In this Soul Elevation livestream, I'm diving into how real solutions often come from beyond the mind. I share a story from over 25 years ago—before I had a meditation practice—where the answer to a coding problem came not from thinking harder, but from something much higher. In this episode, I talk about: ✨ The difference between the conscious, subconscious, and superconscious mind

He felt at home there and every time he would visit Shunem, he would stop by her house. This happened so often that she and her husband built a room for him on the roof. Elisha asked what he could do to repay the woman for her kindness, but she needed nothing. Instead, noticing she had no children, he prophesied that she would have a son. When a person recognizes Hashem's involvement in his life, he has a mitzvah not only to thank Hashem, but to also sing His praises. The pasuk says: " שִׁירוּ לוֹ זַמְּרוּ לוֹ שִׂיחוּ בְּכָל נִפְלְאוֹתָיו " — "Sing to Him, make music to Him, speak of all His wonders." (Divrei HaYamim I 16:9) We are meant to speak joyfully about the wondrous things Hashem does for us. Baruch Hashem, I have the zechut to hear so many stories of how people felt Hashem's hand in their lives. There's an email address where people send in their stories( livingemunah123@gmail.com ). I would like to share just a few that I recently received. What's so beautiful about some of these stories is how Hashem is involved even in the most mundane of tasks — something as simple as pressing a button. A woman who is an English teacher related that she had been working for years on developing an app to help students drill their English vocabulary. It was a long and exhausting process, and she hoped to secure a government tender that would allow her to sell the app to schools across Israel, helping her cover the high costs. But she hit a roadblock — the Ministry of Education wouldn't provide vendors with a list of schools and contact information. How could she sell her product without spending all her time manually searching for schools? Recently, while trying to look up a phone number on her computer — for the purpose of suggesting a shidduch — she accidentally pressed the wrong button. A file suddenly downloaded onto her computer. Curious, she opened it. To her shock, it was an Excel sheet with over 1,500 religious schools in Israel, complete with all their contact information. She had never even heard of such a list. But she didn't need to — Hashem had guided her fingers to press the exact button she needed. Another woman shared a story from a recent trip to Spain in late April. A nationwide power outage struck in the early afternoon, right as she and her husband were getting ready to catch a train to their next destination. The night before, she had purchased what she thought were train tickets via the railway app. But when she opened the app to confirm the departure time, she realized she had mistakenly bought bus tickets instead. She didn't even know that buses could be booked through the app! As it turned out, the train system had completely shut down due to the power outage, leaving passengers stuck for hours in the heat. Meanwhile, she and her husband boarded a comfortable, air-conditioned bus and arrived on time with no difficulties. Once again, Hashem had guided someone to press exactly the right button. A man submitted a powerful story about a fire that broke out a few weeks ago in fields near Beit Shemesh. He sent in a picture showing completely blackened, burnt fields surrounding a single patch of lush green. That green patch belonged to Moshav Matityahu — a religious moshav who keep Shemitah. The field manager was there as the flames approached. The trees — etrogim and rimonim — were in serious danger. But then, miraculously, the flames veered, forming a half-circle around this field, and moved on to burn the next one. Not a single tree of theirs was singed. It was clearly a bracha earned in the merit of keeping Shemitah. Tragically, the surrounding fields — which were not observing Shemitah — were all burned. Hashem can and does bless us in countless ways, sometimes in very visible miracles. One final story. A man had a specialist appointment last year. The waiting room had televisions playing on all sides, the volume blasting, and the content was extremely inappropriate. He tried his best not to look, but some of the images caught his eye and became lodged in his mind. He prayed deeply for Hashem to remove those images from his thoughts. A week later, he had a follow-up appointment at the same office. This time, before going, he poured out his heart to Hashem, asking not to be exposed to those same sights again. Miraculously, when he arrived, every screen was malfunctioning. The same clean advertisement played on a loop for the entire thirty minutes he was there. Other patients were complaining, but the staff could not fix it. Only he knew that it was an answer to his tefillah. Hashem is helping us constantly. It's our job to recognize His involvement, thank Him, and tell others about it. The more we speak of His wonders, the more aware we become of His presence in our lives — and the more reasons we find to sing His praises.

