Forest are preparing for a busy January transfer window, and there are already links to big names! Win Awoniyi Signed Framed Forest Shirts!: https://footballprizes.co.uk/product/forest-3/ In this transfer update, we're diving into the exciting rumours that have Forest linked with not one but two defenders in the upcoming January transfer window. First up, we have Victor Lindelof from Manchester United, whose contract is set to expire this summer. Manchester United are reportedly looking to cash in on the experienced Swedish defender during the January window to avoid losing him for free at the end of the season. Lindelof could bring a wealth of Premier League experience to the City Ground. On the other hand, we've got buzz around Real Madrid's young talent, Raúl Asencio. At just 21 years old, Asencio represents the future of defense with his youthful energy and raw potential. However, he's not only on Forest's radar; Newcastle and Aston Villa are also in the mix for this promising Spanish youngster. His addition could be a long-term investment for Forest, offering both immediate depth and future growth as he matures under Nuno Espírito Santo's guidance. Billi (@SGPSoccer) looks ahead to the Ruben Amorim era, which will begin tomorrow afternoon with a trip to Ipswich. The ongoing injury crisis at Old Trafford is one of the first things new manager Ruben Amorim must get his head around, with the likes of Leny Yoro, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo, Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire, and Tyrell Malacia all sidelined or doubtful. Erik ten Hag must field a patched-up defence in Saturday's Community Shield clash with Manchester City as injuries continue to dog the Manchester United head coach. Manchester United… the most in-form team in the Premier League... apparently! It doesn't feel like it, but, somehow, that's four league wins in five games for Erik ten Hag's Reds. It was hardly convincing; United failing to convert some good chances again and going through another game without a forward scoring. Victor Lindelof was the unlikely match-winner in a one-goal home victory over Luton Town. Earlier in the week, we did see a forward score. And twice. Rasmus Hojlund continued to show his excellence on the European stage by putting United two ahead at his old club. A wonderful performance disrupted by a nonsensical refereeing decision, in the aftermath of which United crumbled a little. 2-2 and then back in front, a Fernandes penalty. But then behind again, 4-3. A gutting result after some really positive signs. So, lots to review from one win and one defeat on the latest episode of the Manchester United Weekly Podcast with hosts Harry Robinson and Jack Tait. We discuss the positive signs in midfield over the last three games and why Harry Maguire's excellent diagonal passes are a good sign, but also demonstrate something lacking in the side. Harry talks about his trip to Copenhagen and we play Guess the Player, give you the Academy Briefing and discuss Man Utd Women's start to the season. Plus, in our Patreon Q&A we talk what Sir Jim Ratcliffe might do in his first few weeks at the club, and lots more. To get access to our 100th-ever bonus Q&A, head here. Manchester United versus Leeds United. The United derby. The Roses rivalry.Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faced off against Bielsa who has thrown the rule book out the window for newly promoted team, winning hearts in the process. His team value process over results and play with unbelievable heart and this game was yet another exhibition of that as they fought to get three points despite the widening goal margin throughout. It was fascinating to consider tactically. On today's 100% United Postgame Show we give our instant reaction to the absolute spanking Manchester United dished out to old rivals Leeds at Old Trafford. We wax lyrical about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men showing the early attacking intent we've been craving, led by an inspired Scott McTominay. Bruno Fernandes continued his outrageous output with a brace, with Daniel James and Victor Lindelof completing a very unusual list of scorers for United. It's been 16 years since we faced our enemies from across The Pennines and it was well worth the wait, we reminisce about past clashes and what this clash means to fans from both sides too.

