Drop us a note about the podcast. Paul stands in chains, looks a king in the eye, and asks a question that still corner-backs our excuses: “Do you believe?” We start with Acts 26 and Paul's defense before Agrippa, including the moment Festus calls him insane and Paul calmly answers with what he calls “the sober truth.” That exchange isn't just history. It's a mirror for anyone trying to live a Christian faith with clarity when the culture treats conviction like a disorder. From there, we ground it where faith gets tested first: at home. We read Ephesians 5:22–33 and talk straight about marriage as covenant, the “one flesh” union, and why sacrificial love and real respect are not optional add-ons. We connect the health of marriage and family to the health of a nation, because a collapsing foundation always shows up in daily life long before it shows up on a headline. We also weave in Psalm 6, Proverbs 18 on the power of the tongue, a Medal of Honor remembrance, and quotes that frame Scripture as a lighthouse for a free people. The argument is simple and urgent: Bible literacy matters, and when we stop reading the Word of God, it becomes easier to mislead, deceive, and mentally enslave a society. If you care about Christian discipleship, marriage advice rooted in the Bible, and the link between the gospel of Jesus Christ and freedom, you'll find plenty to wrestle with here.Subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review if the show helps you stay anchored. Welcome back to the Gnar Couch Podshow, where mountain bike conversation, industry insight, and complete adult supervision failure all collide like a guy casing a jump he definitely told everyone he had. This week, we've got Jason Moeschler on the couch. Jason is the CEO of Evil Bikes, a former pro rider, and one of those rare bike-industry people who actually knows what he's talking about, which immediately makes him suspicious around here. We get into Evil Bikes, what it's like running a small but legendary mountain bike brand, the weird state of the bike industry, racing, product development, Bellingham bike culture, and how a real brand survives when the market is acting like a drunk guy trying to explain suspension kinematics at 1:00 a.m. Of course, because this is Gnar Couch, we also wander through several completely unnecessary side quests, laugh at things responsible adults probably shouldn't laugh at, and prove once again that “bike podcast” is a very loose term. Jason manages to bring actual experience, knowledge, and perspective, while the rest of us do our best to drag the show back into the gutter where it belongs. Topics include: Evil Bikes and what makes the brand different Jason's racing and bike-industry background The business side of mountain biking Product development, bike design, and what riders actually care about The current state of the bike industry Bellingham, bike culture, and building a real mountain bike company Gnar Couch derailments, dumb questions, and enough laughing to damage an office chair If you came here for a clean, professional mountain bike interview, that was adorable. If you came here for real bike talk mixed with bad decisions, low standards, and a guest who somehow survived the whole thing, welcome home. Subscribe, like, leave a comment, and tell us which Evil bike would make you a better rider even though we both know the bike isn't the problem. It's News Day Tuesday on The Majority Report. On today's program: David Dayen, executive editor of The American Prospect and co-host of the Organized Money podcast, joins us in the studio for the free half. MS NOW reporter Jacob Soboroff takes a tour of the L.A. County Ballot Processing Center in the City of Industry to try and dispel the conspiracy theories of voter fraud pushed by Trump, Spencer Pratt and others. On CNN, Harry Enten explains why it makes no sense for Democrats to rig the election for Nithya Raman. Karen Bass' polling numbers show her leading Pratt by 18 points and losing to Raman by four points. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson says he cannot provide evidence of election tampering in California, but he knows it "stinks to high heaven". As the screwworm infestation spreads among American livestock, it has become clear that this is the result of DOGE and cuts made by the Trump administration. This assessment is backed by the Texas Republican Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller and former first-term Trump staffer and rancher Catharine O'Neill Gillihan. Gilihan's ranch Meriwether Farms posts on X advice for managing screwworm while outright blaming Trump for not moving fast enough in the last 15 months to address this crisis. Josh Orton, President of Demand Justice and former senior adviser to Bernie Sanders, joins the show to discuss his work for court reformation. All that and more. Michael Wolff joins Joanna Coles to analyze a White House increasingly defined by self-inflicted constraint. At the center is the escalating Hormuz crisis, where Trump's aggressive posture collides with the realities of this critical global chokepoint and the strategic blowback it's incurring. Which comes as MAGA coalition fractures widen: Tucker Carlson breaks publicly over foreign policy, RFK Jr. stumbles through repeated hearings while defending unpopular anti-vax positions, and key officials scramble to distance themselves from decisions they helped shape. The throughline is an administration in which impulse destroys strategy, and in which Trump's own style of decision-making increasingly functions less as power and more as a self laid trap. Moment of Clarity - Backstage of Redacted Tonight with Lee Camp
