A seriously not serious lifestyle podcast for young women in healthcare. Filling your morning commute with self help, wellness, and honest life advice as well as the juicy nitty gritty on dating, drama, and more 20 - 30s somethings content :)
The Just A Quick Pinch podcast is an absolute gem in the world of podcasts. It is a refreshing and entertaining listen that feels like you're hanging out with friends. Connie and Jimmy's banter and conversations are filled with humor, making it an ideal choice for moments when you need to relax and forget about everything. The most recent episode I listened to was incredibly informative, providing practical advice that can be applied to various scenarios in life. This versatility adds immense value to the podcast.
One of the best aspects of The Just A Quick Pinch podcast is the relatability factor. Connie does an excellent job of connecting with her audience through her funny and relatable stories. Listening to this podcast genuinely feels like gaining a new internet bestie who understands your struggles and offers support and guidance. The self-help content, life advice, and discussions around mental health are particularly valuable for women in healthcare professions, as they provide a sense of understanding and inspiration.
Another great aspect of this podcast is the chemistry between Connie and Jimmy. Their dynamic brings an extra layer of entertainment to each episode, making it even more enjoyable to tune in week after week. Whether you're a healthcare professional or not, you'll find their advice relevant and beneficial as they tackle a wide range of topics.
On the downside, it would be helpful if each episode had timestamps or chapter markers so that listeners can navigate through specific segments more easily. This feature would allow listeners to revisit particular pieces of advice or skip ahead if they prefer certain topics.
In conclusion, The Just A Quick Pinch podcast is a must-listen for anyone seeking a perfect blend of self-help content, relatability, humor, and girl talk. Connie's storytelling abilities combined with Jimmy's presence make for an engaging listening experience that leaves you feeling inspired and entertained. Despite the lack of timestamps or chapter markers, this podcast remains highly recommended for its informative yet light-hearted approach to navigating life's challenges. Tune in and discover your new favorite podcast!

I knew I needed to make this an episode when I didn't want to talk about it lol... I felt honestly scared, anxious, and shameful during the experience. And that's when I realized, if this is how I feel as a LITERAL DENTIST that recommends this to patients every day, I need to share how I'm feeling so that if you're going through this too, you realize you're not alone. Even if it's not a root canal, whatever it is that you're feeling alone and upset by, just know this can be a powerful part of your journey. I share some surprising things I wasn't expecting to learn and feel, and ultimately what I took away from this experience about the decisions we ask patients to make, the experience of being in pain, and having to emotionally overcome hurdles we associate with treatment. Sometimes it feels like talking to a wall when we make recommendations to patients. We want so desperately to help them, it's actually IMPERATIVE for their health that they listen, but how do we help anyone that doesn't want to hear what we have to say? Mark Goulston's book, Just Listen: Discover the Secret to Getting Through to Absolutely Anyone, teaches us how to draw people in so that they can't help but listen - but surprise, turns out WE'RE the problem that needs fixing first. The answer lies in this mistake you're repeatedly making, thinking this is how you get people to listen when you're only driving people farther away. In this episode I unpack some of the incredible communications/business lessons from this book and tailor them to our scenarios every day at work as healthcare providers - here is how to ACTUALLY reach people and be heard.
