It has been a while, but we are back with another Trve. Crvp. Pop!, the search for the worst album of all time.On this episode Steve and Sam look at MDNA, the 12th studio album from US pop icon Madonna, released on the 23rd of March 2012.It looked like Madonna had effortlessly sidestepped the late period wobble that so many of her contemporaries suffered in the 2000's when she released 2005's Confessions on a Dancefloor album and was at the top of her game once again. Even the Hard Candy album of 2008 yielded a pretty massive single as well. Well done Madonna, you've cracked it!Or had she, soon things started to get pretty messed up in here personal life, a divorce from cockney, wide boy movie director Guy Ritchie was a right slap in the facking noggin... or something. And by the time she was pimping herself out on Facebook for people to collab with in 2011, it looked like another wobble was on its way.It was when the title for her comeback album was released that things took a serious turn for the worst though, the clunky MDNA made people worry she was trying too hard, and when the album arrived and sold less than a 5th of Confessions... the "Is Madonna past it" discourse started up again. A decade later though, is MDNA that bad? Well, we'll let you know.

Dori has better friends than Paulo and she rubs it in his face by reviewing Deacon Blue in concert. Paulo wants to create a George Michael economy which leads to possibly the best discovery in the history of this show. Paulo names so many sex tapes which prompts Dori to talk about Saltburn - possibly the name of a sex tape. Are we about to get a hologram remake of ‘'Do they know it's Christmas''? Madonna Louise Ciccone is the undisputed “Queen of Pop”, and arguably the most influential female songwriter of all time. Her body of work includes countless hit songs, iconic music videos, award-winning acting performances, bestselling books, and more. She is the best-selling female artist of all time, and the highest-grossing solo touring artist in history. She is also no stranger to controversy. Her tumultuous public relationships and her history of pushing the envelope have us asking the question: Is Madonna the worst?
Dave Hanratty and David Higgins return to the world of musical cinema with a full-on epic non-stop music video in the form of Alan Parker's Evita. The film tells the life story of Eva Duarte as she goes from working class youth to B-movie sensation to political titan, emerging as both the most beloved and hated woman in Argentina along the way. Does the constant barrage work? Is Madonna any use? How about Antonio Banderas, whose character might be a ghost of some description? The music is certainly bizarre, but is it enjoyable? All this and more up for debate... ACT ONE: What We've Been Watching in which the boys finally get around to talking about Tenet, among other highlights. ACT TWO (17:32): All things Evita. MADONNA Before there was Britney. Before there was Beyonce. Before there was Gaga. There was one woman who reigned the radio waves in the 80s and 90s — Her Madgesty, now and forever the Queen of Pop. Ms. Ciccone is known for her iconic, chameleonic looks, and it just so happens that our hosts each gravitated toward a different era in her storied career. First, Becky goes bananas for I’m Breathless, the Broadway-inspired Dick Tracy soundtrack, and the revealing concert documentary Truth or Dare. Next, Chris whips his co-hosts into shape for the leather-heavy Sex/Erotica/Bedtime Stories period, which ignited a very sado-masochistic relationship between Madonna and the media. Last, Seth looks directly into the Grammy-winning Ray of Light, which introduced us to a softer, gentler, and much more geisha-like incarnation of the Material Girl. We were all crazy for at least one of these albums growing up, but what happens when we listen like virgins as adults? Is Madonna’s 90s oeuvre still something to remember, or should it invoke the power of goodbye and take a bow? Don’t just stand there, let’s get to it — it’s time to see if the best-selling female artist of all time can still justify our love.
