Was brought up in a loving and caring atmosphere. Completed my graduation in commerce stream, also a diploma course in Journalism and Mass Media. Wanted to pursue career in journalism however due to odd working hours was not permitted. Got married to my childhood love in Dec1994, Life changed 360 degrees in Oct 1995 when I lost my husband in an accident. Was 8 months pregnant. My daughter was born on 10th Dec 1995…. Was not sure should I be happy or cry… But she was and is the reason for me to survive Was in a semi depressed state for months but had the responsibility of my daughter so put the brave front up. Had put on 20 odd kilos post pregnancy and in this mental state. Would meet the family doctor every now and then with some or the other complaint. One day he asked me to check my weight which was 20 kilos more …. He motivated me to join a gym follow diet. A turning point in my life lost 18 odd kgs in 6 months then weight management. that day and today I hit the gym first thing in the morning. I started personal fitness training, helped people loose weight, did this as a passion and of course it paid me. More because I had experienced how I had regained confidence after losing weight and becoming fit. My parents were very supportive my mother stayed with me till my daughter was around 8 years. …Lost my father in 2004 around same time get to know my husband's business is all gone... will have to work for a living. With no prior work experience, other than 1.5 years of working as a receptionist/ office assistant, had to take up a job leaving my daughter with my Mom. My daughter blamed that I don't love her and dint care because I could not spend time with her help her in studies etc… this continued till recently when she realised why i was working. Nevertheless, all these years she has developed a grudge against me for this Lost my mother in 2010. Pillar of my life… Worked in different industries and profiles from risk management, relocations, security. Exhibitions to telecom… travelled nationally and internationally for work. Grew in my career with many ups and downs, leechee boss, supportive boss and colleagues All said and done God has been very kind was able to give a good life to my daughter who is getting married now!!! In 2019 started my own business in Food tech as a consultant and a business partner for a Cloud Kitchen. Some unavoidable reasons had to close that business. Continued with consultancy services and also started Life coaching services in around 2020. Today as a mindset and Wellness coach I am conducting ( online and offline) one to one session for single parents, helping people manage work life balance, find happiness in life ,work on their relationship, help change their mindset and live a better life.

Roderick Edwards (aka RoderickE) was born in 1968 and adopted at age 4. His adopted family was chaotic and virtually non-existent making for a unique perspective of life. Due to his very thin physique, as a young boy, doctors suspected Roderick had a muscle deterioration disease which caused him to spend many years in treatment. However, the prognosis was wrong. As an adult at age 50, Roderick found his biological family. Much of his early forays into writing came via the advent of MOOs and MUDs (online, text-based communities before the Internet had images). The text-based nature of these communities required very descriptive writing, especially as many of the early users were blind and would use screen readers. This attention to descriptive and imaginative detail has led to the style Roderick demonstrates. Further, Roderick has an interest in theology, philosophy, and politics and even once ran a mock presidential campaign

With more than 20,000 nautical miles of ocean racing experience, Gaurav Shinde, an Indian born management professional is representing Canada in the Golden Globe Race 2022.  Gaurav started sailing at the age of 11 after joining the Sea Cadet Corps Training Ship Jawahar in Mumbai, India. He attributes his solid seamanship skills to the time spent at Jawahar and learning sailing from ex-world champions.  Gaurav made a name for himself by winning two consecutive offshore championships in India. Inspired by India's first solo circumnavigator Dilip Donde and Sir Robin Knox Johnston, Gaurav joined the 2013/14 Clipper Round The World Yacht Race. In 2013, he received the Admiral Ramdas Trophy for offshore sailing from the Yachting Association of India becoming only the first civilian to win the award that had been won by India's circumnavigators Dilip Donde and Abhilash Tomy.  An adventurer in the true sense, Gaurav grew up sailing across the Arabian sea, climbing in the Himalayas and exploring the vast wilderness of India. However, the Golden Globe Race promises to be the coolest thing he has done – so far!  Outside of sailing, he is an MBA from the Ivey Business School and Gaurav continues to showcase his talents in the business world along with speaking on the motivational speaking circuit. Gaurav also spends time supporting his chosen charities and supports sailing projects for the underprivileged.  By completing a solo non-stop circumnavigation in the Golden Globe Race 2022, Gaurav hopes to inspire the next generation of global adventurers.

Taleha Khan, a full-time software engineer and Radio Jockey is a motivator by nature.
