Let's get them on AI!” Developmentally what do we know about middle school brains?  They lack impulse control. Set guardrails and limits.  Exercises in which students ask a generative AI chatbot to answer a question or write an essay and then critique it—looking for factual errors, etc. “It should be used as a tool to complement and challenge the critical-thinking skills that come online at this age,”    High School High school students are fast becoming sophisticated users of programs like ChatGPT. Teachers may feel their main duty at this stage is to police students and make sure they're not using ChatGPT, Photomath, and similar technologies to do their assignments. But experts say that educators have a more important role to play: primarily, to teach students the limitations of the technology. The text and images created by generative AI programs, for example, can be plagued with biases, stereotypes, and inaccuracies. “Exercise your natural suspicions. Doubt the machine. Topic for the Week:  Virtual Experiences   There's nothing quite like a field trip: That day when permission slips grant students golden tickets to an experience outside the classroom.   Although virtual field trips don't physically bring kids to new locations, they make use of the web and video to amplify online learning in an experiential way. Virtual field trips can be informative and inspiring.  They are inclusive because they don't depend on funding from PTO (that may or may not be there), grant applications, etc.  All the ones we are going to talk about today are FREE.   So where do you start? You might already have a topic in mind, which will narrow your choices. However, you'll also want to consider what type of virtual field trips to try.    Livestreaming - means students watch a live feed from a camera in another location.  Interactive exploration offers students a multimedia experience that's usually more hands-on and open-ended.  This might look like a 3d online tour. Video visits take kids to a location (by video) where a host or narrator provides information. Scheduled and guided virtual field trips feature a live guide or museum docent -- often on-site -- who takes students through the experience virtually. El chat gpt también nos sorprendió y nos leyó las cartas ¿habrá acertado?

Stāsta muzikoloģe Gunda Miķelsone Rīgas kamerkorim "Sindi putnu dārzs" (1986–1993) reizē laimējās un nelaimējās dzīvot laikā, kad absolūti viss vēl nebija pateikts, un ikkatru notikumu aptina mistiska noslēpumainības migla, tādējādi radot sprādziena vilnim līdzīgu efektu Latvijas koru sabiedrībā. Ir daudz atmiņu, bet maz dokumentētu norišu. Tehnoloģiju uzvaras gājiens noteikti būtu sekojis līdzi ikvienam kora solim, bet atnāca par vēlu. Nu "Sindi putnu dārzs" ir nedaudz kā noslēpums, kas uzmanīgi jāšķetina un tad jāliek kopā no jauna. Noslēpuma sākumpunkts, domāju, ikvienam ir kora nosaukums, tādēļ sākumā ķersimies klāt tam. Ineses Lūsiņas rakstā 1989. gada 24. janvāra "Padomju Jaunatnes" izdevumā lasām, ka "Sindi" tulkojumā no lībiešu valodas nozīmē "dzimtais". Turpat kora mākslinieciskais vadītājs Ivars Bērziņš skaidro: "Kad lūkojām nosaukumu, protams, pētījām arī tā nozīmi, lai gan vairāk domājām par to, kas labāk skan kopā." Bet Lūsiņa turpina: "Taču var jau arī netulkot un vienkārši ieklausīties, cik skaisti tas sindi skan – gluži kā dziedāti. Turklāt vēl putnu dārzā, kas šķiet tāda nereāla un ilgota sapņu vieta, kur varbūt vien iztēlē (skaņu pasaulē!) varam tikties uz brīdi. Un ap to lidojums – brīvība, uzdrīkstēšanās reibinošu augstumu un kustības mērķtiecības apziņā: – Jaunrade!" "Sindi putnu dārza" pirmais vēstures pieturpunkts atzīmējams 1986. gadā, kad bijušais Latvijas Radio kora diriģents Ivars Bērziņš sapulcināja kopā daļu no Radio kora sastāva. Nedaudz vēlāk nostiprinājās kora mākslinieciskā trīsvienība jeb 3B, kur līdzās Bērziņam bija režisors Uģis Brikmanis un komponists Mārtiņš Brauns, kurš tik tikko bija pametis rokgrupu "Sīpoli".  "Mēs esam skatāms, nevis klausāms koris," šo teikumu nenoliedzami varētu dēvēt par "Sindi putnu dārza" moto. Jo patiesi – Sindi ģimeni vadījis viens virsmērķis, gandrīz vai misijas apziņa: nojaukt robežu starp koristu, dejotāju un aktieri, starp klausītāju un skatītāju, starp skatītāju un koristiem, tā ka jebkurā brīdī ikviens skatītājs varēja riskēt tikt parauts aiz rokas un aicināts pievienoties. Šo lieliski ilustrē arī laiks, kad "Sindi" sadarbojās ar multimākslinieku, dīdžeju un hepeningu meistaru Hardiju Lediņu. Bērziņš atceras: "Reiz kopā ar Lediņu veidojām performanci. Atceros, ka klausītāji bija atnākuši uz koncertu, tam jau sen bija jāsākas, bet nekas nenotiek. Nenotiek jau pusstundu, tad stundu, pusotru. Zāles vidū stāv liels galds, pilns ar ēdienu. Un neviens, protams neaiztiek, tikai ik brīdi nemierīgi pamet skatienu galda virzienā. Koncerts taču." Bet Inese Lūsiņa ieskicē citu gadījumu: "Ir 1987. gada maijs. Jaunatnes teātra telpās gan skanot, gan arī neskanot mūzikai, notiek kaut kas ārkārtējs: īstas dzīres! Pa gaisu lido sīpolloki un sviestmaizes, laikam jau arī kāds tomāts, tā ka solīdi ģērbtākajām dāmām ir reāls pamats bažīties par saviem tērpiem. Papildinot itin vulgāras mīlestības ainas, skan sulīga lamāšanās… [..] Var saprast teātra administrācijas uztraukumu – kaut kas tāds šajās telpās vēl nav pieredzēts!" 1990. gada sākumā koris ieguva profesionālas vienības statusu, kļūstot par Latvijas Mūzikas biedrības kolektīvu. Šis brīdis bija gan ļoti svarīgs un gaidīts, jo beidzot varēja regulāri un netraucēti darboties, gan atsevišķiem koristiem arī gauži skumjš, jo ceļš uz jauno statusu nozīmēja kora sastāva maiņu. Statusa izmaiņas noteica arī koristu režīma izmaiņas. Rīgas Dokumentālo filmu studijas hronikā "Māksla" Nr. 2 (1990) atainota viena diena profesionālā kamerkora ikdienā. No rīta dziedātāji apmeklē peldbaseinu un trenažieru zāli, tad dodas uz dienas mēģinājumu, bet vakarā uz Rīgas cirku, lai Latvijas vienīgajā amfiteātrī sagatavotos operas "Eiridīke" pirmuzvedumam. Mārtiņa Brauna mūzikas un Knuta Skujenieka ieslodzījuma gados tapušās poēmas krustpunkta rezultāts, opera "Eiridīke" (1990) postmoderniskā garā apdzied jau izsenis pazīstamo grieķu mītu par Orfeju, tikai apgriež to otrādi, padarot Eiridīki par galveno visas cilvēces glābēju. Uzveduma režisors – Uģis Brikmanis, scenogrāfs un kostīmu mākslinieks – Andris Freibergs, bet galvenajās lomās – Mārtiņš Brauns kā Orfejs un Dita Krenberga kā Eiridīke. Patiesībā gan nedaudz jāprecizē darba žanrs – paši pirmatskaņotāji to dēvējuši par "sindi operu", ar to vienlaikus pasakot visu un neko. "Tikai ne rokopera. Jā, ir trīs vārdi, ko es vispār negribētu lietot savā leksikā – tie ir roks, sekss un avangards, jo to dziļākā būtība šobrīd pie mums ir ļoti degradēta," tā Līgai Rušeniecei laikraksta "Cīņa" 1990. gada 20. aprīļa numurā atbildējis Mārtiņš Brauns.  Tomēr laikam gan visnozīmīgākais "Sindi putnu dārza" mantojums ir Mārtiņa Brauna latviešu mesas "Daugava" (1988) atskaņojums. Mesa ar Raiņa vārdiem komponēta Valmieras Drāmas teātra izrādei Valentīna Maculēviča režijā. Koris "Daugavu" dziedājis daudzviet, bet noteikti daudziem vislielāko nospiedumu atstājis mesas atskaņojums pie Brīvības pieminekļa 1990. gada Dziesmu svētkos. Mārtiņš Brauns tam savulaik piekritis, jo "tolaik mums vēl nebija brīvības, bet atslēdziņa jau bija rokās", turklāt vēl piebilstot, ka neviens koris līdz šim nav spējis tik emocionāli iestudēt "Daugavu" kā "Sindi putnu dārzs". Ar šo emocionalitāti var sacensties tikai lielais Mežaparka kopkoris.  