Sabrina Gunnell, actrice et co-réalisatrice du film documentaire événement "Sacré-Coeur" était l'invitée de Room Service ce vendredi 07 novembre à 9h45. Elle nous a présenté ce documentaire fiction réalisé avec son compagnon, Steven Gunnell, ancien membre du boys-band Alliage. Le film explore la dévotion au Sacré-Cœur, telle qu'elle s'est développée en France et dans le monde à partir des visions de sainte Marguerite-Marie Alacoque, une religieuse visitandine de Paray-le-Monial au siècle de Louis XIV. Après avoir suscité une polémique, le long-métrage à petit budget rencontre un succès inattendu, dépassant les 340 000 entrées depuis sa sortie en salles le 1er octobre. Des projections en présence du couple Gunnell sont prévues notamment lundi 10 novembre au cinéma Le Majestic à Dole à 17h et au cinéma l'Empire à Paray le Monial mardi 11 novembre à 20h30.

Un casque aurait également été retrouvé sur place.Auditionnée au Sénat mercredi, Laurence des Cars, présidente-directrice du Louvre depuis 2021, a reconnu des failles dans la sûreté du musée : notamment un manque de caméras sur les façades de l'établissement. « J'assume totalement que nous avons une faiblesse dans la protection périmétrique du Louvre », a-t-elle affirmé. « Nous n'avons pas repéré suffisamment à l'avance l'arrivée des voleurs », a-t-elle concédé. « Les faiblesses de notre protection périmétrique sont connues et identifiées », a indiqué Laurence des Cars, assurant que le futur plan de sécurité permettrait de couvrir « l'ensemble des façades ».La ministre de la Culture, de son côté, a dénoncé les fausses informations circulant à ce sujet :Le dispositif de sécurité « a fonctionné ». « Les systèmes d'alarme ont été déclenchés à chaque effraction, et dès l'intrusion dans la salle, de la fenêtre aux vitrines ! Il révèle notamment que 60 % des salles de l'aile Sully et 75 % de celles de l'aile Richelieu ne sont pas équipées de vidéosurveillance.Mais au-delà du Louvre, ce sont les débats autour de la sécurité des musées en France qui sont relancés. Après avoir tiré des coups de feu, quatre individus, casqués, encagoulés et gantés, avaient fait main basse sur de précieux objets comportant de l'or, de l'ivoire et des pierres précieuses. Une partie seulement du butin a été retrouvée dans un sac, au fond de la rivière Arroux, en plein centre-ville de Gueugnon. La spiritualité du Sacré-Cœur a souvent été jugée désuète et doloriste, assimilée à une sensibilité traditionnelle et conservatrice. Chaque mois de l'année a son propre thème spirituel. Le mois de juin est celui du Sacré Coeur de Jésus. Nous devons l'expression "Sacré-Coeur" à une religieuse visitandine de Paray-le-Monial, sainte Marguerite-Marie Alacoque. Jésus lui apparait et lui demande de répandre cette dévotion et de la répandre. Ce culte liturgique se répandra peu à peu dans toute l'Eglise, encouragé par les papes Clément XIII (1765) et Pie IX (1856), avant d'aboutir à l'institution d'une fête du Sacré-Coeur-de-Jésus (vendredi de la 3ème semaine après la Pentecôte) par Léon XIII (1899). Le Sacré-Coeur a fait aussi l'objet d'une encyclique du Pape François : Dilexit Nos. Con motivo de los 350 años de las apariciones del Corazón de Jesús a Santa Margarita María de Alacoque en Paray le Monial, el Instituto del Corazón de Cristo en colaboración con la archidiócesis de Valladolid organizan un congreso internacional sobre el Corazón de Jesús: «Cor Iesu Spes Mundi», que tendrá lugar en Valladolid del 6 al 8 de junio de 2025. En esta edición de «En Perspectiva» el P. José María Alsina Casanova, HHNSSC, presidente del Instituto del Corazón de Cristo y superior general de la Hermandad de Hijos de Nuestra Señora del Sagrado Corazón, nos presenta el esquema del congreso y los motivos de iniciar este gran proyecto. La coincidencia del Jubileo de Paray le Monial con el Jubileo de la Redención «Peregrinos de la Esperanza» le han llevado a organizar este congreso. El papa Francisco, en la bula de convocatoria para el Jubileo ordinario 2025 decía: «La esperanza nace del amor y se funda en el amor que brota del Corazón de Jesús traspasado en la cruz» (Spes nos confundit, 3). Secundando estas palabras del papa, el congreso pretende ser un instrumento al servicio de la profundización teológica, la reflexión espiritual y la propuesta evangelizadora que, en la Iglesia, hoy y siempre, encuentra el camino que le conduce a la esperanza en el Corazón traspasado del Redentor.

