Your mind―and therefore your body―can be abused by many things. At times there are hindrances to healing―things or conditions that are causing the sickness or affliction―and that must be dealt with before healing can take place permanently. This teaching covers several such conditions AND how to achieve healing by dealing with them. ________________________________________ HINDRANCES TO HEALING HOW TO OVERCOME THEM Your mind - and therefore your body - can be abused by many things. At times there are hindrances to healing: things or conditions that are causing the sickness or affliction, and that must be dealt with before healing can take place permanently. Things such as: ► Unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment [Mark 11:25-26] ► Envy and strife [James 3:16] ► Improper food, rest, sunshine, or exercise [Isaiah 30:15] ► Speaking evil of, or causing harm to, God’s ministers [1 Samuel 26:9] ► Involvement in the occult or in witchcraft [Deuteronomy 18:10-12] ► Association with religious cults [1 John 4:1-3 / 1 John 5:20] Whether sickness is caused by disobeying God through an unforgiving spirit, strife, or resentment … involvement in the occult … or association with religious cults … Jesus Christ is the answer! NOTE: For help with deliverance, consult the book, Healing Deliverance – Freedom from the Bondage of Satan, by Prince Handley. PROPER PRAYER Through prayer we can come to God and ask him to forgive us of all these things; we can also ask him to deliver us, if necessary! 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." In Psalm 50:15 we read, "Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me." PROPER PRAISE Praise is also an important element in healing and is definitely inter-connected with prayer and proper mental attitude. Praise lets God know you believe He will work in your situation. Learn to lift your hands up to God and praise Him several times a day, for as long as you want to. God lives in the praise of His people. “But You are holy, O You that inhabits the praises of Israel.” (Psalm 22:3) The anointing breaks the yoke. Since God lives in the praise of His people, there is an anointing present with true praise, which can break an “assigned” attack on the body, mind or spirit. “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” (Isaiah 10:27) Praise brings victory. King Jehoshaphat and the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem won a large battle utilizing praise. (Read 2 Chronicles Chapter 20, verses 1-30 in the Tanakh.) PROPER MENTAL ATTITUDE We see the importance of proper mental attitude in the life of Job. Job was afflicted by Satan with sore boils from his feet to his head. The devil destroyed Job’s wealth and killed his seven sons and three daughters and stole his health. Job’s experience was a rare, "once-in-the-Bible" case. It was allowed by God to prove that a certain man ("greatest of all the men in the East") would not curse God even if he lost everything, including his health. It shows that Satan is a "destroyer," who causes sickness and disease. It shows that God is a "healer," and that God calls sickness "captivity." Job was a just man; even God said so. His experience presents a question that lots of people ask: "Why?" NOTICE 7 THINGS ABOUT JOB'S CONDITION 1. Job’s case was unique; it was NOT an example! Don’t use it as an excuse to be sick. 2. Satan accused Job of serving God only because of God’s blessing, protection and help. 3. Satan is the one, the Bible says, who STOLE Job’s health, KILLED his children, and who DESTROYED his property. [Job, Chapters 1 and 2; John 10:10] 4. Job proved faithful in trial. Job did not sin with his lips or charge God foolishly. [Job 1:22 and 2:10] 5. The Bible calls Job’s sickness and his loss -- "captivity." [Job 42:10]. Jesus said, "If the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.” [John 8:36] 6. Job was healed! Because of proper mental attitude, Job prayed for his friends (who were not real friends); this was when God delivered Job. [Job 42:10] 7. "The Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before." … "The Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning." [Job 42:10-12]   Even though Job lived on the other side of the cross (that is, before Christ)―not having the advantages of Christ’s work and authority over Satan as we do―he was still healed through prayer and proper mental attitude. A proper mental attitude will cause you to have an instinctive reaction to sickness and ill-health: you will refuse it … knowing it does NOT belong to you! You will speak to it, saying, "Sickness, I resist you in the name of Jesus Christ by whose stripes I am healed." Notice two things; you resisted the sickness by: 1) speaking to it; and, 2) using Scripture (the Word of God). The Holy Bible says in James 4:7, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." In Matthew 4:11, we see how Jesus resisted Satan. He did it the same way you are to do it: with the Word of God. Each time Jesus spoke to the devil, Jesus said, "It is written …"   PROPER PHYSICAL PRACTICE Proper nutrition, rest, sunshine, and exercise are all beneficial to a proper mental attitude and maintenance of good health.   