The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the fourth and final session on Harry Dunn's Standing My Ground: A Capitol Police Officer's Fight for Accountability and Good Trouble After January 6th. Dunn is a privileged black male and has served with the U.S. Capitol Police since 2008 - the same year Barack Obama became president. Dunn was present for the infamous January 6th, 2021 Terrorist attacks at the U.S. Capitol building and reports that he was repeatedly called racist slurs and forced to use counter-violence to keep himself and others safe. Later in 2021, Dunn testified before the United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack. Dunn has now resigned his position with the Capitol Police Department and announced a run for Maryland's open Congressional seat. Last week, Dunn provided more details about what transpired on the day of the insurrection. He reminds listeners that many members of the hoard consumed alcohol and other narcotics while they stampeded through the Capitol building. Others defecated, vomited and urinated on the premises to demonstrate their fury over the allegedly stolen presidential election. Dunn demands that listeners question who told certain officers not to wear riot gear. Rather, they were instructed to store resources in a locked bus parked a considerable distance from the maelstrom. Apparently, distraught officers could not locate the bus key when the riot gear was needed. Dunn tells readers that this event is unprecedented in US history and has no comparison. Readers and Gus noted that this inaccurate. There were a number of riots at state capitols around the continent in 2020. In fact, a numerous reports describe the mob attacks in Idaho, Michigan and Oregon as practice for what was to come on Jan 6th. #MAGA #Trump #RachelPowell #TheCOWS15Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#

Earlier this year, Standing My Ground was published. Last week, Dunn authored a detailed account of what transpired on Jan. 6th, 2021. Dunn says for the first time in his career, which included a number of volatile protests, Capitol Police were issued helmets. He also noted that the Civil Disturbance Unit was curiously told to leave their equipment at a different location to be retrieved once things escalate - which obviously wastes time. During his morning commute to work, he received a text message which included a detailed account of the treasonous and violent intentions of the days insurrectionists. He dismissed the warning. Dunn says he and many other black officers were pelted with Racist insults - and bear spray. White female protesters Ashli Babbitt and Rosanne Boyland, who both died during the melée, were profiled. And Dunn offered heaps of sympathy for White junkie Boyland, who, contrary to many reports that she was trampled to death, overdosed in the middle of the coup. Officer Antonio receives much less humanity. Even after being injured on Jan 6th, officer Antonio, who is one of Dunn's trainees, still showed up to work on Jan 7th. #MAGA #Trump #TheCOWS15Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#

Earlier this year, Standing My Ground was published. Last week, Dunn frequently switched perspectives during the introduction - employing "you," "we," and "I." This confused a number of readers and incorrectly suggests that there is unified perspective on certain issues. The former college football player incorporates a robust amount of profanity into his memoir, and many listeners critiqued the foul language and cited that as a reason to not share this material with young children. Dunn invests time detailing his gridiron days and his love of tackle football and entertainment. In fact, he said that while providing security for some of the most powerful White people in the world, he would be counting down the hours to getting back to his PlayStation video game console. #BlackPolice #MiriamICarey #TheCOWS15Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#

