While We Make Movies, Wild Cards, and A Legacy of Whining really showcased some great independent filmmakers ability to tell a story without resorting to big budgets, studio interference or bad writers. While the worst movies of the year were not a surprise such as Transformers The Last Knight, The Dark Tower, Underworld, Geostorm and Chips. What are your thoughts on this list?

We're back! Hello everyone! So we got some new microphones. They don't sound as clear as the old ones, but the levels are consistent, there is no echo, and you can better understand what we are saying. So today we tackle "Let the Right One In" as well as discussing some recent releases that we have caught up on.

The Kingsmen are back, and Don and Josh duke it out in discussing the sequel's flaws and virtues. Does the wiping out of the previous film's character add to the film or detract from it? What do the guys make of the Statesmen? How screwed up is the American government (in this film)? California made slight progress with prisoner reform, prisoners who receive degrees can reduce sentences. Finally in wacky animal news, we see the return of Thug Whales. The chat this week is about recently released information about federal guidelines for poverty in the Bay Area. I hope you are sitting down these numbers may alarm you. In tv & movie news George Miller has 2 more Mad Max films in the can, he can gladly take our monies. Unbreakable is getting a sequel. While we didn't ask, this is great news for those that care. DC announces their very own streaming digital streaming service, along with a new live action Teen Titans series. Nightwing will be leading, Beast Boy will be on the roster as well. Young Justice season 3 will also air on the network. Will DC's network be added to your slew of services? We watched 2 trailers this week. 47 Meters Down and Kingsmen:The Golden Circle. Also 3 Fox Marvel movies will be released next year, Deadpool 2, New Mutants and a Dark Phoenix X-men film. This week's top 5 are musical acts we would like to see reunited. Despite the fact that these types of reunions is generally never the same, the magic is lost and everyone is disappointed. This year was an interesting year for movies. While there were some great films that came out, it seems that most of the year was disappointing when it came to the blockbusters and big budget movies. Logan, IT, Get Out, Thor Ragnarok, and The Disaster Artist were at the tops of our lists. The Last Jedi, Blade Runner, American Made, Kingsmen The Golden Circle, Three Billboards, Spider-Man Homecoming, John Wick 2, Logan Lucky, and Split all made a lasting impression. While We Make Movies, Wild Cards, and A Legacy of Whining really showcased some great independent filmmakers ability to tell a story without resorting to big budgets, studio interference or bad writers. While the worst movies of the year were not a surprise such as Transformers The Last Knight, The Dark Tower, Underworld, Geostorm and Chips. What are your thoughts on this list?