1993. gadā Ivars Bērziņš devās uz Hamburgas Mūzikas un teātra augstskolu, lai apgūtu kultūras menedžmentu, un tobrīd sākās lēna kora agonēšana, kas galu galā noveda līdz kora nāvei. Divdesmit divus gadus vēlāk, 2015. gada 16. maijā notika pirmais un pagaidām vienīgais "Sindi putnu dārza" salidojums. Dziedāja dziesmas, pārrunāja atmiņu stāstus un plānoja Latvijas simtgades atzīmēšanu 2018. gada 17. novembrī Lielvārdē ar Mārtiņa Brauna "Daugavas" iestudējumu. Diemžēl šos plānus pārtrauca Uģa Brikmaņa nāve 2018. gada augustā.  Bet Ivars Bērziņš žurnālā "Santa" kora nāves gadā jeb 1993. gada decembra numurā rezumē: "Šie iepriekšējie septiņi gadi man ir bijuši "Sindi putnu dārzs". Mājas. Darbs. Viss. Es pats putns. Putni dzied un lido. Putni ir brīvi. Putnu dārzs – tas varētu būt viens no pasaules brīnumiem. "Sindi putnu dārzs" – dzimtais pasaules brīnums."

Colo Colo igualó con Universidad Católica en el Estadio Monumental, en el cierre de la jornada 26 del Campeonato Nacional, en el partido pendiente de su desarrollo, que originalmente estaba programado para el pasado domingo. Un intenso encuentro donde el Cacique suma un punto, y este domingo recibe a Curicó Unido, con las chances de ser campeón si se dan algunas matemáticas. Todo lo ocurrido este martes en Macul y mucho más en DaleAlbo AM, junto a Edson Figueroa y Miguel Gutiérrez.

En una colaboración inédita, alumnos de Arquitectura de la UDD presentaron propuestas para actualizar el plano regulador de la comuna de Macul. ¿Por qué un plano regulador queda añejo? ¿Cuáles son los ejes fundamentales de un plano regulador? Se lo preguntamos al arquitecto y académico a cargo del proyecto, Álex Nohra. En su columna, el diseñador Osvaldo Luco destacó a una leyenda del diseño industrial: el alemán Dieter Rams, quien estableció los diez mandamientos del buen diseño.

La directiva que sucedió a la mesa de Fuad Chahín paralizó la venta de dos inmuebles, en Macul y Talagante, porque el precio era ostensiblemente inferior a las tasaciones comerciales. En conjunto, la diferencia suma $1.178 millones. Además, el Servel objetó una tercera venta porque se pagó una inusual comisión de 26% ($193 millones) por corretaje. La sociedad que recibió la comisión es de los mismos compradores de la propiedad. El inmueble de Talagante fue vendido al archivero judicial de Santiago, a un notario y a una jueza. A partir de las 22:00 del viernes, más de 4,5 millones de personas en la Región Metropolitana entrarán en cuarentena total. Esto equivale al 66% de la población de la provincia de Santiago y a un 55,2% de todos quienes habitan en la capital. El Minsal informó hoy que un gran número de comunas entrarán en confinamiento: Cerro Navia, Conchalí, La Cisterna, La Florida, La Granja, Lo Espejo, Lo Prado, Macul, Peñalolén, Renca, San Joaquín y San Miguel. Al mismo tiempo, Ñuñoa dejará la cuarentena a partir del jueves a las 22:00. En total serán 25 comunas de la RM y 32 a nivel país que estarán en confinamiento, en un momento que coincide con un alza de los casos: en las últimas 24 horas se diagnosticaron 1.032 nuevos contagios, por lo que los casos ahora suman 23.048 a nivel nacional. A su vez, los fallecidos llegaron a 281, esto significa una tasa de 15 víctimas fatales por cada millón de personas. Además de las nuevas comunas que entrarán en cuarentena, el gobierno anunció que se instalarán barreras sanitarias en los accesos que llevan desde la Región Metropolitana a Valparaíso y Viña del Mar. Esta medida comenzará a regir a partir del viernes a las 22:00.