On this episode of Unredacted Tonight, comedian Lee Camp breaks down a heated interview between Tucker Carlson and former Arkansas governor and U.S. ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. The conversation quickly turns tense as Carlson challenges Huckabee on religion, geopolitics, and the arguments used to justify modern policies in the Middle East. Lee Camp analyzes the exchange, highlighting the contradictions, rhetorical tactics, and the broader political narratives shaping the debate. The show also explores the complex history behind the creation of Israel in 1948, the role of religion in modern geopolitics, and how discussions about national identity, sovereignty, and international law often unfold in political media. Lee Camp dissects key moments from the Carlson–Huckabee interview and examines how different commentators frame questions about Israel, U.S. foreign policy, and the ongoing conflict in the region. In the second half of the episode, Unredacted Tonight shifts focus to rising tensions involving the United States and Iran. Lee Camp explains how global energy markets, the petrodollar system, and international trade routes influence geopolitical strategy. The segment explores how oil markets, global reserve currencies, and economic competition with China shape major foreign policy decisions—topics that rarely get explained in depth on mainstream media. If you're interested in political satire, media analysis, and deeper discussions about global power structures, this episode of Unredacted Tonight with Lee Camp delivers sharp commentary and context you won't hear elsewhere. Welcome Philly-native Tom Kinka! Tom is currently the touring drummer for up-and-coming country artist Lecade. Growing up in a music-heavy family shaped by Rock Band, Blink-182, and country music in his mom's car, Tom's passion for music and the drums was developed at an early age. Tom shares how a serious car accident and coma at 17 sharpened his focus on music, leading to a fearless, “persistence and idiocy” approach. He discusses leaving a jazz program at Temple for media production, navigating Philly's DIY pop-punk scene, moving to Nashville during COVID, learning country on the fly for Broadway, seeking lessons directly from his heroes like Josh Manuel and Luke Holland, and landing the Lecade gig—plus touring highlights, onstage gear fails, evolving drum setups, and his obsession with stick tricks and community. Marking the first anniversary of Trump's presidency, the White House released a statement, “365 Wins in 365 Days,” celebrating the success and prosperity that Donald Trump has brought to the nation. To reflect on Trump's first year back in the White House, host Allen Ruff is joined by journalist Chris Walker, who says that the President has certainly transformed things but for the worse. Walker says that he's most concerned about the rising authoritarianism of the administration and how Republicans in Congress seem to be OK with this. We have limited checks in terms of the judiciary, and no checks in the legislature, says Walker. Additionally, Trump is increasingly transparent about his intentions of being a dictator and desire to cancel the midterm elections. They also talk about the terror that ICE is bringing to Minneapolis, the general strike called by Rep. Jaime Raskin of Maryland, the resurgence of measles outbreaks under RFK, and Trump's use of the term “environmental insurrectionists.” While it has been common in the past for elected officials to defend law enforcement, Walker notes that now ICE's victims are being cast as “domestic terrorists” and described as “readying for a massacre” against DHS without any proof. Chris Walker is a news writer at Truthout, based in Madison, Wisconsin. Focusing on both national and local topics since the early 2000s, he has produced thousands of articles analyzing the issues of the day and their impact on people. He can be found on most social media platforms under the handle @thatchriswalker. Featured image of Donald Trump via Picryl. Did you enjoy this story? For four (plus) years, the USA descended into clear insanity. The Rule of Law has been consistently undermined since long before that. COVID tyranny was followed up by the spectacle of a senile imposter and a regime that was so far gone that ‘wokeness’ demanded the blind to even be incapable of discerning a man from a woman, much less right from wrong. And then, finally, the pendulum seemed to be to swing back in the opposite direction. The election fraud, while almost overwhelming, proved insufficient to overcome the backlash against Idiocy on Parade. And much has been reversed. At least temporarily. But not a single indictment, much less prosecution for treason, has happened. Now the Statue of Limitations for many of the obvious crimes associated with the J6 Fedsurrection has been allowed to pass, to no real effect, and the Somali-land Minnesota Fraud-o-rama seems to have given way to the long-anticipated “We NEED Another George Floyd – NOW” riot parade. And “AI” seems capable of manipulating information, and perhaps even Truth, like never before. But at least we have been warned. Prepare for War

Self-hatred is characterized by a critical voice that goes beyond constructive evaluation. It operates visibly and invisibly and can be transmitted between generations. It doesn't work to try to paste self-love on top of self-hatred. There's a spiritual idea that the universe, including negative manifestation, exists for God's entertainment. Forms of self-hatred may involve high achievement, romantic masochism, shyness, imposter syndrome, persistent anxiety, perfectionism, people pleasing, and grandiosity. Origins of self-hatred include emotional neglect and abuse. Addictive behavior regenerates self-hatred. With self-hatred, the three roles of the drama triangle (victim, abuser, rescuer) can show up in one person. Self-hatred takes so much energy that battling with it can seem to be the point of life. In Buddhist psychology, it's said that we spin our perception of reality into existence and that our natural state is stillness but we get bored with it. Things happen in life that allow the truth of reality to break through. Recognizing self-hatred is key to learning to move beyond it. Self-doubt can kill our impulses so we don't risk getting hurt again. Every neurotic manifestation has a flip side. Self-hatred can start us on a path of seeing ourselves more clearly. It unravels with self-acceptance. Self-observation is more than just mental analysis; it involves feeling what is going on in the body. In meditation we learn to be present and see ourselves more clearly. Humility and restraint can be upsides of self-hatred. A component of self-hatred is cultural. There is a certain tension that is necessary—a struggle between yes and no—on the path of transformation. Taking a step back, gaining perspective, and humor are helpful in working with self-hatred. Idiocy is part of the human condition. Bandhu Dunham is the author of Creative Life and an internationally recognized glass artist and teacher.