In this powerful episode, Karen and I welcome author and podcast host, Julie Hedenborg to discuss the beauty of miracles. But beyond the miracle itself, we explore a deeper question: Are we seeking God's hand, or are we truly pursuing His heart? Too often, our faith is fixated on what we want God to do, rather than who He is. This episode encourages you to realign your heart—not just to believe for your breakthrough, but to draw nearer to the One who performs it. You'll be reminded that God is still in the miracle-working business, but His ultimate desire is relationship, not just results.Whether you're waiting for healing, restoration, provision, or direction, this episode will stir your faith to keep believing. Because even when it feels like nothing is changing, God is still moving behind the scenes. And sometimes, the greatest miracle isn't in what happens to us, but what happens in us.What You'll Hear in This Episode:Why miracles are only part of the story. The difference between seeking God's hand vs. His heart. How to build faith while you wait.Take a moment this week to pray, not just for your miracle, but for a deeper connection with God's heart. Listen, be encouraged, and share this with someone who needs hope today."And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV)

I'm so excited to share this transformative conversation on how to create everyday miracles in your life now! I had the privilege of sitting down with Hakim Hamza, bestselling author of The Eternal Within, for a deep dive into practical techniques, mindset shifts, and daily practices inspired by A Course in Miracles. Whether you're new to the Course or a seasoned student, this conversation will give you powerful tools to elevate your everyday experience and transform your reality. And help you experience more miracles! ⚡️ About Hakim Hamza: Hakim was born in 1987 to a Swedish mother and an Egyptian father, and grew up in Sweden. Growing up multiculturally fostered a deep awareness of the vastness of human experience. Hakim holds a bachelor's degree in social psychology. Driven by a profound yearning for something eternal that transcends limitations, I immersed myself in diverse Eastern philosophies. I have explored the teachings of Osho (Rajneesh), Papaji, Ramana Maharshi, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Acharya Prashant, and Adyashanti, among others. Through this journey, he understood how spiritual truths can be applied to everyday life. Even though not Eastern, he finally found "A Course in Miracles" (ACIM) and the work of Dr. Kenneth Wapnick, who taught it. The Course has resonated with him more than any other teaching; hence, it has become his primary spiritual practice.

Hypnosis can be healing and liberating. It isn't spooky manipulation, like in the movies. No pendulums. No turning into chickens on a stage. “I have a high hit rate with my clients”, says hypnotherapist Ylva Wegler. “I can never guarantee a result, because we all have our unique journeys. But I am still amazed by the results.” She believes the best ingredient in her sessions is that she is good at creating a safe space. She also shares many experiences with her clients. “I say jokingly that I am an excellent grief recoverer. This enables them to open their hearts.” “I put my limited self aside and let my unlimited self work. Then we're rocking”, she laughs. The crucial part in hypnotherapy is to get the controlling part of ourselves out of the way, Ylva explains. The whole body is involved, especially when working with emotions and feelings. “Many think it's going to be painful. And sometimes it is, but mostly it isn't.” That is, if you manage to not resist what you are experiencing. Because resistance is the issue. That is what causes pain. Ylva has had a lot of experience of what is referred to as past lives. Both personally and in treatment. “I am most curious about time as a dimension. Are these experiences previous lives or something else?” Her conclusion is that it doesn't really matter. It is something you can access. Ylva has initiated a large book project, where hundreds of people are invited to share their stories of miracles in their lives. Ordinary or extraordinary doesn't matter. The main thing is how people experience and interpret these events, which have miraculous impacts in their lives. The spark to this idea came when Ylva was doing the Camino walk in Spain. She was able to realize the project after a major personal financial setback, a lot of inner work and a beautiful synchronicity. “It was a huge, beautiful download. I am just here watching it unfold.” The book series, “A Miracle Cure for the Soul”, also led to the creation of a big event at a theater in Stockholm, which Ylva arranges in collaboration with a friend. What is a miracle? “To me it's all about the inner state”, says Ylva. “It's about being aware of our thoughts. A thought births a feeling, and the feeling creates the state. If you stay open to miracles, you see them every day.” “To me it wasn't about miracles from the start. It was about seeing proof that we're more than our physical selves.” She is not fond of spiritual labels, she says. But she is convinced that we have a beautiful innate ability to empower ourselves and to create our lives and steer it in a direction we prefer. “The more