They also spotlight the Da Vinci Project and other initiatives driving innovation in the space. The regulatory landscape takes center stage with a discussion of the CMS-0057 rule, which aims to streamline prior authorization and bolster interoperability. Both Anthony and Kendra share candid views on the challenges of implementing these changes and the opportunities they present for strategic advantage.Closing on a forward-looking note, Anthony calls for active industry participation in shaping health IT's future, urging stakeholders to engage in accelerators and public comment opportunities. Adapt and overcome was probably the theme of this discussion on ScaleUp Radio. Today I interviewed Antony Thompson, who is the co founder of Loopin. They have a great mission, which is to provide a million managers by 2030, the ability to reduce burnout and attrition in their teams with the help of AI. So, no surprise Loopin itself is a tool based on AI that helps managers to manage all sorts of aspects of resilience, burnout, but essentially around high performance teams. This is a fascinating discussion. Both Anthony and his co-founder, Ben are ex Marines although they didn't actually serve together. There's lots of reference to how they have taken some of those values of really looking after each other in the Marines – for example look after the person to the right and to the left of you and keeping each other accountable, but also looking after yourself. You'll hear how they've taken some this into Loopin around managing those high performance teams. Lots of great parts of the story including how they came within 9 days of running out of money and were down to their last £240 when investment money came in. So quite a roller coaster of a journey, which I think take us back to that adapt and overcome and that resilience. Plenty of discussion around people so you might like to take our checklist on levelling up your team. It may give you some ideas, some of the things that Antony talked about and some other things as well. At the age of 25 Anthony wrote his first political check to Rudolph Giuliani, the most notable prosecutor of the 80s, the most famous mayor of the 90s and a hero after 9/11. Both Anthony and Andrew admit they looked up to “America's Mayor,” so where did it all go wrong?Kirtzman walks us through his latest book which details the tragic fall of Giuliani, from once having a 90% approval rating, to being known for his melting hair. When it comes to health and fitness, many of us believe that in order to achieve our goals, we must work out 5 days a week at the gym and stay on a restrictive diet. Action Radio Show - 12/3/19 - Show Notes: Introduction: This is an easy show to describe because over the course of the whole show, I read the entire, 5 page, White House letter, from White House Counsel Pat Cipollone, to House Democrat Judiciary Chair, Jerrold Nadler. It is the perfect explaination of why the alleged impeachment hearing is so devoid of actual constitutional due process that it actually doesn't exist, and therefore the President won't participate in the completely made up as they go along hearing. It is truly a brilliant piece of writing, so I spent the show on it. I got through the first two pages out of five in my intro. 30:00 - This is about where Shelby joined us for her return of the cruise and travel report. We covered new destinations, how to discover stuff at places you've been and more. 43:00 - Karen Hoffman joined us about here for her investigative report. She covered the IG Report, and the arrogance of folks like Lisa Page who apparently isn't getting any particular action against her, so she is playing the victim. 1:05:00 - This is about where we got back to the White House Counsel letter to House Judiciary and covered, read and commentated, on the remaining three pages. I actually got through it all. Both Anthony and Pianki, joined me for this panel discussion. Building confidence in your passion and confidence in you fitness journey In this week’s podcast, we talk about how the mind can be deceive when creating goals and trying to reach them. Both Anthony and I have had the same issue of easily becoming discouraged about certain ideas or when thinking of starting new endeavors. We get anxious and overwhelmed and get caught up in ten thousand different reasons we cannot achieve success. I mention this new mind-frame that I’ve come to adopt and that is to not even think too deeply into the task or new endeavor and just do it. It doesn’t give you any time to talk yourself out of it and give up before you even start. Anthony mentions that if you know that you have an overactive mind, there are also some pros to this in that you can reverse that anxiety and fear and think on how to solve the issues or roadblocks you have encountered during your project’s brainstorming process. We also mention how this way of thinking also affects people in the gym when you want to go up in weight or see someone else lifting heavy and assume you will never get there. This week we have a conversation with Anthony Sullivan and Dave Christian of MontKush in Vermont. Both Anthony's name and his story should be familiar, "Hi, Anthony Sullivan here for Oxyclean,". Yes, the Oxiclean guy is a hemp farmer along with his lifelong friend and fellow farmer Dave. Anthony and Dave are a not-so-odd couple that teamed up first for a televised extreme race in the early 2000's. Since then, Anthony's daughter had begun to suffer from daily seizures so severe that doctors prescribed a notorious and powerful sedative for which the side effects were often as devastating as the seizures. If this story sounds familiar, it is because of the countless children across the nation who have been suffering from daily seizures and found miraculous relief from CBD. These stories were powerful enough to sway the tide of public opinion in favor of rescheduling industrial hemp away from its psychoactive cousin. It was a revelation powerful enough to convince Anthony that, if ever there were a product deserving of elevation via his skillset, that high CBD hemp was that product. Tune in to hear about Anthony and Dave's experience on their farm as new farmers in a small community where local self reliance is a necessity and not a luxury. Please continue to like, share and subscribe to the Hemp Entrepreneur Podcast. We look forward to bringing