Keith Foster was a highly respected Deputy Police Chief in Fresno, California, known for his dedication to combating gang violence and drug trafficking. However, his career took a dark turn when he was found to be deeply involved in a drug trafficking ring, using his position to protect and facilitate the distribution of heroin, marijuana, and oxycodone. An extensive federal investigation revealed Foster's direct participation in these illegal activities, including orchestrating drug deals and manipulating law enforcement resources to shield his criminal enterprise. In 2016, he was convicted and sentenced to four years in federal prison, a sentence that many felt was too lenient given his betrayal of public trust.Foster's actions had profound implications for the Fresno Police Department and law enforcement as a whole, prompting a series of internal investigations and reforms aimed at preventing future corruption. His case highlighted the potential for abuse of power within police departments and underscored the need for robust oversight and accountability. Foster's story serves as a stark reminder of the corrosive effects of unchecked authority and the importance of integrity and transparency in maintaining public trust in law enforcement. His fall from grace remains a cautionary tale about the dangers of corruption within the ranks of those sworn to uphold the law.(commercial at 9:22)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

Dr. Keith Foster – Keith oversees the Contemporary Chaplaincy program at Waverley Abbey College and in this episode we draw connections between the work of chaplaincy and the 6 practices. How can contemporary chaplaincy be a useful framework for us as we respond to God's invitation to be true, be kind, and to go? For more information on chaplaincy check out this link: https://www.waverleyabbeycollege.ac.uk/contemporary-chaplaincy and watch this video https://youtu.be/BTnRsdGkTyU.
My guest is Keith Foster who was actually on my very first show. ( MPP 1 ) Keith is an ex police officer living in Atlanta, Georgia in the USA. Since his retirement he has been busy with a internet radio station together with a few ex colleagues and friends. It's called JFSM which means Jazz, Funk, Soul Movement and has grown tremendously in popularity also here in Europe. We will discuss the meaning of a village in these times the role that social media plays in today's society. Keith still does a lot for his church and community and sees that as his village to do his part and help others. Links: https://www.facebook.com/keith.foster. https://www.thejfsm.com
Show notes: In this solo episode I discuss the Little House Art Project art classes and Antonio Johnson (ADJ Design) and I teaching there in Southaven recently. Antonio was showing them how to use the art program Clip Studio Paint, and I showed the students how to draw sketchcards. "Little House Art Project began as an idea born of an art program for special needs children- but, why stop with artistically gifted, special needs teen? Many teens yearn for art instruction. Little House Art Project is an opportunity for all teens to learn more about fundamentals of art. Studies in light sources, painting still life, and more will be explored in this series of classes." I also share some event and Kickstarter news, talk about my latest Nosferatu sketchcards, and do some "Playing It Forward" when I mention the podcasts Supergirl Radio and Making Comics - two podcasts I listen to on a regular basis. I recommend checking them out, and thank them for either having me and Nicki on their show, or giving Drawing Funny a shout-out. Plus I recap some of Nicki's and my experiences during Free Comic Book Day 2022 around Memphis. (You can listen to our thoughts and interviews in Episode 41 – “FCBD Multitude Of Madness”.) It's time to bring back some of our previous guests for a little Decades Later Happy Hour reunion. This week, join us for the first part of our conversation with Jackie Holton, Keith Foster, and Brandon Cyrus as we share fun memories and the joys of getting older.
"Flash! Flash, I love you! But we only have fourteen hours to save the Earth!" Here we are people, I did promise - the latest episode of Betamax has taken me a month to edit (so much for deadlines) but I hope you'll agree that it's worth it. Marty from Thunderballs.org crashes his rocket into my podcast and brings a bevy of Bond links, Queen chat, Timothy Dalton swooning and plenty more. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Executive producers: Keith Foster, Jimi Fletcher, Mark Drakes, Matt Cunnington, Chris Hopkins, Omar Zambon, Ian Maddrell, Catrin Lowe, Mark Machin, Zoltan Vago, Simon Smith, Wayne McNally, Darren Hodgkins, Dan Wellington, Alex Heale, Philip Rothenberger, Alan Fewings, Tom Carr, James Kennedy, Simon Pegg, Jo Harrison, Anita Singh, Bobby Richmond Associate producer: Chris Oakley Visit www.patreon.com/BetamaxVideoClub for more information about bonus episodes, early access, discounted Betamax Video Club merchandise and more.
This week we spend some time with Keith Foster and get to hear about his adventures in acting and knitting! From Virginia to New York to Minnesota, Keith gives us a peek into his journey while recounting forgotten memories. He then shifts gears and decides to ask us the questions. You won't want to miss this conversation!
The first episode of My Positive Podcast is based on the theme word Giving. My three guests include Keith Foster, a retired police officer who now does voluntary community service work for the church and has an internet radio station with a few ex colleagues. My second guest is Lisandra Chachon, a young lady from Aruba now based in the Netherlands who is a body builder and personal trainer. My third guest is Al Rogers who has been a singer/songwriter in jazz and pop music and teaches kids with mental handicap problems. All three will share their stories and what giving means to them.
