One of the most frequent critiques of sola scriptura made by catholic apologists is the problem of the protestant canon. Catholic apologists argue that without some sort of infallible authority outside of scripture, you cannot be certain of the scriptural authenticity of any given book of the bible, which in turn undermines the authority of scripture as a whole. In response to this criticism Protestant apologists have offered three main arguments intended to answer this objection, and in this video I hope to explain why I think these answers ultimately don't hold up. And why the biblical canon remains Sola scripura's Achilies heel.Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=81707973 follow me on social media:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/doctrinedogmaanddavide/Contact me:doctrinegodmaanddavide@outlook.com

Hello healers,   In this episode of The Moss Report, I travel to Budapest, Hungary, to visit Semmelweis University and sit down with research scientist Dr. Christos Chinopoulos, a leading biochemist whose work has helped advance the mitochondrial and metabolic theory of cancer.   Previously on The Moss Report, my father and I spoke with Professor Thomas N. Seyfried of Boston College, who repeatedly pointed to Dr. Chinopoulos as an important scientific collaborator in clarifying key aspects of this theory. In particular, their work has focused on how cancer cells generate energy, the role of mitochondria, the importance of glucose and glutamine, and the idea that a specific metabolic vulnerability may represent an "Achilles heel" of cancer.   In this conversation, Dr. Chinopoulos discusses: • his work with Professor Seyfried • how metabolic theory builds on and corrects aspects of Otto Warburg's original framework • why ketogenic therapy may help cancer patients • the limits of targeting glucose alone • glutamine, substrate-level phosphorylation, and cancer cell survival • his laboratory's work on drug development aimed at exploiting metabolic differences between healthy cells and cancer cells • how this research may eventually contribute to more effective and less toxic cancer treatment   The episode also includes a brief tour of Dr. Chinopoulos' lab at Semmelweis University, where his team studies tumor metabolism, drug response, and precision approaches to cancer biology.   Read the full article, with transcript: https://www.themossreport.com/cancers-metabolic-achilles-heel/     Watch our earlier interview with Professor Thomas N. Justin Connor, filmmaker and musician behind The Golden Age, shares how his saxophonist father and jazz-loving parents never encouraged music yet inadvertently programmed workaholism into his DNA—a double-edged sword that became both his greatest asset for wearing multiple hats on independent films and his potential downfall requiring hard drive reformatting of his life. Connor reveals how cigarette addiction reflected grief stored in the lungs, how psychedelics and ayahuasca offered exploration without true addiction, and why workaholism proved more dangerous than any substance by fueling perfectionism, obsessive careerism, and control. Drawing from his upbringing witnessing family dynamics, he explains how directing became about trusting himself as an adult after childhood wounds, why he interned for Eric Holder before a double feature of Shawshank Redemption and Pulp Fiction redirected him to Hollywood, and how creating The Golden Age with superhuman strength felt like lancing a boil that needed purging—a film he could never remake even with 10 million dollars. In this raw breakdown, Ryan Schlipp unleashes a deep dive into the Green Bay Packers' offensive line struggles, pulling no punches on why it's one of the worst in team history and a massive roadblock to success. Backed by PFF data from 2006 to now, he exposes the shocking lows in run and pass blocking that are squandering Jordan Love's elite play and Josh Jacobs' potential. If you're a Packers fan tired of the hype, this episode lays out the brutal truth on coaching missteps and draft failures that could derail the season. Rasheed Walker and Zach Tom hold their own, but Aaron Banks, Sean Ryan, and Anthony Belton rank as some of the worst performers in 20 years of Packers data – with Belton dead last in both run and pass blocking. Historic comparisons reveal how shuffling positions for versatile players like Elton Jenkins and Jordan Morgan has backfired, turning potential stars into patchwork fixes. Bold take: The offensive line's catastrophic state isn't just average – it's panic-worthy, hindering the run game and pressuring Love more than any Packers QB in decades. Tease on fixes: Immediate changes needed at guard and center, plus a rant on why free agents like Xavier McKinney shine while drafts hollow out the trenches. Hey humans, let's talk about that hidden bottleneck that's absolutely killing your time to hire: scheduling. We're still playing calendar Tetris, sending those dreaded email chains back and forth. By the time you get everyone in the same virtual room, your perfect candidate has three other offers. This is the administrivia that's costing you top talent. But what if I told you that scheduling isn't your Achilles heel—it's your secret weapon? We're in a new world where a six-day scheduling standard is gold, and companies using automation are slashing their time to hire by 50%. This isn't just about saving your recruiters 14 to 17 hours a week, this is about the human experience. Think about it: manual scheduling takes 8 to 12 touchpoints for one interview. Automation cuts that down to one or two. That's a better impression of your organization. And here's what most people miss: when you cut that time to hire, your offer acceptance rates go up and your cost per hire drops. This one change affects all of your recruiting metrics. So, let's dive into it. In this episode, I'm giving you the playbook. We'll talk about the different tools, from enterprise-level products to integrating Calendly. We'll cover the pitfalls and watchouts, and I'll give you a three-step process to run a pilot, starting with your high-volume recs, so you can measure the ROI and make your business case. This is how we get better, faster, smarter. Stacie More episodes at StacieBaird.com.

Grok Shownotes Overview of the Discussion The episode of the White Pillbox features host Mark Maresca interviewing Stephan Kinsella, a prominent intellectual property attorney and libertarian writer from Houston. Recorded on September 06, 2025, the conversation delves into Kinsella's latest work, the "Universal Principles of Liberty," a document aimed at articulating a coherent framework for libertarian principles. This discussion provides listeners with an insightful exploration of libertarian thought, emphasizing practical applications and philosophical underpinnings in the context of transitioning to a freer society. Background on Universal Principles of Liberty Kinsella explains the genesis of the "Universal Principles of Liberty," highlighting his involvement in various libertarian projects, including attempts to draft constitutions for new nations like Liberland. He critiques the traditional concept of constitutions as state-authorizing documents, advocating instead for a statement of principles that avoids legitimizing governmental authority. The project evolved from his earlier work, such as the "Fundamental Principles of Justice," and was collaboratively refined with contributions from attorneys Pat Tinsley, Aleandro Fusillo, David Durr, and oversight from Hans-Hermann Hoppe, reflecting a broad consensus on core libertarian values. In this week's episode, we discuss antibiotics, Kennedy, mirrors and education—all from Seville, Spain. First up: fluoroquinolones are a class of antibiotics that includes cipro, and are now understood to cause a whole host of serious health problems, from tendon rupture to heart damage to death. Over-reliance on pharmaceutical solutions to human problems is making us sicker. Then: scientists are worried about Kennedy, because he “rejects established science,” like how effective the mRNA shots are against Covid. Also: what is going on with mirrors, and why are people so quick to decide that it's obvious? Finally: education should include mirrors and magnets and big messy physical games that require coordination of both individual bodies and people.*****Our sponsors:ARMRA Colostrum is an ancient bioactive whole food that can strengthen your immune system.