Representative Jasmine Crockett doesn't care about facts and (doesn't) apologize. Legendary comedian Jay Leno joins BT & Sal for a fiery, in-depth conversation on his career and the changing landscape of late-night television. Leno critiques the current state of late night—too many commercials, too much political fighting—and reveals the never-before-heard truth about the Conan O'Brien/NBC debacle, stating the network's incompetence and infighting drove the wedge. Leno shares priceless stories from his career, including his years-long prank war with David Letterman involving a meatball sandwich, and the unforgettable difference between President Obama arriving to the show in a rental car versus a satellite-proof tent. Finally, he discusses the need for humility and why working on his massive car collection helps him avoid the "Beverly Hills Bubble."
BT & Sal are furious at the Giants' "idiotic decision" to fire Head Coach Brian Daboll while retaining GM Joe Schoen to lead the next coaching search. They slam Schoen's track record—including his draft misses and the handling of the roster—arguing he hasn't "earned the right" to hire another coach, which they say proves the franchise is "lost" and "accepting losing." NFL Insider Brian Baldinger joins the fire to dissect Daboll's risky play-calling and its impact on QB Jaxson Dart. The discussion also dives into the murky waters of ownership (and John Mara's health), a fiery segment of "Bald Faced Lie, Bald Faced Truth" baseball predictions, and Sal's ticket jinx, where a free Rangers game was pulled right before the team broke its scoring drought. Finally, the segment ends with a heated hypothetical: Would you take a Soulmate Test that reveals your true match?

I caught up with journalist Tarric Brooker to explore the latest stupidity across property, economics and politics. When you look at the data, you might wonder if things can get better, or not. From high home prices, to delayed household formation, it seems things are working against us – are we tracking the Japan story … Continue reading "Have We Reached Peak Idiocy Yet? In this episode of the Outlaw God podcast, Stephen Paulson and Caleb Keith continue to look at the theological implications of Paul's sermon at the Areopagus. They discuss common misinterpretations of Paul's message, the concept of allotted periods in theology, the distinction between Jews and Gentiles, and the role of preachers in conveying God's word. The conversation also touches on God's overlooking of ignorance, the call to repentance, and the assurance provided through Christ's resurrection. The episode concludes with reflections on the impact of Paul's message on his audience. Trump & company want to turn us into Taiwan circa 1985. But the brilliant minds behind the idea of intentionally weakening the dollar are prioritizing making America a good place to manufacture rather than a good place to live. If the administration stays on this track, this country will have lower incomes, higher inflation, and weaker buying power—and more expensive beer and tomatoes. Maybe we were better off with Jared there. Meanwhile, in the Rust Belt, some Dems are arguing for a smarter version of tariffs. Plus, Abrego Garcia's union brothers want him home and Trump wants to fight with Harvard. Rep. Chris Deluzio and Josh Barro join Tim Miller. show notes Rep. Deluzio's NYT piece arguing for smarter tariffs Josh's NYT piece on how Trump is giving Dems a gift with his tariffs
In this episode, Adam and Dr. Drew discuss the USAID scam and Elizabeth Warren's latest hopeless plea. Then, they dig into the outrageous story of two illegal immigrants who shot a good Samaritan for daring to stop them from stealing a catalytic converter. But the real kicker? LA City Councilmember Nithya Raman's take on the whole thing—blaming Toyota for making their converters too easy to steal. Because with leftist's logic, it's never the criminal's fault. Brett Favre announced yesterday that he has Parkinson's Disease at a congressional hearing regarding his fraudulent spending, and Dan is comparing the plea for empathy to Kevin Spacey's interview with Piers Morgan. Tony explains how he didn't know Rickey Henderson stole a lot of bases and his explanation actually sorta kinda makes sense. Then, we have a Behind the Bit about how the Phlegmbrandt came to be and Billy is not very happy that he was not selected to talk about it. John Fisher released a letter to Athletics fans as they are set to move out of Oakland and David Samson is here to discuss it. We also have a great rant from Larry Beil in response to the letter and Izzy and Stu have some great ideas for a Larry Beil podcast name. Then, Jeremy bores us all to death with baseball talk, David Samson loves that the Pirates cut Rowdy Tellez four plate appearances shy of a bonus, Colton Cowser had a pizzookie and David discusses the new Ellen comedy special.