we see that and learn that, the more harmonious we get. And the end result is a more loving world, a peaceful world. That's what my whole work is about.” The Ylva of 25 years ago was quite different from the Ylva of today. She has made a journey both within and without. It began with a postpartum depression. One thought in her mind told her to end her life. But there was also another voice that said: ‘There's something really, really wrong here'. “I chose to listen to that latter voice.” Her spiritual a-ha moment happened during a seance 20 years ago. A psychic medium told details about Ylva's life that nobody but Ylva herself could have known Our modern society is overdue for a holistic health revolution. And it is underway, Ylva believes. These are crucial times in many ways. It looks messy, but perhaps some of the disruption is necessary. How should people handle it? “First of all: Guard your inner state. We are creating a new world from our inner state. I believe that the 'heaven on Earth' the Bible speaks of is a state. And we can choose it every second of our lives.” “The more we choose to see the good in the world, the more good we are going to get.” Ylva's websiteFacebook Email address: ylva@trinitycare.se Book seriesMirakeldagen (The Miracle Day)
In Episode 29, Kate and her guest, poet Valerie Anthony, meander deep into the woods of metaphor, asking how the words a society stumbles into by misadventure shape the images we form of ourselves as humans. Discussing the gospel for the Feast of Saint Francis de Sales, 14th century poet Dafydd ap Gwilym's 'The Woodland Mass,' and choosing to replace machine metaphors with green metaphors, Val and Kate find hope in the small and fleeting, in naming the forgotten wildflowers, and in flashes of Christ's Light in dark places. https://enlighteninglife.com/karma-trauma-worms-light/ https://enlighteninglife.com/karma-trauma-worms-light/I got the title for this article and podcast from research on US legislation I had to do so I could write a course for the University of Phoenix, whose e-business program I wrote in the early 2000s. A few years after the Patriot Act was enacted they had asked me to research and report on data safeguarding requirements under the Patriot Act. One of the requirements was called the WORM process, where WORM stands for Write Once Read Many. This process required that data could be written once and never changed but it could be read unlimited times. Once you entered the data it was permanently inscribed and could not be altered. But you could look at that data as many times as you wanted to.What an appropriate concept for how we process and handle our karma and trauma. We write it into our energy field once at the time it happened, and then we read it over and over again, each time we are in a similar situation. If you want to create your high vibes, joyful life you need to understand your WORMs of karma and trauma and deal with them. Now is better than later and a lot better than never. How do you write karma and trauma into your energy field? Let me ask you a question – do you remember the last time you had an interaction with someone in your life who has always been a source of irritation, annoyance, frustration, and anxiety? Are you afraid of repeating this behavior with each interaction? Do you dread talking to them because you know that it's going to be another rehash of why you're a terrible, no-good, bad, inept, untalented, unattractive, and unsuccessful person?Do you remember the first time they made you feel that way? You wrote that experience once into your energy field and every time you think about, see, or talk to that person, that old data comes up, that situation gets repeated, and all of the energy around it rises to the surface and starts eating away at your joy, peace, and peace of mind, heart, and spirit. What came first, the energy or the experience? In this lifetime it's the energy , in past lifetimes it's the experience. Now it's your turn, think of someone in your life who is a challenge and what makes them challenging. Do you remember the first time it happened? Now go farther back in your memory. Was there ever a time when you felt comfortable around them or did you always feel that you had something to prove with them, that they were a threat to you, toxic, or even dangerous? Welcome to your karma. Now that you know what this is and how it works, let's look at your WORMs of karma and trauma. We will look at the past and at your hidden and not so hidden fears, anxieties, doubts, and challenges. Here we will use what I call the miracle cancelling words from my Miracle Mastery course and my book 30 Days to Everyday Miracles. These words cancel your miracles because they are critical, judgmental, negative, and blaming. Words like never, should, should have, did not, cannot, and others judge you for not doing something – not making the right choices, decisions or moves, taking action too late or too soon, missing opportunities, being afraid, not getting approval, and more.Does any of this resonate with you? How often have you heard those voices of blame, shame, guilt, condemnation, criticism, and judgment speak to you?Read the rest of the article on the Enlightening Life blog at this link. In this episode, I'm delighted to be joined by my dear friend and