"This stage is no place for your personal shit, man!" Another first-time watch for me, I'm joined by who else but Prince superfan Catrin Lowe to watch a movie made of equal parts amazing and ludicrous... "Pimps is an ugly word. We could call ourselves love brokers." Welcome to the Night Shift, where Simon Smith and I will guide you through the finer points of working in a morgue, organising prostitution and hosting frat parties. At the same time... For those who haven't seen it, here is a link to the movie on YouTube https://youtu.be/7kKzH0hczGo. I hadn't seen it before (recurring theme of recent episodes) and without spoiling it, I thought it was great. "I suppose you're one of those fellows who does the Times crossword puzzle in ten minutes?" "I have *never* taken ten minutes." Welcome back for another Roger Moore love-in... This time he plays Rufus Excalibur ffolkes (two lower-case fs) in a role that some see as a polar opposite to his James Bond. Joining me as we seek to liberate Jennifer and Ruth from the waxy Norman Bates is Andrew Beasley (as mentioned, you can buy Andrew's book about Liverpool FC here) As also discussed, the movie is available to watch in full on YouTube here... "We don't just want to give kids with rare diseases hope, we want to give them a better life and better treatments." Keith Foster is the Chief Scientific Officer of Sutura Therapeutics, a company he founded to develop precision gene therapies for rare diseases, starting with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. Sutura is a genuinely patient-focused company, and if you've ever wondered what patient-centricity truly is, Keith's interview is a must-listen. Enjoy!
"Where do I stand for a corner kick?" One of the most keenly fought battles amongst my friends was who gets to be the guest on this episode - the winner was Adam Hurrey, the man behind Football Cliches (and podcast) and father of my youngest daughter's best friend, which in no way influenced the vote after a few beers at our local non-league ground (Worcester Park FC could quite easily have hosted the game to be honest). Join us as we romp through the tale of how three World Cup winners, Michael Caine, Sylvester Stallone and the UEFA Cup winning Ipswich squad secured a gallant 4-4 draw away to THE NAZIS. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Executive producers: Keith Foster, Jimi Fletcher, Mark Drakes, Matt Cunnington, Chris Hopkins, Omar Zambon, Ian Maddrell, Catrin Lowe, Mark Machin, Zoltan Vago, Simon Smith, Wayne McNally, Darren Hodgkins, Dan Wellington, Alex Heale, Philip Rothenberger, Alan Fewings, Tom Carr, James Kennedy, Simon Pegg, Jo Harrison, Anita Singh, Jason Clarkson Associate producer: Chris Oakley Visit www.patreon.com/BetamaxVideoClub for more information about bonus episodes, early access, discounted Betamax Video Club merchandise and more.
"A sequel! That's it! We'll bring it out on March 25, and we'll call it.... CHRISTMAS 2!!!!" Well, it's a little early, but 2020 has been so utterly bereft of joy that Catrin and I are bringing you the final episode of the year out a few days early as we revisit the glorious McDonalds advert "Santa Claus The Movie". Brought to you by the makers of Superman, the director of Supergirl and the young ragamuffin who... did nothing else but play Joe in this film. Hope you have the best Christmas possible with as many loved ones as you can safely spend time with. See you in 2021, thanks for all the support. The John Rambo trilogy (movies ceased to exist in 1990 other than the bonus episodes I do on Patreon) and Simon Smith returns to rescue me from a Soviet prison camp in the middle of Podcastistan and we don't even get any Steven Berkoff to make it easier... But your kids are going to love it" One of the all-time greats finally arrives on Betamax - and we go all the way back to 1985 to revisit a lot of people's favourite movie. "You improvise, adapt, overcome" Clint Eastwood makes his Betamax debut in the US Marine story where he plays a grumpy hero being mostly grumpy against young people, middle aged people and old people. Knock knock! One of the greatest movies of all time makes it's way to the podcast, the ultimate action/sci-fi/slasher hybrid with Schwarzenegger, Weathers, Ventura, Duke and a woman. This is Walter! Welcome back to The 'Burbs, where everything is not quite how it seems... Joining me for a trip to Averageville USA is film writer/fan Jimi Fletcher, whose work can be found at Fletch Talks and VHS Revival. Randomly, this was recorded and edited before the recent trailer for the upcoming Tom Hanks movie about "Mr Rogers", so this featuring a clip of Mr Rogers is very random indeed. There is a very slight "lo-fi" quality to my side of the record, owing to a dodgy back-up mic. Help me out by looking below... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Executive producers: Gary West, Fergus Higginson, Keith Foster, Jimi Fletcher, Mark Drakes, Matt Cunnington, Christian Deas, Andy Elliott. I’ve had a few optional extras installed... Timothy Dalton picks up the Walther and goes back to the beginning (the books at least). The first of Dalton's fine pair of 007 movies sees Alice Dryden climb into my cello case as we hurtle down the slopes of a movie that seems to have aged better than most, via the KGB, Afghanistan and a-Ha. One more Bond film left after this, but it's The 'Burbs next. In case you didn't see, there is an extended version of the A View To A Kill episode on Patreon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Executive producers: Gary West, Fergus Higginson, Keith Foster, Jimi Fletcher, Mark Drakes, Matt Cunnington, Christian Deas, Andy Elliott. "The world meets nobody halfway" A truck driver arm-wrestles his way towards custody of his estranged son. Joining me on the road to Las Vegas is Fergus Higginson, the man behind the hugely successful Manchester Classic Films, bringing movie greats (and Over The Top) to big screens in the Greater Manchester area. Bond is back in 1983's Octopussy - the year that pitched Moore against Connery (Moore won of course) and a crazy plot involving clowns, Faberge eggs and the Soviet Union invading the west. Back for refilling is Elizabeth Howlett, aka Bloggy Balboa. We do reference her previous appearance a few times (Cocktail), while Pierce Brosnan also returns.