Scriptural fasting and honoring the Lord’s Day or Sabbath contribute, also, to a proper mental attitude; and are laws of God with built-in bonuses of health and blessing. Read Isaiah Chapter 58. “Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; You will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.” (Isaiah 58:8-9) “If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the LORD’s holy day honorable, then you will find your joy in the LORD, and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land ...” (Isaiah 58:13-14) You can be healed … walk in health … and help others to do the same. “You shall come to your grave in a full age, like a shock of corn comes in its season.” (Job 5:26-27). Also, explaining HOW the Gifts of the Holy Spirit work so people will know that God wants to help them, and do the miraculous in their lives. ________________________________________ MIRACLES IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS STUDENTS BEING HEALED   I want to talk to you today about miracles in educational institutions in the USA … more specifically, “Miracles in the Public School System.” There was a period of time where I was being invited to speak at lots of public high schools in the USA (as well as other countries). In the USA the drug situation was so bad in the high schools that the schools were actually calling me and asking me to come share with their students. I remember at all these high schools (even the ones I ministered at overseas)―every one of them―God would always give me a Word of Knowledge. Now, a Word of Knowledge is one of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit where God shows you a situation about a person, or about a situation or condition concerning a person (or group of people). “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.” (1 Corinthians 12:7-11)   Actually, the Word of Knowledge can be a dual gift when associated with the Word of Wisdom. The Word of Knowledge is where the Holy Spirit reveals to you knowledge about a person or a situation or thing. And it's never to embarrass anyone, but it's to show people that God knows exactly what's going on―or what's involved in their life―so they will have confidence that God can help them … and that He wants to help them. If the Word of Knowledge operates in conjunction with the Word of Wisdom, then they operate as “dual” gifts. The Word of Knowledge might be provided (spoken) through one person … and the Word of Knowledge through another person. However, they may both be delivered (spoken) by the same person. But the Word of Wisdom informs a person WHAT TO DO in the particular situation. Wisdom is knowledge in action. It tells the person what to do in that situation to alleviate it, to bring deliverance, to bring them in alignment to God's will.   To learn more about ALL of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and how they operate ... read my book, How To Receive God's Power with Gifts of the Spirit   In one large public high school in California I was speaking in the Science Auditorium. It was a bowl shape auditorium, similar to an amphitheatre. And as I looked up to the right, I saw a young girl that God gave me a word of knowledge concerning: it was a word for her, a specific condition―physical ailment―in her body (that nobody would have known except God). She was about 17, and I called her down to the front where I was speaking. She immediately told me, “I don't believe in God or Jesus.” She told me that she hated Jesus. But anyway, I told her, “Well, that's all right. Jesus loves you. And I love you … and God is going to do a miracle for you today.” God gave me a Word of Knowledge about this girl, a situation in her life. I don't remember the specifics, but it was a medical condition―a physical condition in her body―and God instantly touched her, healed her, gave her a miracle! She received Jesus into our life right then. I received a phone call later that day from one of the campus Christian leaders who told me that this girl had been the biggest “Bad Mouth” of the Lord on that campus. She used to go around just telling everybody how she hated the Lord. How the Lord was no good … and just mouthing off bad things about God. But that day, after God did that MIRACLE