And no one knoweth the Son, but the Father: neither doth any one know the Father, but the Son, and he to whom it shall please the Son to reveal him.Omnia mihi tradita sunt a Patre meo. Et nemo novit Filium, nisi Pater : neque Patrem quis novit, nisi Filius, et cui voluerit Filius revelare. ⁠ 28 ⁠Come to me, all you that labour, and are burdened, and I will refresh you.Venite ad me omnes qui laboratis, et onerati estis, et ego reficiam vos. ⁠ 29 ⁠Take up my yoke upon you, and learn of me, because I am meek, and humble of heart: and you shall find rest to your souls.Tollite jugum meum super vos, et discite a me, quia mitis sum, et humilis corde : et invenietis requiem animabus vestris. ⁠ 30 ⁠For my yoke is sweet and my burd St Margaret Mary Alacoque was born at Verosvres (France) in 1647 and entered the Order of the Visitation at Paray-le-Monial in 1671. Jesus appeared to her in numerous visions, displaying to her His Sacred Heart, sometimes burning as a furnace, and sometimes torn and bleeding on account of the coldness and sins of men. In 1675 the great revelation was made to her that she, in union with Father de la Columbiere, SJ, was to be the chief instrument for instituting the Feast of the Sacred Heart and for spreading devotion to the Sacred Heart throughout the world. She died on October 17th, A.D. 1690.

In 2011, in Paray le Monial, France, I had the chance to speak with Msgr. John Esseff at the First Sacred Heart World Congress.  Msgr. Esseff is one of the founders of the Sacred Heart Apostolate, sponsor of this event which brought laity, religious, and priests from around the world.  Talks were given by Cardinal Raymond Burke, Bishop Robert Herman, Christendom College President Timothy O'Donnell, and EWTN show host and author Fr. Mitch Pacwa, as well as many others  Why did they come to this small French community nestled in Eastern France?  Because our Lord choice this place and two very remarkably humble saints to communicate the message of his Sacred Heart.  He said to St. Margaret Mary:  "My Divine Heart is so inflamed with love for mankind ... that it can no longer contain within itself the flames of its burning charity and must spread them abroad by your means." She described that His Heart was on fire and surrounded by a crown of thorns. Our Lord told her that the flames represented His love for humanity, and the thorns represented man's sinfulness and ingratitude. Jesus informed her that her mission was to establish the devotion to His Most Sacred Heart, and He revealed twelve promises that He would bestow upon all those who practice the devotion. She had three more visions over the next year and a half in which Jesus instructed her in a devotion that was to become known as the Nine Fridays. Christ also inspired Margaret Mary to establish the Holy Hour and to receive Holy Communion on the first Friday of every month. In the final revelation, the Lord asked that a feast of reparation be instituted for the Friday after the octave of Corpus Christi. Blessed Claude de la Colombiere, a holy and experienced Jesuit, arrived as confessor to the nuns, and in him Margaret Mary recognized the understanding guide that had been promised to her in the visions. He became convinced that her experiences were genuine and adopted the teaching of the Sacred Heart that the visions had communicated to her. Msgr.