Hello and welcome to The Rob Burgess Show. I am, of course, your host, Rob Burgess. On this our 240th episode our guest is Staff Sergeant Aquilino Gonell. Staff Sergeant Aquilino Gonell is a Dominican immigrant, former U.S. Army soldier and Iraq War veteran. For 17 years, he was a United States Capitol Police officer and was one of four police officers who testified before the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 insurrection. He's been featured on ABC, CBS, CNN, Telemundo, Univision and NPR, and in The New York Times, The Washington Post and El Diario. He is a recipient of the Congressional Gold Medal and the Presidential Citizens Medal. The book he co-wrote with Susan Shapiro, “American Shield: The Immigrant Sergeant Who Defended Democracy,” was published Nov. 7 by Counterpoint Press. A quick programming note: The interview section of this episode is about 40 minutes long, after which I'll come back to read a quick additional statement from Staff Sergeant Gonell. Then, for the last part of the episode, I'll be including Staff Sergeant Gonell's complete testimony before the United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack, which he delivered July 27, 2021. After our conversation, I asked Staff Sergeant Gonell if he had any additional statements he wanted me to include in the episode. This is what he sent me: “The book is not just about January 6. It's about sacrifices and dedication to duty. I spent 23 years of my life as a public servant in the military and as a police officer, where I protected the country, at home and abroad, faithfully and honorably. I have overcome many obstacles, challenges and adversities. I thought I had it all figured out. Then January 6 happened. I lost my career, my health and my beliefs in American principles and values, creating a moral injury as well. I did what I signed up for and kept my oath. Yet, those same people I protected, the Republicans, tell me that what I lived through was not real or that it wasn't that bad.” I want to quickly thank Staff Sergeant Gonell once more, along with the other United States Capitol Police officers who testified and continue to speak out. fWotD Episode 2392: Assassination of John F. KennedyWelcome to featured Wiki of the Day where we read the summary of the featured Wikipedia article every day.The featured article for Wednesday, 22 November 2023 is Assassination of John F. Kennedy. On November 22, 1963, John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, was assassinated while riding in a presidential motorcade through Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas. Kennedy was in the vehicle with his wife, Jacqueline, Texas Governor John Connally, and Connally's wife, Nellie, when he was fatally shot from the nearby Texas School Book Depository by former U. S. Marine Lee Harvey Oswald. The motorcade rushed to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where Kennedy was pronounced dead about 30 minutes after the shooting; Connally was also wounded in the attack but recovered. Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson assumed the presidency upon Kennedy's death. After the assassination, Oswald returned home to retrieve a pistol; he shot lone Dallas policeman J. D. Tippit shortly afterwards. Around 70 minutes after Kennedy and Connally were shot, Oswald was apprehended by the Dallas Police Department and charged under Texas state law with the murders of Kennedy and Tippit. At 11:21 a.m. on November 24, 1963, as live television cameras covered Oswald's being moved through the basement of Dallas Police Headquarters, he was fatally shot by Dallas nightclub operator Jack Ruby. Like Kennedy, Oswald was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he soon died. Ruby was convicted of Oswald's murder, though the decision was overturned on appeal, and Ruby died in prison in 1967 while awaiting a new trial. After a 10-month investigation, the Warren Commission concluded that Oswald assassinated Kennedy, and that there was no evidence that either Oswald or Ruby was part of a conspiracy. Four years later, New Orleans DA Jim Garrison brought the only trial for Kennedy's murder, against businessman Clay Shaw; Shaw was acquitted. Subsequent federal investigations—such as the Rockefeller Commission and Church Committee—agreed with the Warren Commission's general findings. In its 1979 report, the United States House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) concluded that Kennedy was likely "assassinated as a result of a conspiracy". The HSCA did not identify possible conspirators, but concluded that there was "a high probability that two gunmen fired at [the] President". The HSCA's conclusions were largely based on a police Dictabelt recording later debunked by the U. S. Justice Department.Kennedy's assassination is still the subject of widespread debate and has spawned many conspiracy theories and alternative scenarios; polls have found that a majority of Americans believe there was a conspiracy. The assassination left a profound impact and was the first of four major assassinations during the 1960s in the United States, coming two years before the assassination of Malcolm X in 1965, and five years before the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Kennedy's brother Robert in 1968. Kennedy was the fourth U. S. president to be assassinated and is the most recent to have died in office. This recording reflects the Wikipedia text as of 00:37 UTC on Wednesday, 22 November 2023.For the full current version of the article, see Assassination of John F. We've got a MAGA alert agenda this week: Michigan Republicans have a battle of election deniers for chair of their party.  Some top Michigan Republicans want to draft charisma-challenged Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to lead the 2024 ticket.  In Ottawa County, the MAGA takeover of the Republican Party is on full display with a purge of county officials who aren't radical enough for the new county commission.  And the MAGA wing is looking at a takeover of some mid-Michigan school boards.  The MAGA-craziness is on display in DC as well, with reality-adjacent people like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Jim Jordan now into power positions in the U.S. House…which also features a couple of committee assignments for the Congressman currently known as George Santos. Joining the conversation this week is former Republican Denver Riggleman of Virginia. A former Air Force officer and National Security Agency contractor, Riggleman was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 2018. He was defeated in his bid for reelection in 2020, losing to Republican primary challenger Bob Good in a drive-through party convention.  Riggleman co-authored a book with Hunter Walker titled, The Breach, which was published in October of 2022. The book detailed his work on the United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack. He is the only member of the Republican party to speak on the House of Representatives floor against QAnon. He is a co-sponsor of 2020 US House resolution "Condemning QAnon and rejecting the conspiracy theories it promotes". He is also one of the co-authors of the Network Contagion Research Institute report called "THE QANON CONSPIRACY: Destroying Families, Dividing Communities, Undermining Democracy" which he wrote before the January 6 storming of the US Capitol. On June 28, 2022, explosive public testimony was delivered by a former Trump Administration aide named Cassidy Hutchinson in front of the United States House Select Committee investigating the January 6th attacks. Hutchinson's testimony corroborated and deepened the Committee's case that President Trump had led the attacks. In addition, Hutchinson divulged an extraordinary anecdote in which, after learning that his attorney general, William Barr, had refused to back Trump's claims of election fraud, Trump purportedly slammed a plate against a wall; according to Hutchinson, the wall was dripping with ketchup. The 45th president himself seems to have been watching Hutchinson's testimony in real-time, because immediately after it aired, he dashed off a flurry of enraged posts on an obscure social media site, Truth Social, which he founded in late 2021 after Twitter and Facebook banned his accounts following January 6th. Trump's comments about Hutchinson quickly circulated on the more popular and mainstream social media platforms, but their users could not directly interact with Trump's incendiary content unless they also had accounts on the strangely named (and uncannily designed) Truth Social. On this episode, Calvin and Alex dig into Truth Social in real-time–so you don't have to. What is it? How does it work? Which accounts (other than Trump's) are most popular there? How does its glossary define “Truth”? Is all of the content shared on TS overtly right-wing propaganda, or is there more benign stuff as well? (And if there is, what does it look like?) We answer all of these questions and more, in addition to providing context about Trump's recent legal maneuvering in relation to the site, as well as complaints from some of its users that censorship and “shadow banning” are just as much problems there as on Facebook and Twitter. We close by breaking down the strange philosophical notions of “truth” promulgated both within the conservative movement and in more liberal approaches to “fact-checking”, and we argue that for all of its flaws, at least in its terminology Twitter doesn't claim to be offering anything other than what it is: a collection of random bird sounds that may or may not mean anything. The United States House Select Committee investigating the January 6th 2021 attack are holding public hearings airing on TV. There have been two hearings on January 6th so far. The committee showed video footage during the first hearing on June 9th, 2022 of moments leading up to the attack on the capitol. In the video footage they showed then on June 9th were parts of the actual Insurrection attack on the Electoral Certification with a joint session of Congress featuring all members of Congress and then Vice President Mike Pence. We know January 6th 2021 as the day Democracy was nearly taken away from America. These hearings will inform the American public about how Former President Donald Trump orchestrated this attack to make sure Biden was not declared the official winner in the 2020 American Presidential election. As we all know from November 2020's election Donald Trump never officially conceded the race to President Joe Biden. There will be more findings and information we did not know to come out of these public hearings. Stay tuned to these January 6th hearings to find out more! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/nrodyunknown/message

