Offerings include: A “High School Musical” pep rally will take place through the streets of Disneyland Park celebrating songs from the “High School Musical” franchise. From where to find several secret photo opportunities based on Disney's Tangled, to exciting new Disney Weddings and ticketed event additions coming to Disneyland Resort this year, there's a lot to celebrate in this week's Disney travel news.Where to Find the Best Tangled Photo Opportunities at Walt Disney WorldThis week, Disney went about untangling the Tangled PhotoPass opportunities at Walt Disney World. Disney PhotoPass has lots of Tangled-themed photo ops and you may not know them all. So here's where to find them.Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney SpringsGet photos in front of Tangled virtual backdrops. The trick is to let the photographer know that you want the Tangled photos and they'll set it up. Special bonus here: there's a frying pan prop you can use in your photos to channel your inner Rapunzel. Disney's Animal Kingdom ParkGet Tangled at Animal Kingdom by finding the Disney PhotoPass photographer stationed at the bridge leading from the entrance of the park into Discovery Island. There's a Pascal Magic Shot to be had here, so be sure to check with the photographer to get the Tangled magic. Magic Kingdom Park And of course, in Corona inside the Magic Kingdom, the always-alluring lantern prop photo is a classic. This one is located near Rapunzel's tower in the restroom courtyard. It's very popular and a line is pretty much standard fare. -- Cinderella's Carriage is Finally Coming to Disneyland It's hard to believe it took this long but Disneyland Resort is finally launching a Cinderella Horse-Drawn Carriage to offer unique Disney celebrations for couples. Word is that the carriage will launch later this year as part of 100 Years of Wonder.  The new Coach will be available for both Theme Park and Resort Hotel ceremonies. Gina and Dan give their experiences on Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite that happened in conjunction with Star Wars Celebration. Both Gina and Dan attended the Star Wars Nite, but had very different experiences in what they wanted to do that night. Dan attended all four days of Star Wars Celebration and gives all kinds of info on things that went down and there was still plenty he didn't even see. Before all that the two talk the return of Fantasmic which Gina was supposed to go see on a reservation an Dan wasn't, but the roles ended up reversing and Dan saw it on opening day. It's a special Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness bonus episode! Doctor Strange and Wanda Maximoff, now Scarlet Witch, must contend with what they both have done to the Multiverse. In this episode, Richard and Sarah break down the film and share their thoughts on the characters, genre and scenes. Where do our favorite characters go from here?? What do we think of a horror film in the MCU? We also share your thoughts, too. As with any of our breakdowns, this episode DOES contain spoilers.    Full Synopsis:   The film opens as America Chavez and an alternate version of Doctor Strange flee through the space between universes to find the Book of Vishanti to stop a demon chasing them. (The Book of the Vishanti contains spells of defensive magic and is indestructible. Its counterpart, the Darkhold, contains all the knowledge of black magic).    Chavez makes it to Earth-616 and is saved by Doctor Strange and Sorcerer Supreme Wong. She tells them that she is being hunted because she has the power to travel through the multiverse.    They soon realize it was Wanda who is hunting Chavez down to gain her power so she can cross the multiverse and find her kids, Billy and Tommy. When Strange refuses to surrender Chavez, Wanda attacks Kamar-Taj, killing many acolytes. Chavez then accidentally transports herself and Strange across the multiverse to Earth-838.   While searching for help, Strange and Chavez are arrested by Earth-838's Karl Mordo and brought before the Illuminati, which consists of Mordo himself, Captain Peggy Carter (from the animated series, What If?), King Black Bolt (who is part of the Inhumans), Captain Maria Rambeau (from Captain Marvel), Doctor Reed Richards (from the FF), and Professor Charles Xavier (from the X-Men).    Mordo believes our Earth's Strange is dangerous, but before they can pass judgment, Wanda arrives and kills the Illuminati, except Mordo. Strange and Chavez escape with help from Strange's ex-fiancé Christine Palmer, who is an Illuminati scientist in this multiverse.   