you more inspiration and motivation from guests like this, and ask that you continue to let us know who is making a splash in the industrial hemp space. The data we refer to as “sales intelligence” is one of the most frustrating necessities for sales teams. It’s information you have to have in order to do your job effectively, but it can be a Catch 22. You can only be as effective as the data you have, and the data is changing all the time and often difficult to find. Steve Bryerton and the team at DiscoverOrg are changing the way that sales data and intelligence is gathered, and have a team of 300 people who are curating data for salespeople by hand, every day. You’ve got to hear what has motivated this unprecedented step and how the DiscoverOrg team is able to offer a 95% accuracy guarantee. Believe it or not, it’s an accurate phone number. It’s amazing how many incredible startups or progressive companies that are poised to change the world, force interested customers, clients, and partners to connect with them through a web form. Period. No phone number is even available on their website. Both Anthony and his guest, Steve Bryerton believe the day will come when these world-changing companies will rethink that decision and begin to provide a phone number to make a connection with their company more easily accessible. But until then, what do sales reps do? There are only two choices… you do the legwork of finding the contact data yourself, or you make use of those who make the task their business, literally. Listen to find out how you can make use of a professional team of sales intelligence detectives. Sales Intelligence is a moving target. But you’ve still got to hit it Every salesperson has experienced the scenario: You spend time on social media, scouring the internet, and researching company websites to find the exact right email or phone number for the person you want to speak to. But you can’t find it. Why? People move from one position to another within companies, they are hired away by competitors, their IT department changes the format of email addresses but hasn’t had time to update the website to reflect the changes. Lots of reasons. Spending time trying to find contact info is not the best use of your time, but what else can you do? Steve Bryerton and the DiscoverOrg team have an option for you… let their team do that legwork for you. On this episode, you’ll hear how you can get a free trial of their service and experience the relief and power of instant, accurate sales intelligence, every time. #Sales Intelligence is a moving target. But you’ve still got to hit it @SteveBryerton @DiscoverOrgClick To Tweet What kind of accuracy does your sales intelligence contain? Suppose you’ve spent hours gathering data to contact the right person within the company you’re about to pitch. You make the call. You send the email. And it’s the wrong number or extension. The email is returned as inaccurate. Going back to square one has never been so painful. Is there a better way? Steve Bryerton says there is. Anthony is not a tech guy - meaning he’s not the guy to figure out the ways software and technological tools can be used to make sales work better, even though he is an avid user of the tech that exists. With that said, he’s very glad there are people out there who are into the tech and know how to take the deep dive into it in order to make it work better for sales professional. Max Altschuler is that guy. He’s on the show today to talk about sales stacks, the powerful benefits technology can bring to the prospecting and sales process, and how human capital can and should be integrated into the process. Data is the foundation of any successful sales process ~ Max AltschulerClick To Tweet What is meant by a “sales stack” and is yours high enough quality to help you? When Max Altschuler uses the term “sales stack” he’s referring to the human, software, and tech components that you have in place to organize and utilize the data involved in prospecting, marketing, and sales. That definition infers that you’ve got to have a system in place that has quality data that is both current and useful. On this episode Max walks through the things that make up a great data stack, how he uses it when making sales calls, and what you can do to close the loops in your process to ensure that your data stays up to date. Do you know how to research a prospect before making a connection? Every sales professional knows that you can’t (or shouldn’t) just pick up the phone and call someone you want to make a sale to. You’re much better off in the long run if you do some research to know something about that person, what they do, and why your product or service is the right solution for their needs. Max Altschuler is a pro at sales and knows the sales process backwards and forwards from his work with www.SalesHacker.com - so be sure to listen to this episode to get his own approach to researching a prospect before making the call. How to prepare for a face to face sales call from an expert, on this episode of In The ArenaClick To Tweet What many companies do wrong when it comes to sales automation. Anthony periodically receives prospecting emails that are generated by an automated system. These emails show that the company sending them knows very little about him and has taken virtually no time understanding what he does or what his needs might be. This is a marketing and sales FAIL in the hugest terms. Companies that think automation is going to cut costs are actually costing themselves more. On this episode Max Altschuler provides his insights into the biggest automation mistakes companies are making when it comes to sales and how they can cut their losses and turn things around. Targeting your prospects from a variety of positions. Both Anthony and his guest today, Max Altschuler agree that sales professionals should not allow themselves to be hindered if they find that “THE” decision maker or ideal contact they are trying to reach is unable to be reached. There are many different ways to make contact with a company that can lead to great results. In his book, Max refers to “Top down” and “Bottom up” approaches and unpacks them on this episode. You need to hear this if you continue to get road blocked in your approaches to a prospective client. You can’t be hindered by missing the appointment with the “perfect” contact.
