A review we have been dreading is upon us. This game is the reason we critique nearly every developer for allowing a triple-monitor resolution; while not actively optimizing the quality to at least somewhat support it. If a game can't be played at 5760 x 1080, we understand, it's an unusual resolution, and there are far more normalized resolutions to support. That being said though, if you offer it as an option, we do expect it to work.Griping aside, today's review is of the 2014 blockbuster FPS, Call of Duty: Ghosts by Infinity Ward / Activision. Steam Description: Outnumbered and outgunned, but not outmatched. Call of Duty®: Ghosts is an extraordinary step forward for one of the largest entertainment franchises of all-time. This new chapter in the Call of Duty® franchise features a new dynamic where players are on the side of a crippled nation fighting not for freedom, or liberty, but simply to survive. Now obviously we have played this game more in the past (entirely on console as it was one of those games that came out for the PS3 and Xbox 360, and offered an upgrade to the PS4/Xbox One systems); however, the PC version is what provided us the experience and knowledge of what a VAC Ban was on Steam, and how there is nothing you can do to fight it / reverse it. This is the second Call of Duty review we have done, and unlike the first, we are not able to do a review on the multiplayer PC community, as it no longer operates for us.Anyways, saltiness aside, welcome back to the Never Ending Backlog, thanks for joining us.Important Links:Developer Website: https://www.infinityward.com/homePublisher Website: https://www.activision.com/homeSteam Store: https://store.steampowered.com/app/209160/Call_of_Duty_Ghosts/
Kyle of Duty: Ghost of Kenosha has retained the legal services of Nick Sandmann's attorney Linn Wood, which comes as a welcome white pill to everyone right of Elizabeth Warren. Also, the criminal complaint against Kyle Rittenhouse, the American hero who bravely and selflessly protected the Kenosha community against pedophiles, woman beaters, felons, and black bloc terrorists, has been published. Prosecutors for the Kenosha DA's office didn't even TRY to make it look good. The probable cause cited in the complaint is itself exculpatory, making it clear that this is, in fact, a political prosecution -- a "Democrat witch hunt", as Sean Hannity might say. Meanwhile... Antifa, Neocons, the Democrat Party, the mainstream media, left libertarians, and cartoon Nazi fedposters are united in their condemnation of Kyle Rittenhouse as either a "bootlicker" (Antifa, left libertarians, fedposters) or a MiLiTiA MeMbEr (Neocons, the media, Democrats.) It's almost as though these people are all united by a common goal of demoralizing and disarming patriotic Americans... For this episode, we're going to deconstruct the ridiculous criminal complaint against Kyle that no serious prosecutor would ever voluntarily file. This is EPISODE 508 of So to Speak w/ Jared Howe!

In episode nineteen of Attack the Backlog, Marc uses ghosting to break up with Call of Duty: Ghosts, a...Call of Duty game, you know what that means; however, if you don't, it's a first-person shooter that is, sometimes, a first-person doggy throat-ripping simulator. Call of Duty: Ghosts originally came out on November 5th, 2013 and is currently available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and everyone's favorite system: the Wii U. Anyway, something-something Langy and Routhy, cheers and enjoy the show.

Well anyways we're here now, and we've got a doozy of an episode for you, wherein we tackle the most prestigious and worst written bad blurbs imaginable, the blurbs for the Oscar nominees. Rogue Legacy (Very difficult but fun, maybe not for you if you are as bad at reflex games as Alice is) What are we looking forward to? Super Smash Bros for the Wii U Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns

The first full week of January definitely did not lack for anything to talk about as the Furious Fourcast crew fields a viewer question about Call of Duty: Ghosts that turns into a discussion about the Titanfall 6v6 brouhaha that broke out. Sony also racked up some big news at CES by revealing PS4 sales numbers versus the Xbox One and formerly announcing the Playstation Now game streaming service. If that wasn't enough, Valve's Gabe Newell dropped names on who is making Steam Machines and Sega surprised with a new Alien game that looks nothing like the so-so to awful shooters that have come out in the past. Jen, Robert, Max and Scott tackle all of this but also want to hear more questions from you. Post your questions at the official website, YouTube channel or email them to furiousfourcast at gmail.com.
On this week's show: Battlefield 4, Lego Marvel Superheroes, Fallout: New Vegas, The Walking Dead, Resogun, Simpsons Tapped Out, Forza Motorsport 5, Call of Duty Ghosts, Island of the Lizard King, Game Dev Tycoon, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Doki Doki Universe, FIFA 14, Super Mario 3D World, Streetpass and the first round of the Best Game of the Generation.
There are two holiday episodes of Weekend Confirmed on tap for the end of 2013, but first, there's one more "regular season" edition to get through. Hosts Garnett Lee and Jeff Cannata welcome in Shacknews' Andrew Yoon and Christian Spicer to talk about some of the final bits of news left over for the year, starting off with the recently-revealed sales numbers for Call of Duty: Ghosts. That leads into this week's Nintendo Direct and whether the news revealed can generate any sort of excitement for Nintendo in 2014. And yes, there's ample discussion about the games revealed for both the Wii U and 3DS. The show then moves into some talk about The Walking Dead: Season Two before wrapping up with Finishing Moves and the weekend Tailgate.
Call of Duty Ghost Rant, as Adam and Robby talk about a large number of topics. The team also speaks about up coming winter camping for a fun new episode of the E2E Podcast.
