Wade in 2022, abortions continue to rise in the United States.  The most recent numbers indicated 1.13 million abortions nationwide last year. That's up from 862,000 in 2017, reports The Christian Post. While a number of Republican-leaning states have restricted abortion, many Democrat-leaning states have opened up access to abortions.  Additionally, the Abortion Kill Pill is accessible in all states, and remains the largest driver in the uptick of abortion numbers. Psalm 94:21 says, “They gather together against the life of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.” Dept. of Justice cracks down on medical fraud The Department of Justice is cracking down on medical fraud. More than 450 defendants were named in the latest fraud bust, with the fraud totaling more than $6.5 billion!  Robert F. Kennedy Jr., head of the Department of Health and Human Services, explained the implications of the far-reaching medical fraud bust. KENNEDY: “Our objective is straightforward: to stop the fraud before it happens. “The people charged today should understand that we will continue expanding these capabilities, strengthening and enforcement, and pursuing every credible allegation of fraud. If you exploit patients for profit, if you steal Medicaid or Medicare dollars, if you treat taxpayer dollars as your personal bank account, we will investigate you. “We will build the case, and we will bring you to justice. We will find fraud, we will stop it, we will recover taxpayer dollars whenever the law permits, and we will restore integrity to the programs that millions of Americans rely on for their care.” 7 million illegals under Biden drove up housing costs A new report out of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas detailed the massive impact illegal immigration has had on housing prices. Per the report, around seven million illegal immigrants entered the United States during the Biden presidency, which contributed greatly to soaring housing prices. The report further read, “A back-of-the-envelope calculation suggests that [unauthorized immigrant worker flows] can explain about 30% of the total growth in house prices and 20% of total growth in rents over the boom period for the average local market.” And Lora Ries of the Heritage Foundation asserted, “We have at least 20 million deportable aliens in the U.S. Deporting millions of them will free up the housing supply, bring down housing costs, and allow young Americans to buy homes and start families.” But are there enough workers in America to do the work?  Fewer and fewer able-bodied Americans are willing to work.  The U.S. Labor Participation rate has dipped to 61.5% — down from 67% in the early 2000s. Unemployment is running at 4.2% — slightly higher than unemployment rates prior to the Covid pandemic in 2019.
