For the upcoming fourth edition of Sunday School, a ritual gathering of sonic blasphemy and rave-fuelled devotion, London-based musician Jim Janco steps into the pulpit with A Wilderness Mix—a cryptic sermon through weird, experimental and underground sounds. Janco, the mind behind People Drift—a roving techno night grounded in South East London's freeform spirit—has carved out a reputation for pushing dance music into stranger dimensions. His background weaves through the raw edges of DIY punk, the pulse of '90s techno, and the deep throb of sound system culture—a combination that informs every part of this mix. In this Wilderness Mix for SSIV, Janco charts a path through live instrumentation and synthetic tension. It's both personal and expansive, bridging old favourites with new discoveries. Janco's Wilderness Mix fully captures the Sunday School ethos: dark, devotional, and defiantly off-grid, an invitation to sink beneath the flicker of strobe and sacrilege. Sunday School IV: The Hand of Satan will take place from 19 to 20 April at New River Studios in London. It will feature Beau Wanzer, Container, Nic Krog, Brood x Cycles (Alex Tucker & Nik Void), Ireen Amnes, Severin Black, and many more.

Kom kuier saam.

Books we recommend (links go to messages on the topic): Single Dating Engaged Married by Ben Stuart The New Rules for Love, Sex, and Dating by Andy Stanly Here are the questions mentioned in the episode to help you evaluate: Relational questions: How do they treat their parents/friends? What are their friends like? How do they handle relational conflict with people? Are all their friends of the opposite sex? What is their last boy/girlfriend like? Why did it end? Have they ever told a significant other they love them? If so why are they not together anymore? Life management questions: Do they handle money well? or are they in major debt and STILL spending? Can they keep a job? Where are they headed? Why? Are they just talking about what they want to do or are they actually pursuing it? How well do they handle life when it's not going their way? Character questions: Are they honest? Are they hard-working and consistent? Do they have bad habits they say they will break and never do? Do they have a criminal record? Spirality questions: How spiritual are they really? Don't listen to what they say... watch what they do? When you are around them, are you challenged spiritually? Is there life-changing as a result of their relationship with Jesus? Thank you to College@12stone for these questions! We are joined by Holly Janco and Calvin Go who were members of the Godventure road trip this past summer that sparked the idea for this podcast. We reach over the proverbial cubicle wall and chat with the testers! Kenneth, Kevin & Len are joined by Janco Wolmarans and Oz Chihwayi to talk about their experiences of having software testers integrated into a multi-functional software delivery team. Oz shares with us how he went from running batch processes during the graveyard shift to become a software tester and a key member of his team. Janco tells us the most difficult thing he's done in his career is choose a title on LinkedIn! The idea for the show came about after Kenneth saw Janco & Oz give a talk at the DeveloperUG meetup. They've since taken this talk to Let's Test 2016 in Sweden, along with "vim for testers" and a workshop on flow. We talk about they formed such an integrated team, a team where the developers and testers have daily mob programming sessions. We also clarify the difference between automated software testing, or checking, and the roles of software testers in the team. The result is many lessons from a tightly integrated team, where everyone shares in the responsibilities and rewards of delivering solutions, even if some solutions never involve writing a single line of code.
