This episode is a masterclass in both men and women's hormonal health. These hormones in effect are the clocks of aging, so much so that biotech labs can now take a few data points, consult with AI and provide you with an almost exact time until major hormonal events like menopause. Which is crucially important because to optimize health and longevity the right type of hormonal support and treatment should be started years before that. This episode is for anyone wanting to understand how hormones are the backbone of overall health, aging slower, maintaining sexual function and looking younger for longer.Dr. Amy Killen, MD received her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical science from Texas A&M University and then her MD from UT Southwestern Medical School. Botox and fillers are everywhere right now, but are women choosing them for confidence or from pressure? In this episode of A Millennial Mind, aesthetic doctor Dr Pyal Patel talks about ageing, beauty standards, social media comparison and why so many women feel they need to look younger. We discuss preventative Botox in your 20s, the fear of falling behind, why everyone online seems to have the same face, and how to tell if cosmetic work is coming from self love or insecurity. This is not about shaming treatments. It is about understanding the psychology behind the choices we make about our faces.
Let's talk about it. Sadie and Korie are back with an honest, messy conversation about Botox, fillers, filters, and the pressure to be perfect. They open up about their own experiences — and why even sharing a clip can feel vulnerable. We scroll, we compare, and somehow feel like we're falling behind. Even the “natural” look isn't so natural anymore. The crazy part? Jesus addressed this obsession with perfection over 2,000 years ago, and it still hits today. Gelukkig is filler fatigue meestal omkeerbaar.

TALK TO ME, TEXT ITA children's Halloween parade turns chaotic, a 67-year-old citizen ends up with broken ribs, and we're left asking hard questions about power, timing, and proportionality. We walk through what the video shows, what officials say, and the choices that escalated a neighborhood operation into a community flashpoint. Could this arrest have happened differently—earlier, elsewhere, with less risk to bystanders? We don't settle for outrage or spin; we analyze trade-offs and how enforcement tactics shape public trust. Then the stakes feel smaller but the lesson is the same: signals matter. A traveler arrives for an American Airlines “flight” and discovers the first leg is actually a bus. The boarding pass had a plane icon. The gate displayed a flight number. The fine print whispered the truth. We break down how metasearch tools compress complexity, why airlines blend bus legs into hub feeds, and how to avoid the trap with simple booking hygiene: read the entire itinerary, verify equipment type, and when in doubt, book direct. Clearer UX—distinct icons, color coding, and upfront mode labels—would save thousands from surprise ground legs. Finally, we turn the mic on ourselves and tackle the rise of filler words—um, like, so—and the viral challenge to go 30 to 60 seconds without them. Fillers aren't villains; they buy time, signal turns, and soften tone. But overuse muddies ideas and undermines authority when it matters most. We share practical tools: slow your pace, embrace clean pauses, chunk thoughts, and replace filler clusters with purposeful transitions. Keep the identity; trim the noise. If you try the no-filler challenge, tell us your time and the word that trips you up.Enjoyed the conversation? If you know Gary Thompson, formerly known as The Plastic Boy, you're in for such a treat with this episode because Gary shares on everything. In this episode the content creator and makeup expert talks about why he began creating videos over 15 years ago on Youtube, why he called himself the Plastic Boy and why he chooses to be so transparent and open when it comes to his use of fillers and hair transplants, including his recent moustache transplant. I can't remember how long I've followed Gary, but I do know why I follow him; he's one of the most charismatic and sweet humans you could encounter online, and he's exactly the same in real life - he's not one of those weirdo influencers that will talk to you online and then stare at you blankly when you meet them IRL.Gary also shares on his early inspirations, how his Nan was the first family member to discover he was wearing makeup and how his family has always been accepting of his sexuality. He also shares some thoughtful insights on social media, especially being a dark skin black man working in the very white woman-focused world of beauty, as well as why he believes you should never clap back and of course he talks about the beauty brands he loves.LinksFollow Gary on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/garythompsonFollow Gary on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@ThePlasticBoyFollow Gary on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@garythompsonWHERE TO FIND MESubstack: https://thecharissereport.substack.comThreads: https://www.threads.net/@charisse_kenion/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/charisse_kenion/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@charissekenionCheck me out on ShopMy: https://shopmy.us/beautymeBusiness inquiries: info@charissekenion.com

