”Vi ska hjälpa till så vi kan gå från ord till handling!” Ann-Marie Wennberg Larkö, ordförande för Nationella vårdkompetensrådet berättar om den nationell plan där rådet analyserat kompetensförsörjningsbehovet. Viktiga aspekter som betonas är behovet av ökad medicinsk kompetens inom den kommunala vården, VFU-platser i hela landet, fortbildning på arbetstid, tydliga karriärvägar, introduktionsprogram för nya medarbetare och tillvaratagande av senior kompetens. 

”Det finns en stor medvetenhet och ett stort engagemang att driva på utvecklingen.” Veckans avsnitt handlar om kompetensförsörjning och behovet att verksamhetsförlagd utbildning, VFU. Hans Wiklund, universitetsdirektör Umeå universitet och regeringens samordnare för fler VFU-platser åt blivande sjuksköterskor pratar i podden om behovet här och nu men också om hur framtidens VFU ska se ut.

I det 325:e avsnittet blev trion en duo och dagens fokus hamnade på en handbok, en barometer, en rapport och ett seminarium. Förutom det vanliga nyhetssvepet samt några väl valda digitala tips handlar veckans avsnitt därför om praktisk EdTech a´la Richard Byrne, vem som har makten på sociala medier, hur barnen egentligen använder Internet och hur digitaliseringen ur ett VFU-perspektiv kan te sig. Även denna vecka är det mesta sig likt då det blir ett samtal om skola, digitalisering och lite annat. 

I detta generösa avsnitt samtalar Veronica Ramirez-Johansson (specialistsjuksköterska inom operationssjukvård) och Caroline Bjarnevi (nyutexaminerad sjuksköterska). Avsnittet är extra intressant både för dig som är handledare och dig som är sjuksköterskestudent.  Du får ta del av deras sina tankar och erfarenheter kring handledning, VFU (verksamhetsförlagd utbildning) och betydelsen av nyfikenhet och engagemang.  Vilka egenskaper är viktiga hos en handledare, hur kan man utvecklas som handledare och hur är det att gå från handledare till att bli handledd?

I läsårets sista avsnittet väcker de båda pedagogerna liv i det bejublade segmentet 5 av 10. Även denna vecka är Patrik Landström med via länk. Det bjuds på ett uppvärmningssnack om rörelsemönster i klassrummet, svårigheten att bedöma digitala elevarbeten och det faktum att AI snart är för intelligent, innan de tar sig an årets 5 av 10. Hans vänder sig till Johan och undrar helt enkelt vilka digitala färdigheter han tycker en VFU-student bör ha. Patrik utmanar Hans i ämnet skoldebatt. Vilka områden tycker Hans att vi ska värna om eller rent av prioritera. Avslutningsvis släpper Johan bomben om att han till hösten ska byta arbetsplats. Johans fråga handlar till viss del om att byta jobb då han vill veta vad Patrik, i sin roll som skolchef, tycker är viktiga egenskaper vid en nyrekrytering. I läsårets sista avsnitt är sig dock det mesta sig likt då det blir ett samtal om skola, digitalisering och lite annat. 

Det åttonde programmet i sva-podden handlar om den verksamhetsförlagda utbildningen, VFU, som är en är en av hörnstenarna i lärarutbildningen. Den verksamhetsförlagda delen ska tillsammans med den universitetsförlagda delen skapa en helhet. Oavsett vilken lärarexamen studierna syftar till så ingår verksamhetsförlagd utbildning. Med mig i programmet är Annika Liljemark som är lärare i svenska som andraspråk på Fuxernaskolan i Lilla Edet och studenten Jane Linne som läser till ämneslärare i svenska som andraspråk och engelska på Högskolan Väst. Vi pratar bland annat om tankar inför och under ett bedömningsbesök, om lärandet för både handledare, studenter och lärosäten. Vi talar också om sva-lärares viktiga roll som förebild för många elever.

We are back at it today, speaking with Chris Tenaglia of Valiant Group America, as he brings his unique experience of the construction side of the cannabis industry to light. Valiant is a vertically integrated team, meaning they have professionals from all aspects of the construction industry, in-house. This eases confusion throughout the entire process, and makes for great communication throughout the company and for the client. Chris, the chief operating officer of Valiant, speaks with us today about his experiences at Valiant and calls out the bullshit he's had to deal with throughout his time in the industry. 3 Lessons Learned: The expense differences and effects of growing cannabis in different climates, specifically the NorthEast. With drastic changes in humidity and temperature throughout the year in the east, compared to the dry, sunny climate in the west, east coast facilities usually have to double up on most of their supplies and equipment. Massachusetts has one of the highest percentages of testing regulations for mold in the cannabis industry. This is due to the area's high humidity. Vet whoever you are hiring in this industry - especially as a consultant. The wrong advice will cost you millions in this industry, as Chris and I have seen from firsthand experience, and you need to make sure your employees and associates are legitimate, with real experience that is backed up by a reference/   List of Topics/subjects discussed: Valiant Group and their vertically integrated team. Difficulties with growing in different regions throughout the United States, specifically in the northeast and how that effects cost Compliance and regulatory changes on the east coast as compared to the west coast Valiant Group's partnership with Agrify Agrify's vertical farming unit (VFU) and how it can benefit you in the long run. LED vs. HPS Lights In Valiant's customer base, how many are people fixing their mistakes compared to people starting off on their company on the right foot? What is the easiest state to grow in? Lighting and regulations specifically with electricity. The difficulty of licensing on the east coast, especially when entering the market (if you can) Cannabis cultivation is not a normal construction build. Why? Issues between growers and owners when building a facility and their lack of understanding. The importance of recognizing con-consultants and vetting out your potential employees. The structure allows Valiant to train all of their own employees instead of hiring subcontractors.  This maximizes quality of work and minimizes the timeline of each project. Most recently, Valiant was selected as the primary distributor and installer for Agrify, a high-tech firm specializing in state-of-the-art, software-controlled cannabis vertical farming units and modular containers. Christopher Tenaglia, Chief Operating Officer of Valiant, has extensive leadership experience over various industries including finance, production and construction. His relevant qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Colby-Sawyer College, an unrestricted construction supervisor license, a Class A commercial driver's license, and OSHA 30. Když se chce člověk věnovat zvířatům i na vysoké škole, je hned několik možností, kam se vydat. A jelikož podcast zaměřený na studium veteriny už proběhl pár měsíců zpátky se Sabčou Blahutovou, která vystudovala VFU a aktuálně učí na střední veterinární škole, nastal čas jít s kůží na trh i pro mě. V tomhle díle podcastu shrnuji svoji cestu od základky na bakalářský obor Speciální chovy na ČZU. A je to tak trošku osobní díl, protože jsem v něm shrnula nejen své poznatky o tom, jaká měla pro mě ČZU klady a zápory, ale taky to, jak jsem se vůbec donutila školu dodělat a proč si myslím, že je tolik důležité soustředit se právě na VŠ především na svoje cíle a sny a ne dělat něco "protože se to ode mě čeká".