for her and the Holy Spirit gift of the Word of Knowledge operated in her life―after Jesus touched her―she was going all over campus telling students about Jesus and His love for her ... and His love for them. It's kind of ironic. I also received a call after going to that public high school from a Pastor. He was a denominational Pastor, and he told me, “You know, there's a Christian group on that campus and they're mad that you've been there.” He said they had been working there for years to try to reach students for the Lord. And he told me, “You come in and all this stuff happens.” And I thought “stuff?” You mean people coming to know the Lord … people hearing about the Lord ... people receiving miracles and having their lives changed? So anyway, it wasn't a week later that I received a call from another public High School and they wanted me to come talk to their students. The drug situation was so bad in the high schools. Right before I went to go preach at that high school―it was about an hour drive―I picked up the phone and I called the denominational Pastor; and I said, “You know, I just received another request to come talk at another high school. I just wanted to check with you to see if it was okay to heal on the sabbath.” Now, it wasn't the sabbath, but the denominational Pastor got the idea, and he never bothered me again. Remember … the biggest opposition to Jesus' life and miracles was from the religious crowd: the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the scribes. Jesus healed people right in front of them; Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in the law, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?”   “Now if a boy can be circumcised on Shabbat so that the law of Moshe may not be broken, why are you angry with me for healing a man’s whole body on Shabbat?” - Yeshua, Messiah of Israel / Brit Chadashah: Yochanan (John) 7:23   I remember one of the public high schools I was at―I mentioned it briefly on a previous podcast―the vice principal of the high school was in the group where I was ministering to the students. I didn't know then, but I found out later he had come as a skeptic. As I was ministering to the students, the Holy Spirit spoke to me said, “Tell the students about Warren Meisenbach, who had been a hunchback for 15 years and was healed miraculously at Hughes aircraft in the Engineering Section.” Right away, a girl who was one of the students said, “Oh, that's my daddy you're talking about. Let me tell you the rest of the story.” She said, “When my daddy came home, my mom was right near the door when he came in and when she looked at my father, he was smiling. He was so happy. He had met Jesus and he had no more pain after 15 years and he was standing up straight, and my mother and I―the whole family―have come to know the Lord.” The Spirit of God fell on that group of students and I started laying hands on them. I went over and laid hands on the Vice-Principal, while I was praying in tongues (in the Holy Spirit's language). God began to do MIRACLES. Later on, somebody called me from the school, and told me that the Vice-Principal had come as a skeptic, but now “He is a believer in Jesus.” My friend, God does miracles in business, in engineering, in marketing, in education. Let the Holy Spirit have his way. Believe what God says. Believe the Bible. The Bible says, “You have not because you ask not.” Ask God for what you need. Ask God to help you. Ask God to do the MIRACLES you need in life. Now that's preconditioned on the fact that you want to live for God. I didn't say you're perfect. I said, “You want to live for God.” That's why Yeshua (Jesus) came to earth. He came because you're not perfect and I'm not perfect. He came to pay for our imperfections. He came to pay for our sins so that we could have His life in us when we believe upon Him ... and then He helps us to live for God. Today if you want to have “right standing” in Heaven―that's what “righteousness means―if you want to be a citizen of heaven with full rights before God, realize that Jesus―the Messiah of Israel―took your sins upon Him on the cross-stake … and in exchange, He gives you His righteousness when you believe upon Him. He took your sins and gave you his righteousness. If you want to receive that wonderful forgiveness today, pray and ask Messiah Jesus to come into your life. Just PRAY this prayer:   “Lord Jesus, please forgive my sins. Come into my life … and save me. Give me your Spirit to live inside me, and help me to live for you here on Earth … and take me to Heaven when I die. In your Name I pray. Amen.”   