The boys are back to talk the latest with the NFL and fantasy football. Is Bryce Young cooked? Can Josh Allen finally beat Mahomes this year? Panic over Kelce or LaPorta in Fantasy? We discuss all this, and more, on another great show.
Well well well, look at what we have here. After the boys were a bit hard on Xbox for some of their most recent business moves and studio closures, Xbox came back and delivered what has to be one of the best showcases in recent history. With the showcase came a litany of great game announcements and trailers, many of which are coming to PS5. Naturally we start off the show by discussing some of these titles that are coming over, and what the showcase means for our feelings and thoughts on Xbox as a whole. Truth be told, it certainly made us more inclined to check out the Xbox ecosystem in the recent weeks as we wait for more PS titles to come out later this Summer. From there Josh and Colin move on to discuss a topic submitted via Patreon. Just what is the "correct" way to play a video game? Are we as trophy hunters robbing ourselves of intended experiences by using video and text guides? The short answer is, it depends, but we get into much more detail and try to parse out the truth which lies somewhere in the middle. Finally Josh reviews a PS classic title that recently got trophies added to it in Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, and Colin talk about the shadow drop of a DLC Pack 2 for Astro's Playroom. Is this a brilliant way to market the upcoming Astro Bot title and drive excitement, or is a huge annoyance to the trophy hunting community and those who strive for the full 100%? As always the reality is it's both. Thank you so much listening, and take care!

CoG Studios, CA - The LA Galaxy allowed another late goal in a 1-1 draw with the San Jose Earthquakes in front of more than 50,000 people on Saturday night. They also saw some yellow cards, a red card and about 8 mins of stoppage time. To say it fit the script of another Cali Clasico would be an understatement. Joining Josh Guesman and LA Galaxy Insider Adam Serrano is Robert Jonas. Robert covers the San Jose Earthquakes via CenterlineSoccer.com and has been a guest on the podcast more than once. The guys will discuss the atmosphere, the game and what actually happened in the closing moments that saw Ashley Cole get sent off with a straight red card. You'll also hear what the players were told happened and why this becomes an issues for the July 4th game vs Vancouver. Robert will also talk about the LA Galaxy arch nemesis, Chad Barrett, and what he was able to do in this game to make sure Galaxy fans continue their dislike for him. Finally Josh and Adam will look ahead to the type of lineup the LA Galaxy might trot out for Wednesday's US Open Cup game against the Portland Timbers. LA is on the road against a talented Portland team who seems to be finding some form. But what lineups actually play is anyone's guess. It's an important game for the LA Galaxy, but also for the younger talents that are expected to be suiting up for this game. Corner of the Galaxy: From the Box is about bringing the discussion from the Press Box to the fans. And today's show is a perfect example of balanced coverage from both sections.

Our hosts discuss the most recent LA Galaxy roster moves, the CCL game against Santos Laguan and what this team looks like on paper. On this episode of Corner of the Galaxy: From the Box, your host Josh Guesman is joined by MLSSoccer.com's Scott French. Together the guys discuss the LA Galaxy releasing Dan Gargan and Ignacio Maganto. What does this mean for both players? And what is the thinking behind the release. In some cases this raises more questions than answers. Then the guy will transition to talking about how the LA Galaxy have positioned themselves the best out of any MLS team in the CCL Quarterfinals. That doesn't mean that the Galaxy aren't underdogs. It means that another solid performance might give them a chance to steal one from Santos Laguna. It's sure to be a wild night in Torreon. Finally Josh and Scott look back on the LA Galaxy's preseason and what that might mean for the regular season. 2016 could be a very interesting year. That might be good and that might be bad. On today's show we're quickly updating you on the loss to Houston, the departure of Penedo, the arrival of Ricketts and the giving you a short preview of the upcoming Colorado game. Josh was out of town for most of the week so here's your quick update on the LA Galaxy news and info you may've missed this week while he was away. He'll first talk briefly about the loss to the Houston Dynamo as LA Galaxy came out flat and uninterested against Houston in a game with all the heat and none of the excitement of a Texas showdown. Suspensions, National team call-ups and poor play doomed them from the first whistle. Then it's on to the departure of Jaime Penedo. If you've been listening long enough, this shouldn't surprise you. We've known about contract issues and Jaime being unhappy since the beginning of the season. This was just the final step in an action we've seen coming for awhile. So who do you get to replace Jaime Penedo? Well if this is 2009, you may've guessed Donovan Ricketts. Will he start? Or will Brian Rowe get the nod? Finally Josh will get you ready for the Saturday night matchup with the Colorado Rapids. The LA Galaxy haven't won on the road since August of 2014. So it's basically been a year. Will this be the one that finally gets them over the hump? Music Provided by Back Pocket Memory
It is the final Friday in the month and it is time for Ben and Josh recap all the great guests from July. Josh and Ben start the show discussing Jon Schumacher. It was Ben's impression that despite the popularity and success that Jon has with his video podcast, Jon felt like he wasn't good at it. Seems that was all in Ben's head as Josh didn't get that impression at all. Ben then realizes that maybe he is projecting on Jon his own feelings about this show and the success it has and the guests that come on. Ben and Josh then jump into their favorite value bomb from the show. Next Ben and Josh discuss Mark Sumpter and really enjoyed the conversation with him. Based on some of the stories that Mark shared, it is very important to value your time. Make sure you enjoy what you are doing, or that you are getting paid for what you are doing (and if you're really good, get paid for what you enjoy doing). Then Josh and Ben discussed their interview with Shawn Manaher. This episode was even more fun for Ben to listen to and edit as he wasn't even on the show. Ben had a short notice work trip and couldn't co-host, and thankfully previous guest Shannon Hernandez joined Josh on the show to co-host. Ben really enjoyed Shannon and Shawn discussing their thoughts on working out. After that Ben and Josh talked about Zach Obront's interview. This show was also co-hosted by Shannon Hernandez in Ben's absence. Josh shares what one of Zach's value bombs means to him and how important it is to pivot. Things change and it is always important to see those changes and adjust your game plan to compensate for those changes while continuing to move forward and progress. Finally Josh and Ben recapped their interview this week with Ryan Levesque. Ryan was a great guest and had a great story to tell with his experience in the business world. Ben and Josh were also very grateful for the gift Ryan is giving to Utopians. He is giving away a copy of his book! Just go to AskFormula.com and use the code Utopia to get the book for free and just pay shipping! Let's make sure that we take him up on that offer and clear out all the books he set aside for us! As a special treat, Josh brought on his son Benji! Ben spent a few minutes talking with Benji about his perfect day, and possibly setting Josh up to make that happen. As always, a special thank you to The Strand for our intro and outro music!

Jay Watts from Life Training Institute join the Life Report team via Skype for a round table discussion on whether modern day Planned Parenthood is actually a racist organization. Jay offers a brief biography on Margaret Sanger and the two most significant events in her life. In response to the question of whether Sanger was racist, Jay responds that "racist" is too limiting a term for her. Also discussed are the stats that seem to implicate Planned Parenthood in targeting minorities, as well as the location of some of their clinics in minority neighborhoods, and the Live Action Racism Project. Finally Josh offers an alternative explanation for the higher abortion rate in the black community and the location of some Planned Parenthood clinics in minority neighborhoods.
