This season of MAFS has turned into a season dumpster babies gone wild. Between the emotional immaturity and emotional abuse there are very few people to root for this season! Chris and Shahidah tried their best to give Olajuwan the benefit of the doubt but Tanya knew he was trash and he showed how trash he was this week. It's unfortunate that too many of the couple really lack the maturity to be in a relationship when they have so much emotional baggage they need to handle. This goes back to the professionals too...how are they picking and matching folks who really should be in therapy not a marriage show! So deep, that I've decided to make it a three-parter. We look at how sexualization and objectification are defined and the effects they have on women and young girls. We follow it with two fascinating articles that shed even more light on the objectification of women and how we are all guilty of such behavior. Side note, although we're not entirely to blame as we're taught from a very early age, it's up to us to right the wrongs and be more aware of how our society and culture propagate these ideas.