He will give you His Spirit to help you and lead you. Then thank Him for saving you and taking your sins and judgment upon Himself! You're forgiven. In Psalm 32, King David, describes the blessedness of the person whose sins are forgiven and wiped out, and who is in “right standing” before God. David was an adulterer. He was a murderer, and yet he repented before God and knew the joy of forgiveness. My friend, I don't care what you've done, God loves you today, and He sent His only Son to die in your place, so that you could be forgiven … and have a new start, with “right standing” as a Citizen of Heaven. God will adopt YOU … and bless you … if you will ask Him. Miracles, real MIRACLES are yours … just like the High School girl who hated God, but found His love and forgiveness. Also, encouragement for YOU to believe the LORD Yeshua (Jesus) to perform great and mighty MIRACLES of HEALING in your life … or at your workplace. ________________________________________ HEALING MIRACLES IN INDUSTRY MARKETPLACE HEALING MIRACLES I want to talk to you today about miracles of healing in industry―the workplace―or, the marketplace. I mentioned on a previous podcast titled “Ideas and Associates” that one of the members on my Board of Directors was a man named Magdi Girgis (Mike Girgis) who was from Egypt, and his father was the third wealthiest man in Egypt. His father actually had more power politically than Gamal Abdel Nasser did when Nasser was President. My friend Mike paid to be smuggled out of Egypt and through Syria by the Druze; and then finally got out of Syria to the United States. He was on the blacklist in Egypt, allegedly for trying to Christianize the nation. In other words, he loved Jesus. Mike ultimately worked in the Engineering Department at Hughes Aircraft. Several of the men that I knew who worked there attended Bible studies every morning and at Noon lunch hour. There was a real awakening at the Hughes Aircraft, Fullerton plant as well as the Hughes division near the Los Angeles Airport (LAX). They would meet early before they went to work at eight in the morning and hold Bible Studies in the engineering office. They had Bible studies in the morning before work and also at lunchtime. One of the brothers that I knew in that group was a prophet―he was a real man of God―a real prophet of God. His little daughter was born with club feet. I think when the girl was around seven years of age, Jack took his daughter to a shoe store and told the salesman he wanted to buy a pair of shoes for his daughter. Well … the salesman looked at the girls feet―club feet―and saw they were turned in. He said, “We don't sell corrective shoes here.” And Jack said to the salesman, “That's okay. Jesus is going to heal her.” So he told him what size shoes he wanted for his daughter. So the salesman pulled the shoes from the shelf and got ready to package them up so the father could take the shoes home. He said, “No, I want to put them on her now. Jesus is going to heal her now.” And the salesman was really flabbergasted. He couldn't believe that God still does miracles today. So Jack takes the shoes over to his daughter, sits the little girl down, and prays over her; and all of a sudden one of the feet straightens right out … then other foot went right into position. They became normal in position and alignment. Jack put the shoes on his little daughter and they walked out of the shoe store. That's the kind of MIRACLES that happened regularly with the Believers at Hughes Aircraft. They invited me into minister there; and the second time I went to to preach at Hughes Aircraft in Fullerton, the Lord had already been working―not only in the Engineering Department―but out in the factory. This second time there was standing room only as I was ministering. During one of the Noon prayer meetings, a fellow named Walter Meisenbach came up to my friends and said to them, “What is this 'Born-Again' stuff you guys keep talking about?” (Just a little background here) … Walter had been a hunchback for 15 years. He was in serious pain every day―all the time―continually. So my friends shared the good news of Messiah Jesus with him; and Walter received Jesus as his Messiah and was 'Born-Again' right there in the Noon time Bible study. Then they laid their hands on Walter and asked the Lord Jesus to heal Walter … to deliver Walter from being a hunch back from this bent over condition he had had for 15 years. Instantly they heard “pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop.” They could hear the vertebrae in Walter's spine popping. They could hear it crack. Walter straightens right up and has a perfectly normal spine. When Walter goes home that night, his wife actually was near the door when he came in … and she looked at him and saw the shine on his face: he was smiling! Not only was Walter joyous because he