On the show this week the Brians compare mug shots of their protégé Bevan to a young chappy who had a bit of an upset on a rooftop in Butler, Pennsyphveinium this week. The similarity between these two scamps is uncanny and thanks to some very well forged documents there will be almost no chance of the Brians being implicated in any shenanigans relating to firearms, presidential electioneering, mail fraud, loitering, public nuisance or being nude in public. On a more serious note, all Siamese Herring Bulletproof Ear Covers have sold out completely.

(Bonus) Duck and Cover is a 1952 American civil defense animated live-action social guidance film[1] that is often mischaracterized[2][3] as propaganda.[4] It has similar themes to the more adult-oriented civil defense training films. It was widely distributed to United States schoolchildren in the 1950s, and teaches students what to do in the event of a nuclear explosion.[5] The film was funded by the US Federal Civil Defense Administration and released in January 1952.[citation needed] At the time, the Soviet Union was engaged in nuclear testing and the US was in the midst of the Korean War.[citation needed] It was written by Raymond J. Mauer, directed by Anthony Rizzo of Archer Productions, narrated by actor Robert Middleton, and made with help from schoolchildren from New York City and Astoria, New York.[citation needed]
This is not a drill! Remain calm, it's only a podcast, with guest Mike Etchart. . . . . YOU DON'T KNOW MOJACK is a podcast dedicated to exploring the entire SST catalogue, in order, from start to finish. During the podcast we will discuss all the releases that are part of our core DNA, as well as many lesser-known releases that deserve a second chance, or releases that we are discovering for the very first time (we actually don't know Mojack!). First and foremost we are fans, and acknowledge that we are not perfect and don't know everything – sometimes the discussion is more about a time, place, feeling, personal experience or random tangents, and less about the facts (but we will try to get to the facts too). Season 03 Episode 12: "To PPE or not to PPE?" asks Sara. No matter the philosophy driving work practice, a business is always tested at the pointy end of the law when the boundaries of work, health, and safety are pushed. The team debate the mandates for the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Sara and Alan argue the logic of context and circumstance driving the consideration. Trajce assumes the role of the zealous prosecutor and exclaims that if the sign instructs wear of PPE, one must comply. "Do you always follow the rules, Trajce, just because they are written?" she teases, and concedes that she is not one to often follow the rules because she hardly trusts most of the thought processes of the people that engineered the rules - she challenges everything (almost)! Alan laments the use of hardhats when nothing is likely to fall from the sky, and Trajce explains a case in which obesity saved a man's life in absence of the correct PPE. The team carry the conversation into the milieu of the home office environment. "Do you have a fire extinguisher and blanket at home?" Sara asks, "Duck and dive, go low," says Trajce, equipped with such home office provisions. Sara admits that she is more familiar with the Dodgeball movie mantra to "Dodge, duck, dive, dip, and dodge!"Thank you for proposing this topic, Dr Elise Crawford of CQUniversity.

Some people are coasters and do the bare minimum. These people are in duck and cover mode. In today's episode of Playing In The Sandbox, I'll be discussing how you can address duck and coverers if you are one, or one is on your team. Operating in duck-and-cover mode is a HUGE bane for not only your work performance but your mental well-being. You're NOT achieving the maximum results you could be. So what do we do, once we know we're in duck and cover mode? If you notice someone is in duck and cover mode, you HAVE to confront it. If you don't actively address it, you're allowing this anti-productive behavior to continue. Get to know the person who's in duck and cover mode. Try and learn whatever is CAUSING them to be in this mode. It may be issues back at home or personal issues. But understand these issues so you can work to correct them, and by extension the duck and cover behavior. If you DON'T have this talk, you're just allowing the behavior to continue. Whatever you tolerate, you allow it to continue. Have talks with people who are in duck and cover mode, address whatever issues they're facing, and work to fix said issues. Go to https://www.tammyjbond.com/podcast to learn more about how you can address people who are in duck and cover mode, and optimize your team's performance. We'd love for you to join us for our next episodes by tuning in on Apple Podcast, Amazon Podcast, or Spotify and subscribe to our Youtube channel. This podcast is produced by TSE Studios.

There's been near total silence from the liberal media in regards to the first two batches of the Twitter Files from journalists Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss showing years of deception and lies on the part of Twitter executives and their allies to censor conservatives and any thought that runs counter to their left-wing worldview. Managing Editor Curtis Houck and Associate Editor Nick "Night Train" Fondacaro broke it all down while also diving into the news of the day on Brittney Griner's release from a Russian prison cap and the end of Trevor Noah's tenure at The Daily Show.

By October 22, 1962, after days of long discussions with his advisors, President John F. Kennedy was ready to go public about the Soviet missiles in Cuba. His address to the American people laid out his plan to initiate a naval quarantine to prevent more Soviet ships and weapons from reaching Cuba. He also stressed the uncertainty and danger that lay in the days and months ahead. In Moscow, this announcement stunned and angered Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev, who learned that his atomic gambit had failed. As the specter of a devastating nuclear war loomed larger than ever, the White House waited to see how the Soviets would react.

A wayward rocket gave the people of El Paso and Ciudad Juarez a scare 75 years ago. It was launched from New Mexico and was supposed to head north. Instead, it veered south, then crashed a half mile from a cemetery and an airport outside Juarez. The rocket was a V-2 — a German World War II “terror weapon.” After the war, the U.S. brought in German rocket experts and several train cars full of rocket parts. The army then set up a test site at White Sands Proving Grounds, in New Mexico. Several V-2s had been launched before the test of May 29th, 1947 — some successful, some not. A flight just two weeks earlier went awry, with the rocket crashing on the outskirts of Alamogordo, New Mexico. The May 29th flight had been delayed by engine troubles. It finally launched at 7:30 p.m. Something went wrong with its gyroscope, though, so it headed off course. It streaked across El Paso, then plunged to Earth just south of the city, creating a blast that was heard and felt many miles away. The concussion rattled buildings across El Paso and Juarez, broke windows, and even stopped a clock in the El Paso sheriff's office. It gouged a crater 50 feet wide and 24 feet deep. No one lived near the impact site, though, so no one was injured. The Army quickly cleaned up the mess, apologized, and paid for the damages. And it set up new safety procedures to prevent a repeat — keeping the population safe from off-course rockets. Script by Damond Benningfield Support McDonald Observatory