Escaping from Wanda, the three enter the space between universes to find the Book of Vishanti, but Wanda appears and takes over Chavez's mind, using her powers to send the others to a sinister, mostly-destroyed universe. Strange and Palmer fight the sinister universe's Strange, who has been corrupted by the Darkhold. Strange uses this Darkhold to dream-walk into the corpse of the alternate Strange which remained on Earth-616 and save Chavez. Unable to overpower Wanda, Chavez instead transports her back to Earth-838, allowing Billy and Tommy to witness her evil. The kids are terrified by Wanda, who is there as the Scarlet Witch, but after realizing how much death and destruction she's caused, Wanda uses her powers to destroy all copies of the Darkhold throughout the multiverse, seemingly sacrificing herself in the process.    Before Christine returns to Earth-838, Strange tells her that he still loves his universe's Christine but has always been too scared to have a real relationship. Moon Knight, the 6th Disney+ Marvel series, has arrived! We prepare you for the entire series with a Comic Book primer, and share our thoughts on the first episode, “The Goldfish Problem.” There are so many layers to this character who first appeared in 1975 in the series Werewolf by Night. Plus having so many personalities, Moon Knight is very hard to boil down. But we did it. We gathered a lot of information and tried to focus on the highlights so it wouldn't be overwhelming. Now let's take the night with vengeance and justice and get into Moon Knight!   Premise of Marvel's Disney+ series   The series follows Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac), a gift shop employee at a London museum that is currently showing an Egyptian exhibit. Steven Grant suffers from dissociative identity disorder, and is trying to figure out what is real and what is not, and he is guided along the way from another one of his identities named Marc Spector who is the avatar of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Along the way Steven Grant must contend with Marc's enemies like Dr. Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke), as they are thrust into a deadly mystery surrounding the powerful gods of Egypt.   Who is Moon Knight as found in the comics from the 80's?   The comics focus on Marc Spector, and Steven Grant is not a lovable loser who works in a gift shop. Marc Spector served as a Marine and briefly as a CIA operative, and is left for dead by fellow mercenary named Bushman in Sudan. Spector is brought before a statue of Khonshu and before he dies, he is suddenly revived and fully healed. He claims Khonshu wants him to be the "moon's knight", redeeming his life of violence by now protecting and avenging the innocent.    On his return to the United States, MARC Spector invests his mercenary profits into becoming the crimefighter "Moon Knight".  Along with his costumed alter ego, he primarily uses three other identities to gain information from different social circles: billionaire businessman Steven Grant, taxicab driver Jake Lockley, and suited consultant Mr. Knight. Sound like a familiar caped crusader? Welcome to episode 101 of Dateline Mousetalgia! Orange County is no longer requiring face masks and there is a Change.org petition to push back the reopening date of the Disneyland Resort. We have a few more updates about WDW reopening including hotel reservations and testing of contactless bag checks. The fireworks animation has been removed from the Disneyland app & My Disney experience app... a sign of the times? Hong Disneyland is reopening today with similar reopening guidelines that we have seen for other parks. The Star Wars celebration has been pushed to 2022 and the Disneyland After Dark: STar Wars Nite event has also been postponed with no rescheduled date just yet. E discuss a petition that came out to retheme Splash Mountain to the Princess and the Frog and this week we are super excited to bring our friends from the Podketeers podcast on the episode! We’re live from Disneyland in Episode 81 of Dateline Mousetalgia! In this week’s episode, we share a little about our experiences doing the VIP Tour at Disneyland Resort, as well as our initial reactions to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! We also revisit Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure, focusing on the musical performances by Melody of China. Plus, this week’s episode covers February’s attraction refurbishment schedule, the announcement of a new Disneyland After Dark Star Wars Nite, vintage popcorn boxes that throw it back to Disneyland’s earlier years, and some Fantasyland updates!

Disneyland is a unique park that is known for their one-of-a-kind events and, a few weeks ago, they hosted a special Disneyland After Dark event on May 3rd going over, past midnight, into May the 4th. The event was called Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, and it featured special fireworks, character meet and greets, and even attractions specifically made over and themed for Star Wars. One of our good friends and listeners, Deborah Ferry, was at this event, and she is joining us for this week's feature discussion episode to talk about the event and her experience.