had met Jesus―but he was joyous because he was no longer carrying around that pain he had suffered with for 15 years―plus he was standing straight up. Well, this had a tremendous effect on the whole family. It was some time later, a year or two, that I was invited to preach in a High School in Orange County, California. There were so many drug problems in the public schools that I had been invited by several public schools to come minister to the students. They wanted―and needed―help. They didn't even care if it was Jesus that helped them! No prayer or Bible study allowed in schools, but please send Jesus. We need help. While I was ministering in one of the high schools―I didn't know who was there―but I mentioned about Walter Meisenbach. I had felt impressed by the LORD to talk about Walter Meisenbach. And one of the girls spoke up and said, “Oh, that's my daddy. Let me tell you the rest of the story.” And she began to tell what happened at the home when her father came home from work right after his healing. These were some of the kind of MIRACLES that happened with the Believers at Hughes Aircraft … where people would just get together and pray and read the Bible. Men and women, engineers, secretaries, factory workers, reading the word of God, worshiping God, and allowing the Holy Spirit to come into their midst as the Messiah Jesus would do MIRACLES. REMEMBER The Holy Spirit is God's agent on Earth to supply the resurrection power of Yeshua. That's all it takes, my friend. Don't make it too hard. Miracles in industry … miracles in marketing ... miracles in business ... miracles in education! God even does MIRACLES in Church and Synagogue … anywhere. My friend, God said in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty (unsearchable) things you do not know." I trust this message has helped you today. The story AN OUTPOST OF P[ROGRESS deals with two European men, named Kayerts and Carlier, who are assigned to a trading post in a remote part of the African Jungle. There they take part in ivory trading, hoping to financially benefit the company as well as themselves. With no specific tasks or important things to be done, they both become increasingly isolated and demoralized as time goes by. At one point in the story, the native Makola, serving as Kayerts's and Carlier's bookkeeper, initiates an exchange of slaves for ivory. Initially Kayerts and Carlier are stunned and scandalized by the idea, yet eventually they accept the deal and aid Makola for his huge profit. Both men are plagued by disease and grow very weak physically towards the end of the story. Finally, a seemingly trivial matter – sugar – sparks an irrational, uncontrolled and violent conflict between them, and ends tragically. Symbolocally- their plight in this story reflects that of the downfall of British colonialism- and that’s what makes this story so powerful. Also, we will explain HOW to receive YOUR healing. You must KNOW: that healing belongs to YOU … and that YOU can be healed and walk in health. ________________________________________ HEALING IS GOD'S GIFT WHY HEALING BELONGS TO YOU The dictionary defines "disease" as: 1) any departure from a state of health; 2) a disordered condition of mind or body marked by definite symptoms. To be at "ease" is to be FREE from pain or any discomfort, including anxiety and stress. "Dis-ease" is the opposite. In the Holy Bible, God promised MORE than healing for his people. He promised DIVINE HEALTH: freedom from disease! "If you will carefully listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and will give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon you … for I am the LORD that heals you." [Torah: Exodus 15:26] Notice the last phrase: "I am the LORD that heals you." Literally, the Hebrew language is saying, "I am Jehovah Rapha (The LORD, your physician)." It is wonderful to be able to claim God’s promises for divine healing, but it is even better to walk in divine HEALTH: not needing to be healed! Exodus 23:25 says, "And you shall serve the LORD your God and he shall bless your bread, and your water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of you." When sickness is "away" from you, then you have HEALTH. Thank God, it is His will for YOU to walk in divine health just as much as it is for your soul to be saved. In 3 John, verse 2, (a passage of scripture which is written to believers in Messiah Jesus) the Holy Bible says: "Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper AND BE IN HEALTH, even as your soul prospers." Psalm 103 gives us a powerful promise from God to any and ALL who may be suffering from disease: spiritual, physical, or mental. "Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities (or sins); who