Exosomes aren't just a buzzword, they're nanoscale messengers that deliver the body's own repair instructions. In this episode of Biohacking Beauty, we unpack the science of platelet-derived, or “vampire,” exosomes and how they go beyond conventional growth factors to target aging at its root. You'll learn how microRNA inside platelet exosomes can reduce senescence signals, trigger collagen and elastin renewal, and activate autophagy for deeper cellular repair. The hosts also explore how formulation stability, ingredient compatibility, and third-party quantification make or break an exosome product. If you've ever wondered how PRP exosomes compare to traditional PRP facials, or why pairing them with NAD-boosting actives can amplify skin longevity, this episode explains the real mechanisms behind the hype, helping you understand what it takes for skin to truly act younger, not just look it.What's Discussed:(00:00) Redefining Skin Longevity Through Cellular Repair(06:07) How Exosomes Became the Next Frontier in Regenerative Skincare(16:00) Why Platelet-Derived Exosomes Deliver the Most Potent Repair Signals(23:54) The Real Anti-Aging Data Behind PRP Exosomes(32:35) Exosomes vs. Retinoids, Fillers, and Lasers, What the Evidence Shows(46:30) Elevating Repair Capacity: Exosomes Meet Rejuve NADFind more from Young Goose:Vampire Exosomes: Experience the world's highest-potency exosome serum here → Vampire ExosomesUse code PODCAST10 to get 10% off your first purchase, and if you're a returning customer use the code PODCAST5 to get 5% off at https://www.younggoose.com/ Instagram: @young_goose_skincare
In this episode of The Plastic Surgery Revolution, Dr. Steven Davis explores how modern filler techniques and facelift surgery have evolved to complement — not compete with — each other. He addresses a common misconception that previous filler use might make future facelift procedures more difficult. Dr. Davis breaks down how the placement and depth of injectables truly matter, explaining that intradermal hyaluronic acid fillers, when done correctly, are entirely safe and even beneficial for skin quality. Using his trademark clarity and passion for teaching, Dr. Davis walks listeners through the anatomy of the skin — from the epidermis to the deeper layers beneath — to show how different treatments work on different levels. He describes how fillers “paint within the skin,” helping restore structure and vitality to the dermis, while facelift surgery works below that layer to reposition and tighten the underlying tissue. The result? A new understanding of how nonsurgical and surgical treatments can work in harmony to create natural, lasting rejuvenation. Listen now as Dr. Davis shares how today's most effective facial rejuvenation plans combine both science and artistry. EL wellness plan (Aug25): 7d detox>para protocol, clean gut prob., Healthy gut support, GSE drops>heavy metals detox. Eliminate: all in high+gluten, yeast (have not started yet). Am I on the right path and have you seen such cases in your practice? what is likely root cause? Thank you. Lisa: Can you recommend what to do or take if I experience abdominal pain or discomfort while vacationing in Europe later this fall? I'm concerned that access to the “right” foods might be tough while on the cruise and touring. Currently I'm in the last month of my CBO protocol and have also completed the 14 day detox and 7 day intestinal cleanse . All will be completed before I leave for Europe. Thank you, Lisa Susy: Hi dr Cabral, my minerals and metals test showed that my zinc is optimal and copper is very low even after supplementing with zinc and copper and the DNS for 3 months. But I've noticed that copper is usually not recommended on its own by an IHP. However I've heard some practitioners say that zinc can inhibit proper copper absorption or at least take longer to get optimal levels of copper if taken with zinc. What are your thoughts on that? Or is it possible to get to much zinc if I keep taking it together? Bettina: Hi Dr. Cabral, My husband recently purchased a testosterone supplement he came across—probably via Instagram—and I wanted to ask your opinion on the ingredients. Magnesium oxide Ginseng extract (Panax ginseng) Muira puama extract (Ptychopetalum olacoides) Fenugreek extract (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.) Fillers (microcrystalline cellulose) Zinc citrate Anti-caking agents (cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose, magnesium salts of fatty acids) Stabilizer (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose) Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) Black pepper extract (Piper nigrum) Coating agents (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, polyethylene glycol) Coloring