colleague, the amazing Dr. Robert Holden. Robert Holden's innovative work on psychology and spirituality has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, a PBS special Shift Happens!, and in two major BBC-TV documentaries on happiness - The Happiness Formula and How to Be Happy. He has presented two popular TEDx talks. As a student of A Course in Miracles, he and his wife, Hollie, host EVERYDAY MIRACLES – an online membership for A Course in Miracles. Robert is a New York Times best-selling author of 14 books including Happiness NOW!, Shift Happens!, Loveability, and Life Loves You (co-written with Louise Hay). His brand-new venture is PURPOSE CLUB – which offers a year of mentoring and support for living a purpose-centered life. Today, Robert and I unpack the nature of miracles through a discussion I believe to be a beautiful example of aligning with Higher Purpose and how to live from a place of love and faith in the Universal plan. Robert offers great insight as he shares his experience of the miracle zone. Robert speaks about how shifting from fear to love is key to discovering the miracle zone, and why true discovery begins with recognition and awareness of what already is. As a practical stand for showing up in life committed to love, Robert takes us through some of his favorite exercises for recognizing the miracles available to us and opening to receiving them. You won't want to miss this one, so tune in to receive this gift of a message from my fellow Miracle traveler, Robert Holden! “The miracle zone is here. The question is, where am I?” - Robert Holden What we talked about: Robert's definition of a miracle and what A Course In Miracles is (4:01) Shifting from a fearful mindset to an energetic state of love (11:22) Practical keys for leading from love by remembering Life Loves You (14:30) **Life Loves You exercise Robert's concept of destination addiction and skipping over the life we're currently living (20:28) The role of purpose in living a miraculous life (24:57) Favorite quotes from the episode: “Miracles happen when we shift our mindset from fear to love in any given situation.” - Robert Holden “If you can be emotionally honest, you'll become even more spiritually clear. Emotional honesty boosts spiritual clarity” - Robert Holden “You simply have to be aware. And the awareness itself starts to make you more porous, more open, more receptive, and more spontaneously available to miracles.” - Robert Holden Connect with Robert: Purpose Club Website Connect with Us: Website Instagram Find Your Miracle Superpower https://www.facebook.com/groups/livinginthemiraclezone/
Aurora was 35, married with 4 young kids under the age of 7 when the doctors diagnosed her vision issue as optic neuritis related to Multiple Sclerosis (MS). They said her sight would never return, and based on the location of 10 lesions on her brain, the incurable, progressive disease would confine her to a wheelchair within five years. Aurora was devastated but soon found herself on a journey with God and forever changed. In this episode Aurora shares: The first signs and the shock of seeing 10 lesions on her MRI Getting the news from top local physicians The turning point from fear and hopelessness to faith in Go God leading her on a journey to healing through promptings and people An impactful moment from her past would lead her to set the goal of one triathlon (while she still had function) Seeing results from holistic and functional medicine providers that she didn't know were possible The joy of receiving the call that her MS lesions completely disappeared Finding a new love of a sport and completing over 51 triathlons(!) Her passion as a triathlete becomes a platform where she could minister to others "I have come that they might have life, and have it in abundance." -John 10:10 More about Aurora: Through God's guidance, Aurora dove into functional medicine and healing the root cause of where her symptoms were coming from. She has never been on medications for MS, she uses food as her medicine and lifestyle changes have saved her life from one with MS. She healed her body from MS and is healthier now than she was before her diagnosis. After the first year of her lifestyle changes, her vision came back better than before, after being blind for over a month and she became physically active for the first time. She has been racing triathlons for 10 years, has been a sponsored triathlete and has raced over 51 triathlons including Half Ironman distances. Her story has been featured in Shape Magazine, Latina Magazine, Fox News, ABC LA and various TV Shows. She is a graduate of the Institute for Functional Medicine Coaching program, a coach, writer and speaker, and is passionate about sharing her story to give others inspiration and hope and teach them how the body can heal through diet and lifestyle changes. She is currently working in real estate with her husband in California. Disclaimer: While I make every effort to broadcast accurate information (both medical and Biblical), I am still learning. Medicine (holistic and traditional) is a constantly changing science and art. I recommend prayer as well as consulting with multiple physicians when faced with a health crisis. This podcast was created to share one's faith journey, not to prescribe medical treatment.
