So, yesterday I got a 4-page, single-spaced, physically mailed, paper hate letter from the head of the CO Public Defender's Training Director.   Backstory: Earlier this year at their request I did a FREE (pro bono) legal consult/expert witness testimony for one of their indigent clients charged with MURDER & MANSLAUGHTER. Normally I charge a minimum of $10,000+ for this, did it forR FREE. Happy to in this particular case.  My consult/testimony was pivotal in securing that client's ACQUITTAL on ALL charges.
