7-Mary-3! 7-Mary-3! Jon Baker is IN the house! CHiPs star Larry Wilcox talks about going from Wyoming to Vietnam to Hollywood, his big break getting $450/week acting opposite a Collie named LASSIE, initially turning DOWN the role of Officer Jon Baker, meeting Presidents Reagan & Bush Sr, why today he recognizes that anonymity is a GIFT, being haunted to this day by Ponch's singing rendition of ‘Celebration,' how the motorcycle duo got access to those extensive LA freeways, why NEITHER of them actually had a valid motorcycle license during CHiPs, the seven episodes where Erik Estrada's absence was filled by Olympic Champion Bruce Jenner, why they rarely pulled their guns BUT did have to on Danny Bonaduce, how he ALMOST beat out Don Johnson for the role of Miami Vice's Sonny Crockett, why he still today dreams of the truffles at Toronto's Four Seasons Hotel, and how he & Erik Estrada navigated the highs & lows of celebrity to today becoming GREAT FRIENDS! Host's comment: I am very pleased that Larry has not let one bad experience with some really bad apples overpower his otherwise positive experiences in Toronto & Canada...standing in solidarity with Larry, I officially announce that Michael MacMillan, Seaton McLean [and by extension Sonja Smits] are permanently BANNED from ever appearing on the TORONTO LEGENDS podcast. A beloved woman in a posh Connecticut town goes out for a jog, same as she does every day. Along that route is an immense estate owned by the puppeteer, Caroll Spinney, who played the iconic “Big Bird” and “Oscar the Grouch” characters on Sesame Street. After failing to return, police searching for the woman find a literal blood trail leading directly to Big Bird's estate … and an immaculate Chinese pagoda on the property. Soon, all eyes are following that bird—and yet neither he - nor the woman - are anywhere to be found. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This week, Allan is joined by some serious heavy hitters in cyber. Richard Struse (Director for the Center for Threat-Informed Defense at MITRE Engenuity), Jonathan Baker (Director of Research & Development, Center for Threat-Informed Defense at MITRE Enginuity), and Jonathan Reiber (Sr. Director for Cybersecurity Strategy and Policy @ AttackIQ). The four are here to have a conversation about CISA's new BOD that outlines 290 key vulnerabilities that require focus, the coincidental mapping of the CVE database to MITRE ATT&ACK, and the implications for all of us. Of special note is the fact that ATT&CK is already mapped to NIST SP 800-53, meaning that we now have an opportunity to move bi-directionally from a threat-informed defense or to start with a framework and back into vulnerabilities. The implications for our industry are huge. They also discuss briefly an overview of the bi-partisan work in both the Executive and Legislative branches to further cybersecurity interests and the release of CMMC v 2.0. This show is packed. Andy Lopata discusses the positive and negative aspects of professional relationships during their careers with Jon Baker and Jenn Kahnweiler. For Jon, an introvert, he was most influenced by extroverts who were people oriented, while he found introverts more task focused. He recalled poor leaders who didn't recognise different personalities and wrongly denigrated those who didn't match their perspective. Jenn had both good and bad managers in the early stages of her career, but there were also fantastic mentors/bosses and others she wanted to emulate. Her negative experiences came from not taking the time to assess personality traits and trying to impose her own ideas. Jon and Jenn share their favourite resources.

Mr Ten Days is a romantic comedy radio play written by Jon Baker. Andy is a neurotic commitment-phobe. He prides himself on not doing relationships longer than ten days. Then he meets Emma, bright, attractive, optimist, training to be a marriage guidance counsellor. Emma fixes relationships, Andy doesn't do relationships.

In this fun podcast episode, we get to know Dr. Jon Baker, who practiced for 30 years in California, opening nine satellite clinics in the early 90s and helping several DCs and their families impact many lives. Dr. Baker has been a supporter of Sherman College, Life West, and Mile High for the last several years, as he sees that we need to focus our attention and energy and helping True Chiropractic thrive. Join us at Mile High commit early and save at www.milehighchiroregistrations.com One of the things that I appreciate about him is he believes we can truly make a difference as humans and chiropractors by being great examples of people who always and in all ways lead by example and follow by choice. He wants to see chiropractic delivered in such a way that people understand it so it can positively change the world in many ways. His message is to the profession to stop just being different and truly make a difference. A few things that are central to Dr. Baker's values, that are important for doctors of chiropractic and students to move towards in terms of success is that he determined early, when he looked around the profession, there wasn't as much happiness, health, passive income, net worth, and light at the end of the tunnel, as he wanted to see. Too often, chiropractors were working where they didn't have any freedom, they couldn't take vacation time, they couldn't be out of the office and they basically didn't have a business, they were self-employed people with jobs that were tied to their practice. We all love serving and seeing people's lives change through chiropractic, however when you're delivering the greatest healing art on the planet, it would be great to see you thriving as well as the people you're taking care of. As we discussed in this interview, to move your chiropractic practice to a business, his vision is you have to be able to leave the practice for six months, and it still run without you. A significant contributor to numerous charities, within and outside of chiropractic, Dr. Baker is making an impact on the better in the world, and when you hear about his project he's working on with X Ray corrective changes, you're going to find it very exciting. Have fun enjoying this interview, if you enjoy it please share it as well as give feedback online. He was awarded the Sherman College Chiropractor of the Year for 2016, due to his incredible relentless efforts to bring pure chiropractic message to the world. One of the highlights that I learned from this episode was that schools have streamed IFCO-TV and even canceled classes so people could watch and learn from it.
