fewer churchgoers identify as pro-life Christian researcher George Barna revealed devastating news this weekend. The pollster found that the percentage of American churchgoers identified  as pro-life has dropped off from 63% to 43% in just the last two years. The largest decline of pro-life commitment occurred among Evangelical churches — an incredible 33% decline!   Churchgoers claiming to be pro-abortion increased from 22% to 35% over the same two years.   Yet, at the same time, 75% of churchgoers believe that God is the author of life, and 83% say they believe that every human has value and dignity. The report also found that 49% of Gen Z churchgoers are in favor of homosexual faux marriage. Among the nearly nine in 10 Americans who self-identify as Christian, the most common types of Christian church they attend are Catholic at 39%, mainline Protestant at 20%), Evangelical at 18%, independent or non-denominational Christian at 9%, and Pentecostal/charismatic at 4%. Of American churchgoers surveyed, 34% claim to be conservative, and 20% claim to be liberal. Jesus said, “You are the salt of the Earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” (Matthew 5:13) Gold up 54% within the year Metals have become the preferred go-to for investors, or those who are out to preserve capital. Over the last month, gold is up 11% and silver is up 17%, while Bitcoin and the Nasdaq have been about even over the same time frame. Year-to-date, gold is up 54%! Experts point to the Fed's monetary easing, sluggish economic growth, rising inflation, and geopolitical instabilities as contributing to the trend.  Central banks fighting inflation Central banks worldwide are fighting inflation by reducing their Quantitative easing to tightening, from a peak of $38.6 trillion in 2022 to $29.5 trillion today.  These numbers are still up from $12 trillion back in 2009. The world inflation rate has dropped from 8.6% in 2022 to about 5% today. By contrast, between 2010 and 2020, the world inflation rate was running at 3.5% Government shutdown in 14th day And finally, the U.S. government shutdown enters its 14th day today.   The longest shutdown in history occurred in 2018, over a period of 35 days. About half of the 3,000,000 people on the federal payroll are out of work —or at least are foregoing a paycheck. About 750,000 federal employees have been furloughed. However, the Government Employee Fair Treatment Act of 2019 will ensure that all federal employees receive back pay for the shutdown period, if the government reopens for business sometime in the future. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Sudanese police interrupt funeral service to arrest 5 Christians Police in Sudan disrupted a funeral prayer meeting last month to arrest five Christians. The Christians are South Sudanese. Police have been targeting Ethiopian and South Sudanese nationals for deportation as civil war rages in Sudan. Muslim extremists in the country are also calling for officials to arrest South Sudanese Christians in particular.  A local church leader told Morning Star News, “There is a growing fear among the South Sudanese Christians. So, they remain indoors in order to avoid being arrested.” Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ in Sudan. The Northeast African nation is ranked fifth on the Open Doors World Watch List of the most difficult countries to be a Christian.  Sudanese landslide killed 1,000 people Speaking of Sudan, the country suffered one of its worst natural disasters in recent history.  On Sunday, a landslide wiped out the village of Tarasin in the western region of Darfur. Only one person survived, leaving an estimated 1,000 people dead. The landslide came after weeks of heavy rainfall in the mountainous region. Getting aid to the area is already difficult due to the ongoing civil war. In recent years, Sudan's conflict has generated what is considered the world's largest humanitarian crisis.  25.9 million digital Bible downloads in 2024 The United Bible Societies Fellowship reached 240 countries and territories with millions of copies of the Bible last year. The Fellowship of Bible Societies facilitated 25.9 million digital Bible downloads in 2024. This outpaced full Bible printings for the first time. The fellowship distributed 22.5 million printed Bibles last year. It also distributed 8.6 million printed New Testaments and over 118 million printed portions of Scripture.  Brazil led the way in printed and digital distribution, followed by India, China, Nigeria, and the Philippines.  Brazilian homeschool mom lost her case in court Earlier this week, a Brazilian court heard a case of a mom prosecuted for homeschooling her son.   Regiane Cichelero was facing fines of $20,000 and threats of losing custody of her child, for daring to choose home education on religious grounds.   Alliance Defending Freedom International has taken up the case. Her legal counsel, Julio Pohl, points out that “No parent should fear state punishment for choosing to homeschool their child. Regiane made a lawful and conscientious decision to teach her son at home. We are hopeful that the court will affirm her rights and take an important step toward protecting parental rights in Brazil.”   Sadly, Cichelero lost the case.  She was ordered to re-enroll her child in Brazilian public school and ordered to pay the equivalent of $20,000 for not complying. She said, “We will take the case to the Supreme Federal Court and from there, if we continue to receive a ‘no,' we will take it to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.” She had a special message for the Christian homeschoolers who have been praying for her. Cichelero said, “To you who prayed, my sincere thanks. Remember, prayers never return empty. The Lord is sovereign over all things. The Lord has called us for this time, for this cause, for this moment. We are writing history. … He is still the God who controls everything. He has not abandoned us!” US military strike kills 11 Venezuelan terrorists in boat with narcotics The United States conducted a military strike on Tuesday on a drug boat from Venezuela. On Truth Social, President Trump wrote, “The strike occurred while the terrorists were at sea in International waters transporting illegal narcotics, heading to the United States. The strike resulted in 11 terrorists killed in action.” Listen to comments from President Trump. TRUMP: “On the boat, you had massive amounts of drugs. We have tapes of them speaking. It was massive amounts of drugs coming into our country to kill a lot of people. Everybody fully understands that. In fact, you see it, you see the bags of drugs all over the boat. And they were hit obviously. They won't be doing it again. And I think a lot of other people won't be doing it again when they watch that tape. We have to protect our country, and we're going to.” President Trump said the terrorists belonged to Tren de Aragua. The Venezuelan gang is responsible for mass murder, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, and acts of violence.  Trump supports Christian pregnancy centers The Trump administration is supporting Christian pregnancy centers in New Jersey in a case before the U.S. Supreme Court. First Choice Women's Resource Centers is challenging New Jersey's unconstitutional investigation into its operations. Erin Hawley, Senior Counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom, said, “New Jersey's attorney general is targeting First Choice—a ministry that provides parenting classes, free ultrasounds, baby clothes, and more to its community—simply because of its pro-life views. The Constitution protects First Choice and its donors from demands by a hostile state official to disclose their identities.” 50% of Congress are people of Biblical principle The Christian Employers Alliance released their new report card on U.S. Congressional leaders. The index scores lawmakers on a 0-to-100 scale based on their alignment with Biblical principles. Republicans tended to score better than Democrats. Of the 535 members of Congress, half scored 50% or better. Margaret Luculano is the president of the Christian Employers Alliance. She told the Washington Examiner, “Our faith is the foundation of how we live and lead, and lawmakers need that same compass as they face complex policies. That's why we launched the Biblical Business Index — a first-of-its-kind tool bringing together theologians and policy experts to connect Scripture with today's legislation.” Wisdom says in Proverbs 8:15, “By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice.” Gen Z & Millennials attend church more often than older Americans And finally, the Barna Group released new research from its ongoing State of the Church initiative. The report found Christians from younger generations are attending church more frequently than before. They also attend more often than Christians from older generations.  Churchgoers from Gen Z attend 1.9 times per month, while Millennials attend 1.8 times per month. The average for U.S. churched adults is 1.6 per month. Also, Gen Z and Millennial churchgoers attend nearly twice as much as they did in 2020.
