The Neurodivergent Creative Podcast is a truly remarkable podcast that offers a refreshing and empowering perspective on life and creativity. The host, Caitlin, brings an authentic and relatable voice to the table, making listeners feel seen and heard. This podcast is a love letter to creators, reminding them that their gifts and talents are not accidents and that they deserve to prioritize their passions in their lives. Caitlin does an incredible job of breaking down complex concepts into simple and understandable points of view, keeping the audience engaged and excited about making moves in their own lives.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is Caitlin's ability to be vulnerably authentic with her audience. She shares her own struggles and experiences, creating a safe space for listeners to do the same. This level of vulnerability allows the podcast to delve into sensitive topics such as trauma and the constant hustle without shying away from them. The mix of tough love, common sense, and compassion in Caitlin's approach provides a perfect balance that resonates deeply with listeners.

Another great aspect of The Neurodivergent Creative Podcast is its ability to validate the cognitive dissonance many individuals experience regarding how life works and their personal feelings about it. Caitlin gives voice to these thoughts and concerns, providing validation for listeners who may have struggled to articulate these feelings themselves. This validation can be incredibly empowering and validating for those who have experienced trauma or find themselves constantly hustling.

While it's hard to find any major flaws in this podcast, one potential downside could be its focus on specific topics such as trauma or the constant hustle. While these topics are important and resonate with many individuals, some listeners may not connect as deeply if they haven't experienced these particular struggles. However, Caitlin does cover a wide range of topics throughout her episodes, so there is still something valuable for everyone.

In conclusion, The Neurodivergent Creative Podcast is a must-listen for anyone seeking validation, motivation, and a fresh perspective on life and creativity. Caitlin's ability to speak directly to the struggles and thoughts of her audience is incredibly powerful, making this podcast relatable and comforting. The valuable insights and encouragement offered in each episode empower listeners to make meaningful changes in their lives and pursue their passions without succumbing to societal expectations. Overall, this podcast is a highly recommended source of inspiration and support for anyone on a journey of self-improvement and creative exploration.

Being brave means taking a risk. It's choosing to stand up for something, even if it could result in a loss, because there's this hope that goodness will always prevail. Movies and media often portray bravery as a single, defining moment, but life rarely ever works that way. Being brave looks like a no-brainer. Main characters do it all the time. Like, they just know! It's always shown as this big, bright feeling, and they arrive at just the right time to do the right thing, and everybody cheers, AND nothing bad happens after. Good kicks evil in the butt. YAY, roll the credits!!But reality is quite different. If you piss off the perpetrator of these oppressive systems, there's almost always going to be major consequences for standing up,  speaking out, and taking action. It sucks that we can't be brave all the time. And really, we shouldn't have to. Bravery comes at a cost, and no one person should be paying for all of it. We were meant to be brave together because it's a helluva lot easier to be brave when the responsibility is shared—when you have community. Tune in to this episode, as Caitlin Liz Fisher unpacks the messy parts that don't get talked about enough in the story but matter just as much. What happens after the big, brave moment? And what can we do to continue making brave choices and taking brave actions? Let's find out together!Let's talk about What Makes Being Brave Possible: Why bravery always involves risk—and why that risk is essential for real courage to exist How movies and books give us a narrow view of bravery vs what real-life courage looks like Why having a community makes it easier to be brave and how to find people who will support you Why quiet, everyday acts of courage matter just as much as bold, public onesLinks and resources mentioned in this episode:Unboxing Queerness, Identity, and Freedom with Petra Vega | #134Support the Podcast: Membership Drive on Patreon!

AI is just popping up everywhere, huh? It's on our Pinterest, our cars, our little Bluetooth speakers… helping us ‘do things efficiently.' Sure it feels futuristic, very Wall-E, and if you've seen that movie, you would know that it is actually quite concerning. Our reliance on AI to do things for us? Housework, yeah, that seems useful, but using AI to give us ideas? Mmm… kinda sketchy especially when you acknowledge the fact that technology DOES NOT actually come up with original ideas on its own, it's just making idea soup from other creative humans' hard work.  And we're not sure if you know this, but YOU have amazing ideas. Your brain is capable of coming up with really juicy ideas if you just let it! Will it require offerings and a cozy spot? Probably. Will it demand little snackies and/or naps at the most inopportune times? Highly likely. But it's okay to take your time and allow yourself to be creative, instead of relying on AI to do everything for you.  Humans being creative vs AI ‘being creative' are not the same thing, so let's reflect on that. Why should we trust AI to ideate for us, more than we ever trust ourselves to create something that will connect authentically?'  Kicking the hornet nest again in this episode, Caitlin talks about the value of leaning into your own voice and ideas, how to trust your creativity especially when you feel sucked into the content production grind, and why using Copy Improv to shift your marketing perspective to focus on building joyful human connections. It can feel really icky and unfair to exist in a society that puts enormous pressure on individuals to conform and achieve certain milestones to be considered worthy.  In this special Anti-New Year's Resolution episode as Caitlin Liz Fisher challenges societal pressures and shares her insight on how to make resolutions rooted in self-love and authenticity. Discover how shifting our focus away from external validation can lead to resolutions that bring genuine happiness and long-lasting fulfillment. Ready to redefine resolutions on YOUR terms? Tune in to this special episode and start embracing your true desires and the path that feels right for you! Episode Highlights: Addressing the concept of "should" and how many resolutions come from a sense of societal expectations Importance of defining key areas in life and striking balance between them The Unfuckwithable WHY: deep-rooted reasons behind our goals and intentions Shifting the focus towards self-love and acceptance rather than pursuing external ideals Noteworthy Quotes: “If your goal is related to,  'When I achieve this, I will be loved.' Rework on that until you are at a goal that focuses on that relationship with yourself.  'If I do this consistently, I love myself.' That can't be found in frantic, hustling energy. You can never get quiet enough to hear your own intuition speak if you are racing toward a finish line.” “There is relationship with self in stillness. There is relationship with self in peace. There's relationship with self in slowing down.” “One of the scariest places to be when you have been chasing weight loss and diet culture your whole life - the idea of stopping. It's like being a shark. You're like, 'If I am not constantly moving so that I can make myself smaller and more worthy, how could I possibly deserve to just stand here and live?' That's a fucked up place to be.” Episodes that you'd love: Scrutinizing the ‘New Year New Me' Mentality Healing from People Pleasing Trauma You Are Enough - The Power of Self-Compassion Normalizing Asking for Help (as a Neurodivergent Person) Are You Suffering From Eldest Daughter Syndrome?
