It's the final episode of the spring series, finally. And with all the weird digital policy action in Australia in recent weeks, I figured we'd better chat once more with Justin Warren, "consultant, freedom of information tragic, hexagon enthusiast, and creator of the CyberRating™ labelling scheme".In this episode we talk about Australia's newly-legislated social media ban for under-16s, sure. But we also talk about something called "systems intentionality", product safety, the new AI tool from MyHeritage that turns old photos into videos, and wine decanters,Full podcast details and credits at:https://the9pmedict.com/edict/00237/Please consider supporting this podcast with your cash-type money:https://the9pmedict.com/tip/https://skank.com.au/subscribe/

WebAssembly (WASM) is lauded for its potential to be faster, smaller, and more secure than its predecessors. But skepticism surrounds its long-term adoption and development trajectory, with debates centering on whether WASM can achieve the transformative status that containers once held. While WASM applications are technically more portable, smaller, and quicker to start, adoption remains at an early stage, appealing more to developers than operations professionals. © Gestalt IT, LLC for Gestalt IT: WebAssembly Will Displace Containers For Web-Scale Applications

What Christian hasn't asked the question, “did I not pray hard enough?” One of my first questions for God when I get to heaven will be, “what took you so long!?” God's timing and our timing don't often align in the exact way we would wish. Given the expectation we have in our culture of faster is better, waiting on the Lord to answer while enduring any sort of pain or discomfort is not something that we usually handle well.Justin Warren, a recording artist and worship leader, talks us through a journey he went on that made him doubt his calling. He was challenged by God to press in and wait on the Lord for an answer. Through that process a beautiful new song was written and spiritual growth happened and he'll share his story with us on today's episode.- - - - - -Sponsor InformationWorship Leader Institutehttps://www.worshipleaderinstitute.com/- - - - - - Please subscribe to our social channels for more information and great content surrounding building a lifestyle of worship. Now honestly, this episode has not gone out today sponsored by British Airways, or in any way taking advantage of the situation that affected 1000's of BA customers over the weekend, the timing is purely coincidental. However, those incidents have made this episode quite timely as they again highlight just how crucial to our day to day activities as individuals and businesses technology is. As part of my time at the recent VeeamON event, I took the opportunity to chat with the wider IT community who attended, not just those charged with delivering availability and data protection, but also those who looked at the industry through a broader lens. So over the next couple of weeks, I've put together a collection of those chats to give you a wider view of the availability market. First up, I speak with Justin Warren and Jeff Leeds. Justin, is a well-known industry analyst and consultant as well as the host of the fantastic Eigencast podcast, Justin is often outspoken, but always provides a fascinating insight into the wider industry. Jeff was part of a large NetApp contingent at the event and shared how partnerships and complimentary technologies are critical in building an appropriate data strategy, helping us all ensure our businesses remain on.
