Mark and Nicole welcomed the most interesting person in the world Sin Twisted and horror director Joe Castro to the lighter side of the dark side for a terrific night of chatting about everything from sex and violence to very deep conversation. Sin is back in LA after a hiatus and regaled Mark and Nicole all about what goes on at the Foot night parties and swingers' clubs she works at. She extolled the virtues of having a split tongue and she and Nicole discussed some unusual parts of a man that they are attracted to. Sin is still as flexible as ever as she has no cartilage and can bend her body in all sorts of unnatural and arousing positions and used the pandemic to sew and give away masks to people who wouldn't otherwise have access and raise awareness for Native Americans and indigenous people as well as start a virtual strip club community. Joe started the show by bringing out 2 severed heads (including one of Bai Ling) from recent movies he has worked on, he described the profits and cult following he has developed from his Terror Toons horror franchise, which is now at Terror Toons 4, he also tells of breaking the Guinness World Record for the most kills in a slasher movie with his film Summer of Massacre and talks about his hard up ringing in Texas as a child realizing he was gay at 2 years old, but with the help of cousins, Boy George and his husband Steven is now part of a Hollywood power couple and has a movie The Barn 2 which is #2 just behind Terrifier 2 on the Screambox top 10 Get some Dark Mark Show gear Go to www.teepublic.com/user/dms1 for shirts, mugs, phone/laptop covers, masks and more! On this edition of Parallax Views, we're joined by legendary 80s and 90s "Scream Queen" Brinke Stevens for the first in our spooky season-themed shows for Halloween! Known for her roles in such cult classics as Slumber Party Massacre, Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama, Grandmother's House, Slave Girls from Beyond Infinity, Nightmare Sisters, Haunting Fear, Bad Girls from Mars, and Teenage Exorcist among countless others, Brinke is making going from acting to directing in the latest Full Moon Features movie Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama 2. A long-awaited sequel to a true 80s, low-budget, cult horror-comedy classic, Brinke and I discuss that upcoming feature, due for release on streaming in November, as well as her career more generally. Among the topics we cover: - Brinke's journey from marine biology research to modeling and eventually working as an extra in movies like All the Marbles before becoming a full-fledged "Scream Queen" actress - Horror-comedies and the history of the "Scream Queen" era during the days of the VHS boom; Brinke, Linnea Quigley, and Michelle Bauer as the era's "Scream Queen" trio - Working with director's like Brian De Palma (in Body Double), Rob Reiner (in This is Spinal Tap), Fred Olen Ray, Jim Wynorski, and David DeCoteau - Stories behind films like Niko Mastorakis' underrated thriller Grandmother's House, in which Brinke had to rely solely on physical acting because her character had no dialogue, and Witchhouse 3, which Brinke describes as one of her more difficult experiences with make-up effects - The story behind Teenage Exorcist, a 90s horror comedy that Brinke Stevens both wrote and starred in alongside Fred Olen Ray regular Jay Richardson and nerdy character actor Eddie Deezen (Grease; the voice Mandark in Dexter's Lab and Know It All in Polar Express); the story of the unmade killer clown movie Tears of the Clown that Brinke wrote and would've starred Eddie Deezen - Shooting films on tight budgets and extremely short schedules - The enduring appeal of the original David DeCoteau's Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama, which was a successful VHS rental before becoming a staple on the USA Network's Up All Night with Rhonda Shear - Working on nude scenes, sex appeal in the 80s cult classics Brinke appeared in, and Full Moon Features spotlighting female directors in the 21st century - Brinke's upcoming directorial effort in Joe Castro's Terror Toons 4 and how Brinke met Joe, who is an underrated special effects artist - What fans can expect from Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama 2, which'll focus on another evil killer imp just like the original movie; Fast Times at Ridgemont High actress Kelli Maroney's key role in the movie as the sister of Linnea Quigley's punk character Spider from the first one; her experience directing the movie and how her acting has played a role in her directing style - How Brinke met Ronald Reagan - The longevity of Brinke's career (she has over 200 credit!)

In a quiet suburban neighborhood, two sisters are about to experience the dark and sinister world of Terror Toons. Candy and Cindy's parents have traveled out of town for the weekend leaving the two sisters home alone. Cindy receives a mysterious package in the mail with a free DVD cartoon sent to her by the Devil himself.
A girl gets a DVD entitled Terror Toons for her birthday. Meanwhile, "cartoon" characters Hansel and Gretel wander into the house of a witch who poisons them, but instead of dying, they transform into an ugly gigantic-headed psycho and a giant rat, respectively. After the girl plays the DVD, Hansel and Gretel are sucked into the real world through her TV and wreak havoc.
This week Doug and Jamie reviewed a sequel of the cult horror flick "Terror Toons" from the amazing mind of Joe Castro. Doug and Jamie have never seen and will never review a movie like this ever again. The movie had many deaths, a grandma who resembled Sam Elliot, tiny RC cars, and a Giant Boob that left the guys feeling like they were on drugs! Find this movie and the first 2 all on Amazon Prime for Free. Follow us on all social media @sequelsonly Next week's interview is with Producer and Singer Corinne Rodriguez Montoya who was a featured extra in Die Hard 2 and has a great story about Director Renny Harlin. Next movie we are reviewing is Die Hard 2 starring Bruce Willis and William Sadler
We usually try to get either a director, writer, actor, producer, or special effects for the sequel that we are covering. Well, this week's guest did every single one of those jobs for our next film, "Terror Toons 3." Joe Castro grew up in a small town where he fell in love with monster movies at a young age. It was from a combination of a magazine he bought about monsters and from the time his dad showed him a Godzilla movie. Joe had the support from his family to support his dreams of making movies by buying him a video camera when they cost as much a car! He took risks and reached out to horror legend Tom Savini for help on special effects and the rest is history. He has some amazing stories from his journey in Hollywood and you are going to love him. It's been a while since the last time we got to fawn over Phil Fondacaro's charm, so Brian did us the favor of picking THE CREEPS (1997), also known by the incredibly insensitive alternate title DEFORMED MONSTERS! Is this the worst acting we've ever seen on Horror Movie Night? Matt thinks so, but he also seems to forget about TERROR TOONS and DRIVE THRU... Watch as diminutive versions of the Universal Monsters terrorize people who took half of an acting class, possibly while drunk or half asleep. It's kind of like watching THE MONSTER SQUAD in the wrong aspect ratio. Or nothing like that at all, we can't tell anymore. This podcast is powered by Pinecast.