heals all your diseases." [Psalm 103:1-3] God’s nature never changes. The same healing nature of God that was revealed in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible is revealed in the New Testament. His nature is the same today as it was yesterday. In the Old Testament, God said, "For I am the LORD, I change not." In the New Testament we read, "Jesus, the Messiah, the same yesterday, and today, and forever." [Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8] Jesus displayed the healing nature of God, Jesus said, "He that has seen me has seen the Father." [John 14:9] Jesus never refused healing to anyone! Jesus’ nature is God’s nature. He never refused healing to anyone. Jesus is God! "And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel [good news] of the kingdom, and healing every disease among the people." [Matthew 9:35] Jesus came to earth to heal - to restore to health: spiritually, physically, and mentally. He came to "buy" back what Adam, the first man who ever lived, lost. In the Garden of Eden, Adam sinned against God by disobeying him. God had commanded Adam: "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it; for in the day you shall eat of it you shall surely die." [Genesis 2:16-17] Satan, the devil, lied to Eve, Adam’s wife, saying, "You shall not surely die." But Eve, like many people today, did not realize that REAL death is "spiritual.” Physical death (when your body dies) is merely a result of "spiritual" death. To be spiritually dead does not mean you do not exist; it simply means you exist, but that you are SEPARATED from God: "joined" to Satan! From one act of disobedience by Adam, sin entered into the world, so that spiritual death passed through the bloodline to ALL men … resulting in physical death. "Wherefore, as by one man [Adam] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; so death passed upon ALL men, for all have sinned." [Romans 5:12] This "spiritual" death―SEPARATION FROM GOD―which produced physical sickness and disease, and the death of the body, HAD TO BE HEALED! This is why God sent his only Son, Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), to earth. "For as by one man’s [Adam's] disobedience many were made sinners, so by the OBEDIENCE of one [Messiah Yeshua] shall many be made righteous." [Romans 5:19] In Isaiah Chapter 53 we see just what Jesus did … why he came to earth! "Surely he has borne our sicknesses and diseases, and carried [away] our pains; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.” [Verse 4] But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. [Verse 5] All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way, and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity [or, sin] of us all." [Verse 6] What Isaiah prophesied in the Old Testament was fulfilled 750 years later by the Messiah of Israel, Yeshua Ha Mashiach [Jesus the "Christ", or the "Anointed One"]. He bore our sicknesses and diseases. He carried away our pains. He was wounded and bruised for our sin; the LORD laid on him the sin of us all. And with his stripes we are healed. In some Bibles Isaiah 53:4 reads: "Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows.” However, the original Hebrew (the original language of the Hebrew Scriptures) for the words "grief" and "sorrow" is "choli" and "macob", respectively. "Choli" means "sickness and disease". "Macob" means "pain" (acute pain; intense suffering: mental or physical). To prove that Isaiah meant in this passage that healing would be included in Messiah’s work for us, we need only to consult the New Testament record of Jesus’ ministry in Matthew Chapter 8, verses 16-17: "When the evening was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils; and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed ALL that were sick. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, ‘Himself [Jesus the Messiah] took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses’." Jesus fulfilled what Isaiah the prophet said 750 years before: He bore our sicknesses and diseases. He carried away our pains. With his stripes WE ARE HEALED. Jesus’ body and mind took punishment for us … his blood paid for our sins. His body was beaten, wounded and bruised (even before he was crucified) and then he was nailed to the wooden cross … FOR OUR HEALING: spiritual, physical, and mental! Oppression - both mental and physical - is included in Messiah’s work for us. Messiah was driven; he was abased and looked down upon. Isaiah 53:7 says, "He was oppressed and he was afflicted …" In Isaiah 53:4, where it reads, " … he carried our ‘pains’ …” the literal Hebrew meaning is "acute pain; intense suffering: MENTAL or PHYSICAL." What Jesus did FOR you, you don’t