Selon *The Verge*, Nintendo aurait proposé un accord à « gdkchan », créateur de l'émulateur Ryujinx, pour cesser son développement et supprimer tous les éléments liés au projet. Résultat : la page de téléchargement de Ryujinx est vide, son dépôt GitHub a disparu, et ses réseaux sociaux ont fait leurs adieux. « Hier, gdkchan a été contacté par Nintendo et on lui a proposé de stopper le projet et de supprimer toute l'organisation », explique un développeur et modérateur sur le Discord officiel de Ryujinx. « L'organisation a été supprimée, il semble donc que l'accord ait été accepté. »Cette fermeture soudaine soulève des questions sur l'avenir de l'émulation et la préservation des jeux vidéo. Ryujinx, perçu comme intouchable, notamment en raison de la localisation supposée de son développeur principal au Brésil, a finalement cédé face à la pression de Nintendo. Ce retrait n'est probablement pas anodin : Ryujinx avait récemment attiré l'attention en permettant de jouer à *The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom* sur PC, avec des performances parfois supérieures à celles de la Switch. La fermeture de Ryujinx met également fin à des projets prometteurs, notamment un portage iOS fonctionnel et une version Android presque prête. Des améliorations de performances et de compatibilité étaient également en développement. « Nous avons toujours privilégié la perfection plutôt que la rapidité », déclare un membre de l'équipe.Nintendo semble aussi étendre son combat contre l'émulation à d'autres créateurs de contenu. Today I was interviewing Gymnast86, a runner who is very known in all 3D Zelda games. He is not only a phenomenal runner of these games he also is one of the community members who really pushes the developement of the Zelda Speedruns. Not only was he one of the first runners who really imporved Zelda Wind Waker HD, he also was the guy who found the big gamebreaking glitch in Zelda Skyward Sword and helped improving the Any% time by more than 2 hours! He shares how he got started with Zelda speedrunning and how he would start today, so for everybody interested in those games he shares a lot of valuable tips on how to get started. At the end he also shares the story of how glitch hunting works which was a personal highlight of this episode. Nintendo finally did it… they finally revealed the 'NX'… and Negative World is here to talk about it!
