Welcome to Episode 97 of 2414! In this 10th installment of the Vibrant Conversations Deck series, Pastor Dan and Shane are back—just the two of them—for a hilarious, heartfelt, and hunger-inducing episode. They dive into everything from home buying stress to the theology of knocking on wood, from Outburst games on human sacrifice (yes, really) to Wits & Wagers trivia on Oprah and cable channels. But the highlight? A single card from the deck:"What's one adventurous thing you've eaten? Share about the meal."What follows is a food storytelling marathon that ranges from fermented shark in Iceland to cat food in college, with pit stops for burrito burgers, Wagyu, wasabi edamame, and even hot chocolate floats. Through humor and humility, the conversation reveals how even meals can carry meaning—and how the weirdest foods can lead to the richest stories. If you're looking to enhance your own conversations or simply want to explore these engaging topics further, you can grab your own Vibrant Conversations Deck here:

Send us a textHello and welcome to our show. In this episode, we kicked things off with weird food combinations, including the infamous mayo, peanut butter, and pickle sandwich—is it a hidden gem or a crime against food? We also tested peanut butter on a burger to see if it's a game-changer or a disaster. Then, we tackled something most people struggle with—taxes! Turns out, the majority of people don't fully understand them and might be making costly mistakes.Next, we exposed the dirtiest thing in your kitchen—spoiler: it's filthier than your toilet seat. You won't believe what's lurking in plain sight. From there, we met a woman who makes her chickens “pay rent” with their eggs—and she's not afraid to lay down the law if they stop producing! We also uncovered some shocking shower habits, including whether peeing in the shower is gross or totally normal (turns out, 75% of people do it!). Plus, how long should a shower really take? Finally, we got into the age-old debate: Is flirting cheating? Where do you draw the line, and does intent matter? We share our thoughts and hear what others think about this controversial topic. Don't forget to text us or leave us a message with Speakpipe. Send us a textHello and welcome to our show. In this episode, we dive into some weird food combinations, including our dinner of spaghetti tacos and enchiladas—surprisingly delicious! For dessert, we tried strawberries with sour cream and brown sugar (don't knock it till you try it). Then, we shifted gears to the upcoming April Fools' Day, playing a game of real vs. fake news, featuring real newspaper headlines that sound totally made up. Some of these stories were so bizarre, they felt like pranks! Finally, we tackled a wild ethical dilemma: Would you split a winning lottery ticket with someone who stole your credit card to buy it? The answers might surprise you!Would love to hear your thoughts—do any of these titles work for you?Don't foget you can text us or leave us a message on Speakpipe. This week we talked about weird food combos that you like! Anna has Raven try the weird combos his favorite may shock you! Anna was on a plane last week and the woman next to her took off her shoes. When Anna told everyone during a meeting, Producer Julie said that was normal…? Get the whole story! Across the country $300,000 will get you a $1500 square foot house! Anna, Raven, and Producer Justin share what their first place cost them! Producer Julie just got her first apartment a few months ago and pays WAY more than the others did 20 years ago! Are you up to date on this week's biggest news story? Anna and Raven will get you caught up on the trending news stories including the new drug that will slow down aging in dogs! Egg prices are sky high, but how do you elongate the shelf life of eggs? Anna found the solutions! They may not be the most conventional, but they apparently work! Are you up to date on this week's biggest news story? Anna and Raven will get you caught up on the trending news stories including the all-female crew who will be going to space and it's not who you would think, and Shrek 5 that will be out in 2026! The average temperature is 98.6% but apparently that data is no longer accurate! Anna checks everyone's temperature and everyone's temperature are low! Anna says for all you do, and all you put up with this week, you've earned yourself a drink. What did you do to earn your Mommy Margarita? Liam and Maggie's ten-year-old daughter wants to have a Sephora birthday party with six of her friends. They would go to Sephora, get make-up applications, shop together, then go out to lunch. Mom thinks it's fine, kids have been doing it, and that's what the girls are into. Dad thinks it's ridiculous. No child should have a makeup birthday party, she can have a sleepover or something age appropriate. He doesn't condone the tween makeup generation at all. What do you think? Elvis has a chance to win $8000! All he has to do is answer more pop culture questions than Raven in Can't Beat Raven!
Anna just got back from vacation and got on the scale! She saw the outcome of her guilty pleasures! Chef Plum reacts to some of the weirdest guilty pleasure food combinations! Photo Credit: Getty Images