This derby likely lacked atmosphere due to the fans’ absence but maybe also due to both side being unwilling to risk losing all the points available whilst languishing in ‘upper-mid table’. Solskjaer and Guardiola both are having their reputations questioned, one due to his team crashing out of the Champion’s League and the other because his team are not meeting the high standards he has set for himself and his teams. YO UNITED HIPSTERS NEED TO FIND A NEW OPPOSING MANAGER TO LIKE BECAUSE NAGELSMANN ISN’T IT! In this week’s episode of the United Pulse Podcast Eames and Snacks discuss the thrashing Manchester United gave to Colin’s favorite manager Julian Nagelsmann and RB Leipzig (curious that Colin couldn’t make it this week). The boys discuss the Man Utd twitter warriors who are against Victor Lindelof and explain why Lindelof is criticized so heavily and why they’re wrong. The boys also discuss the tactical masterclass Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the rest of the coaching staff set up against Leipzig and what worked and why it worked. Snacks then brings up the controversial argument he’s been championing since last season that Marcus Rashford is better than crown prince Kylian Mbappe and why he believes that and addresses why people won’t hop on the narrative with him. The lads close off with an Arsenal prediction for the upcoming weekend. Disagree with anything we said? Want to attack Snacks for going at your favorite player Kylian Mbappe? Link to match highlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaHhkSW27B0 Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Frank Lampard, novice managers in charge of top tier clubs have struggled during these first few matchdays to keep their teams from conceding and as such have thrown away many points despite how high Liverpool and Manchester City have raised the standards. Before tactically analysing the game, the Ova D Ba hosts go on a slight detour to talk about psychology, Rashford MBE and an online study on abuse that footballers receive.Enjoy! Manchester United Premier League winner Paul Parker joins United author Wayne Barton to review the games against Crystal Palace and Chelsea. United were given a sobering reminder of where they are after a comprehensive defeat to a fairly average Chelsea side, and naturally, there were many aspects of the defeat to pick the bones from. Is David de Gea's career at the top done? Who out of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof was the most disappointing? And how much should Ole shoulder the blame? The end of the Premier League season is previewed, and the winner of the £50 credit with Classic Football Shirts is announced. Talking Devils is brought to you in association with Classic Football Shirts. Listen to the show to get an exclusive discount code of 10%. Dale and Mike are back with another match review as Manchester United got back to winning ways against Crystal Palace on Thursday night. In what was a cagey encounter against Roy Hodgson's Eagles, United had to battle but not without some VAR controversy... We talk a bit about that but are mindful that VAR coverage is becoming tiresome. It is worth nothing that since recording, former Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher shared his opinion that Graham Scott made the right call by not awarding a penalty when Victor Lindelof challenged Wilfried Zaha inside the box. Palace also had a goal rightly disallowed for offside. Moreover, listen out for our reflections on an Independent report from Miguel Delaney suggesting that PSG manager Thomas Tuchel is targeting Marcus Rashford and would back the club to bid over £100m for the England international in a COVID-19 market.Leave a nice review and follow @Strettycast on Twitter. Dale and Leah discuss Manchester United's disappointing 2-2 draw with Southampton. They take nothing away from Ralph Hasenhuttl's side. They pressed like a pack of wild dogs and make issues for Manchester United. Our midfield couldn't breathe. Nemanja Matic looked shattered, Paul Pogba became frustrated and Bruno Fernandes had an off-night despite providing an assist for another Anthony Martial goal. We go in hard on Harry Maguire this week because his ongoing mistakes are unacceptable. It's time he improved because he's committing similar errors to his partner in crime, Victor Lindelof, and that should be an insult to the England international.Leah goes on a rant about VAR after an checked incident saw a Southampton player deliberately stamp on Mason Greenwood after the ball left his feet. It wasn't the only decision that had us scratching our heads last night...Send us feedback via Twitter (@Strettycast) or become a member on Patreon: http://patreon.com/strettynews See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

So there was an early strike for Boro with the addition of Viktor Fischer, an intriguing and exciting signing from Ajax who arrives with pedigree and admirers aplenty. And it's the kind of signing which could see Boro reaping the rewards of their scouting system, says Anthony Vickers. He uses Victor Lindelof as an example. OK, Boro didn't get the deal over the line in January but the fact they almost signed a player for £3m who is now being linked with a £20m move to Manchester United shows the ability of Boro's scouting and recruitment team to pick out a player. The Gazette's Boro editor Philip Tallentire believes "everything about the transfer policy at the minute is heartening".So who else can we expect through the door this summer? And what's the time scale for signings?Dominic Shaw is joined by Anthony, Philip and Jonathon Taylor for this week's podcast, where next year's season card prices are also on the agenda.
