Ein Jahr Female St. Pauli Stories - und die zwölfte Folge erscheint erneut am Feministischen Kampftag. Ich bin mehr als glücklich, über jede der zwölf Folgen mit den tollsten Frauen und ihren Geschichten und freue mich auf noch viele mehr. Für die Folge zum 1. Geburtstag habe ich Julia und Anja zu „mir“ in die Levi's Music School eingeladen. Denn es geht um Musik und auflegen und DJs. Oder sagt man Djanes? Eine von vielen Fragen, die wir beantworten. Denn diesmal kann auch ich als DJ richtig viel mitreden. Anja legt seit 30 Jahren auf und Julia hat annähernd so oft aufgelegt, wie sie auswärts gefahren ist (Spoiler: sehr oft). Seid gespannt auf unglaubliche Geschichten, in denen sich die Männerwelt leider öfter mal nicht mit Ruhm bekleckert, aber auch die ein oder andere Story, die echt herzerweichend oder zum totlachen ist. Hört rein, denn das Fazit ist auf jeden Fall, dass die wunderschönen Geschichten, die wir beim Auflegen erlebt haben, überwiegen. The DJ got us falling in love again... oder eben nicht. Gerade sind alle Clubs geschlossen und DJs und DJanes kann man allerhöchstens in diversen online Streams live und in Farbe sehen. Für alle leidenschaftlichen Partygänger:innen unter euch wahrscheinlich eine Qual. Doch warum eigentlich? Warum können wir nicht einmal ein Jahr auf Partys verzichten? Warum berichten die Medien noch immer von illegalen Coronapartys, obwohl doch mittlerweile bei jeder/jedem angekommen sein sollte, dass das Milde gesagt keine gute Idee ist. Genau diese Fragen hat sich Rafaela auch gestellt und deshalb einen Partypromoter und -Veranstalter, den sie kennt, eingeladen. Simon Bethke und Rafaela quatschen darüber, warum Partys eigentlich so cool sind, warum man die/den DJane/DJ nicht um einen Song bitten sollte, welche Anmache im Club Rafaela für immer traumatisiert hat, und was eine Garage mit Simons verrücktesten Partyerlebnis zu tun hat.

Zu Beginn des neuen Jahres orientieren wir uns gerne an Vorbildern – gerade jetzt, da viele Dinge so ungewiss sind. In der Ab 21 sprechen wir mit einem Sozialpsychologen, einer Personal-Trainerin und zwei DJanes.

Die DJ Szene ist weitestgehend von Männern dominiert. Doch wer auf der ein oder anderen Party genau hinschaut, stellt fest, dass auch die Vertreterinnen des schöneren Geschlechts mit dabei sind. Eine von Ihnen ist DJane Xandra aus Köln, die schon seit sieben Jahren die Tanzflächen in unterschiedlichen Ländern Europas bespielt. Sie erzählt uns Ihre ganz eigenen Eindrücke zu Frauen im DJ Business und wie sie die aktuelle Situation zum Rassismus und des Corona-Virus bezüglich der Veranstaltungsbranche sieht.

Djane Hany kommt aus Köln, beschäftigt sich seit 2017 mit dem DJing und ist somit noch recht frisch in der Szene. Im Interview sprechen wir darüber, wie Sie zur Musik gekommen ist, wie sie an Bookings kommt, über ihren ersten Gig vor Publikum und was Sie in Zukunft vor hat. The German Djane and Producer Anja Augner from Magdeburg is a young aspiring female artist with clear objectives. She has been passionate about electronic music for many years now. After her first experience behind the decks in smaller clubs at her hometown, own productions have followed since 2014. Now, only a few years later she is hungry to become a part of the recognized international Techno scene. Her first own release (Discovery EP) on the Berlin based Techno label "Advanced" already won the attention of the Global Techno scene. Anja’s tracks received great support from artists like Sam Paganini, Nicole Moudaber, Pan-Pot, The Yellow Heads, Skober... just to name a few. Besides Anja hosts a series of parties called "FE.MALE SOUL" together with other Djanes from around the globe, where only females are playing all night long. She is also successful with her own "About Us“ party in the Magdeburg based club "Epic". Regardless of where she is playing, whether it is London, Berlin or Hamburg, dance floors are hypnotized by her driving sets. Re:Fresh 97: KIA Kia grew up in the Rhein-Main area in Hessen,Germany. At a very young age she was already interested in going out and had her first contact with electronic music in different clubs in Frankfurt. It didn`t take long for her to realize that it wouldn`t be enough to just listen or dance to this sound. Kia decided to do something and become one of the unfortunately very few Djanes. Her style is to be situated somewhere between House and Techno. To her the most important is the good selection of tracks in her set. She loves to look for records in second hand shops, record stores or in the internet for hours. In her environment she had great support from Vera and Dorian Paic (Robert Johnson).