have to do! Messiah Jesus healed the separation between God and man through his work FOR US, and therefore ended Satan’s dominion over ALL who would trust in Him! "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might DESTROY the works of the devil." [1 Yochanan (John) 3:8] Jesus "carried" sickness, sin, disease, poverty, and oppression―the works of the devil (Satan)―FOR YOU. Now you don’t have to carry them any longer. They do NOT belong to the believer in Christ! WHAT JESUS DID FOR YOU YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO! Now that you know that healing is God's gift—and that healing belongs to YOU—reach up by faith and receive what you need from God. Just pray this prayer: “Father in Heaven, I need healing. I ask for you to heal me. I want healing and health for my body, my mind and my spirit. I invite your Son, Messiah Jesus, to take over my whole being. Please save me and heal me. Help me to live for you here on Earth, and take me to Heaven when I die. The Adventures of Philip Marlowe was a radio series featuring writer Raymond Chandler's private eye, Philip Marlowe, (Bogart's character in The Maltese Falcon). Philip Marlowe.   The program differed from most others in its genre: in that It was a more hard-boiled program than many of the other private detective shows of the time, containing few quips or quaint characters. The program first aired 17 June 1947 on NBC radio under the title The New Adventures of Philip Marlowe, with Van Heflin playing Marlowe.  In 1948, the series moved to CBS, where it was called The Adventure of Philip Marlowe, with Gerald Mohr playing Marlowe.   By 1949, it had the largest audience in radio.  The CBS version ran for 114 episodes. That series ran 26 September 1948 - 29 September 1950. The Australian Waler horse is known for its stamina and courage as well as its ability to perform in the worst of conditions. Over 130,000 Waler horses were deployed in the Middle East campaigns and during that time earned the respect and admiration of the Light Horse Troopers who rode them into history at Beersheba and other battles.  They were also used by Merrill's Marauders in the treacherous New Guinea and Burma campaigns in WWII, again earning respect for their toughness and endurance.  This story is a tribute to the breed. In Part 4 Smith becomes involved in the war against the Turks as Christians battle Turks in Hungary and Transylvania to regain their cities and land. In part one we cover the story of Robert LeRoy Parker (Butch Cassidy), Henry Alonzo Longabaugh (The Sundance Kid), and Ethel/Etta Place, the wife (we think) of Longabaugh who participated in a train robbery with them and accompanied them to Chile, where she lived with them for three years. It has been said that Butch and Sundance were killed in a shootout with soldiers in South America- but there are many conflicting reports, and DNA has not been found to prove that out.  Etta, whose real identity has never been proved, returned to San Francisco before their shootout and her whereabouts have never been ascertained, although there are a number of possible leads. The mystery of all three is the biggest unsolved mystery of the Old West.  The Whistler was an American radio drama that aired from 1942 to 1955.  Each episode of The Whistler began with the sound of footsteps and a person whistling    A character known only as the Whistler was the host and narrator of the tales, which focused on crime and fate. He often commented directly upon the action in the manner of a Greek chorus taunting the characters, guilty or innocent, from an omniscient perspective. The stories followed a formula in which a person's criminal acts were typically undone either by an overlooked but important detail or by the criminal's own stupidity. The main character, Johnny Dollar, is an insurance fraud investigator who gets assigned all kinds of jobs across the US. The writing, sound effects, acting- are all top notch. The Adventures of Philip Marlowe was a radio series featuring writer Raymond Chandler's private eye, Philip Marlowe, (Bogart's character in The Maltese Falcon). Philip Marlowe.   The program differed from most others in its genre: in that It was a more hard-boiled program than many of the other private detective shows of the time, containing few quips or quaint characters. The program first aired 17 June 1947 on NBC radio under the title The New Adventures of Philip Marlowe, with Van Heflin playing Marlowe.  In 1948, the series moved to CBS, where it was called The Adventure of Philip Marlowe, with Gerald Mohr playing Marlowe.   By 1949, it had the largest audience in radio.  The CBS version ran for 114 episodes. That series ran 26 September 1948 - 29 September 1950.