The big takeaway is new and overwhelming evidence that January 6 was an inside job and that Representative Scott Perry, Republican of Pennsylvania and Representative Andy Biggs, Republican of Arizona along with several other Republican members of congress conspired to overturn the election and then, after January 6th, asked Donald Trump for a presidential pardon before he left office.  Guests With Time Codes (00:25) David Does the News: January 6 goes Prime Time; (1:04:07) "USA of Distraction" written and performed by Professor Mike Steinel (1:11:37) Prof. Sheryll Cashin (author of "White Space, Black ‘Hood: Opportunity Hoarding and Segregation in the Age of Inequality") Sheryl Cashin is Professor of Law at Georgetown University, where she teaches Constitutional Law, Race and American Law, and other subjects. Tuesday - 1/11/22 - CONSPIRACY WEEK! - JFK AssassinationThe assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, and the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald by nightclub owner Jack Ruby spawned numerous conspiracy theories. These theories allege the involvement of the CIA, the Mafia, Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson, Cuban Prime Minister Fidel Castro, the KGB, or some combination of these entities. The original FBI investigation and Warren Commission report, as well as an alleged "benign CIA cover-up", have led to the claim that the federal government deliberately covered up crucial information in the aftermath of the assassination. In 1964, the Warren Commission concluded that Oswald acted alone in assassinating Kennedy. In 1979, the United States House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) concluded that Kennedy was probably assassinated in a conspiracy and that Oswald did not act alone. The HSCA concluded a second gunman also fired at Kennedy, based on acoustic evidence that was later discredited.Let's get all off in it!Join us LIVE weeknights at 7p CT/8p ET on YouTube, Facebook, OpsLens, Mojo 5-0 Radio, iHeartRadio, and Spreaker.com.###Follow Us:https://abnormalrealities.comhttps://twitter.com/abnormalshowhttps://instagram.com/abnormalrealitieshttps://facebook.com/abnormalrealitiesSupport our Show:https://www.abnormalrealities.com/shophttps://www.abnormalrealities.com/donate#JFK #JFKAssassination #ConspiracyWeek #Paranormal #UAP #UFO #SpiritBox #GhostVoices #AbnormalRealities #RonPhillips #RocciStucci #Mojo50 #OpsLens #Bigfoot #Conspiracy #ConspiracyTheories #WhatTheHellIsThat

Some rather incidental examples of the operations of this structure are very revealing, just because they are incidental. For example, it set up in Princeton a reasonable copy of the Round Table Group's chief Oxford headquarters, All Souls College. This copy, called the Institute for Advanced Study, and best known, perhaps, as the refuge of Einstein, Oppenheimer, John von Neumann, and George F. Kennan, was organized by Abraham Flexner of the Carnegie Foundation and Rockefeller's General Education Board after he had experienced the delights of All Souls while serving as Rhodes Memorial Lecturer at Oxford. In England the center was the Round Table Group, while in the United States it was J P Morgan and Company or its local branches in Boston, Philadelphia and Cleveland. The plans were largely drawn by Tom Jones, one of the Round Table's most active intriguers and foundation administrators." - Prof. Carroll Quigley, (Tragedy and Hope, Pg.953) (See connection: Institute of Advanced Study + Cybernetics) (Person) Abraham Flexner (on Wikipedia) (Search) Thomas D.