agent (calcium carbonate) Do you think this combination is safe and potentially effective? Thanks for your help on this :-) Svetlana: Hello Dr.Cabral, after reading your book and listening to your podcasts I've made many positive changes to my lifestyle, one of them is taking the DNS for breakfast. I'm losing weight now (desired), but it takes me very long to finish the shake and I'm wondering if that's not a good thing in the long run since it keeps my insulin levels up without a break to my digestive system until lunch. It makes me feel very full, sometimes can't finish it until noon when I start it about 8:30am. At lunch time I'm still full and end up skipping lunch and eating supper at 5, no food after 7pm. I only put about 13oz of coconut water (or coconut milk mixed with water), 1 tbsp chia seeds, small handful of aronia berries and about 1/4 cup cauliflower in it. I used to eat 3 large meals and many snacks before Thank you for tuning into today's Cabral HouseCall and be sure to check back tomorrow where we answer more of our community's questions! - - - Show Notes and Resources: StephenCabral.com/3536 - - - Get a FREE Copy of Dr. Cabral's Book: The Rain Barrel Effect - - - Join the Community & Get Your Questions Answered: CabralSupportGroup.com - - - Dr. Cabral's Most Popular At-Home Lab Tests: > Complete Minerals & Metals Test (Test for mineral imbalances & heavy metal toxicity) - - - > Complete Candida, Metabolic & Vitamins Test (Test for 75 biomarkers including yeast & bacterial gut overgrowth, as well as vitamin levels) - - - > Complete Stress, Mood & Metabolism Test (Discover your complete thyroid, adrenal, hormone, vitamin D & insulin levels) - - - > Complete Food Sensitivity Test (Find out your hidden food sensitivities) - - - > Complete Omega-3 & Inflammation Test (Discover your levels of inflammation related to your omega-6 to omega-3 levels) - - - Get Your Question Answered On An Upcoming HouseCall: StephenCabral.com/askcabral - - - Would You Take 30 Seconds To Rate & Review The Cabral Concept? In this episode of The Plastic Surgery Revolution, Dr. Steven Davis takes on one of the most common—and often misunderstood—questions in aesthetic medicine: Should I get fillers or a facelift? Drawing on his in-office consultations and surgical experience, Dr. Davis explains the true relationship between these two approaches and why the decision isn't as simple as “one or the other.” He addresses the growing concern that previous filler treatments or non-surgical skin tightening procedures might make a future facelift more difficult. Dr. Davis clarifies that while certain treatments—such as radiofrequency tightening, Kybella, or Sculptra—can create denser collagen and mild scarring that make surgical dissection more technical, intradermal hyaluronic acid fillers (the most common type) are entirely safe and compatible with future surgery. He walks listeners through the anatomy of the skin, from the outer epidermis to the structural dermis below, using vivid imagery to explain how healthy collagen gives the skin that plump, youthful “baby cheek” look. According to Dr. Davis, placing filler within the dermis helps rebuild that structure—essentially “painting within the skin” to smooth fine lines, lift corners of the mouth, and restore a soft, natural texture. Ultimately, Dr. Davis emphasizes that a facelift and fillers serve different but complementary purposes. A facelift repositions and tightens deeper tissues, while fillers rejuvenate the skin itself. Together, they can produce more balanced, elegant results when used strategically. Before deciding on any treatment, Dr. Davis encourages patients to have a thoughtful consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who understands both the artistry and science behind these options.
In this episode, Dr. Gillian Lockitch and Dr. Cathy Goldstein uncover hidden truths of the beauty industry. While fillers, Botox, and injectables dominate today's aesthetic market, Cathy Goldstein explains how these treatments can interfere with facial expression, emotional intelligence, and even brain health. Instead, she advocates for a holistic approach—restoring natural energy flow, releasing stored trauma, and using frequency-based therapies that rejuvenate from the inside out. Listeners will gain new insights into how to age with authenticity, vitality, and self-connection without resorting to invasive procedures. Cathy Goldstein has been practicing integrative medicine since 1988, blending the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine with the cutting-edge science of frequency and energy healing. A life-threatening autoimmune illness led her from traditional medical training into her lifelong mission: to help women restore vitality, resilience, and radiance from the inside out. She is the founder of True Energy Skincare, a system that uses frequency-based therapies to rejuvenate appearance and emotional well-being naturally. Passionate about empowering women, Dr. Goldstein demonstrates that true beauty begins in the brain and blossoms through energetic balance.
