On this 4/20, we ran through a list of the top stoner movies of all-time. 

Happy 4/20!!! Thankfully, the weather is improving this week. Starting with temps in the 60's today and mid-80's by Wednesday. In the news this morning, a recall on Fords, the latest on the animal rights attempt to free beagles from a research lab in Wisconsin, a deadly shooting in Louisiana, and another shooting in Iowa near the University. In sports, we talked about the Brewers weekend against the Marlins, recapped the NBA & NHL Playoffs, looked at yesterday's NASCAR results, the Giants big trade this weekend, and Braylon Mullins returning to UCONN instead of trying to head to the NBA. We let you know what's on TV today/tonight and we also checked out a list of stoner movies for 4/20. Speaking of today's holiday, we also looked at some of the food deals that are available even if you're not celebrating, as well as some other stats & info on marijuana use in America. Elsewhere sports, the latest on the Dianna Russini/Mike Vrabel story as another female reporter gets fired, Vrabel won't be investigated by the NFL, and Dianna Russini apparently saved an old man & his dog after a car accident. Wild story from southern California as a hot air balloon had to make an emergency landing in someone's backyard. And the heroic principal from Oklahoma who subdued a would-be school shooter gets crowned Prom King by the students at his school. There's been a lot of amazing inventions over the years that have made driving a vehicle more comfortable. Power windows, blue tooth technology, remote starters…and now, there's something else on the horizon that could make things even better! Especially on those REALLY long drives. Did you see the hot dog costumes at the Cubs game over the weekend? Apparently, a woman celebrating her 50th birthday required her friends to all wear the costume to attend the game. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a guy stealing LEGO sets & returning the boxes with bags of pasta inside, a family in Pennsylvania that had FIVE deer break through their door and into their home, a weird insurance fraud scheme involving fake bear attacks, a frozen man in Russia is brought back to life, an extremely fast robot, and an inmate that got caught with a baggie of drugs up their ass…that they then tried to swallow.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It's 4-20 this week and we are counting down some of our favorite stoner movies in honor of the occasion with a fun little game to keep out lists interesting. This week we are joined once again by Jack Gonzalez and Jenny Helms who are all on board to share some of their favorites. At the top of the episode, we also discuss the possible overhaul of DC Entertainment after the Warner Bros. and Discovery merger as well as the lackluster box office debut of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.

Happy 420! As you all know, we are in the middle of a great re-awaking for one of the most beautiful, useful, and maligned plants in the history of our planet. I am talking (of course) about the Cannabis plant and our guest tonight is heavily involved in that re-awakening by helping to bring the majestic cannabis plant back to the acceptance and availability that it deserves. When I was raising a family, I did so in southern Maine…south Berwick to be exact and I drove up and down Route 236 and through Kittery A million times. And in all that time there was exactly ZERO  businesses that grew and/or sold cannabis and now…well now it is a booming Cannabis stronghold with well over a half dozen options for cannabis users & patients to choose from…its really exciting to see!
