What you think about money is the basis for your relationship with money. Most people who don't have the financial results that they want can usually trace it back to a limiting belief they have about money based on how they were raised around money and what society has told them about what they can earn, save and/or spend. This episode will help you uncover what your current thinking about money is and how you can change it. I mention Dr. Grace Kim from Richer Life DVM, here is her contact info. https://richerlifedvm.com/

How do you process your identity and theology if you feel invisible as a person? What if your story, history, and experience are largely rejected and excluded from the culture you're a part of? How does that shape the way you see God and the world?Dr. Grace Ji-Sun Kim is a Korean-American theologian who works in liberation and feminist theology and wrote the book Invisible asking those questions from her perspective as an Asian American woman. In this conversation, we talk about identity, whiteness, white supremacy, and how the Holy Spirit and the Asian concept of chi might be interwoven. The bourbon we taste in this episode is a 1980 I.W. Harper. But don't go looking for it, because it's, you know, 43 years old. To skip the tasting, go to 7:19. You can find the transcript for this episode here.Production note: Logic corrupted our files (thanks Apple), so we had to use Zoom audio this time. In our second episode, I am delighted to bring you Grace Kim James. Grace is the Head of Marketing at Atlantic Records, representing artists such as Missy Elliott, Lizzo, and FKA Twigs. Grace is a fellow Korean American and we get into so many topics pertaining to what it means to be Asian in America. We go there with the uncomfortable but urgent matter of racism against Asians. Ultimately, this episode is an homage to our immigrant parents, whose sacrifices and strength we admittedly took for granted when we were growing up, and to our Korean heritage, which is finally finding a place in pop culture by way of kpop, kimchi, and conversations like this. I think you're going love listening to the lyrical cadence of her voice…it's no wonder such huge musicians want to work with her. Please enjoy this inspiring, no-holds-barred conversation with Grace Kim James. When Karrie Webb talks about golf, people should listen. The seven time major winner joined us this week to talk The Chevron, Augusta National, LIV, Grace Kim and more.
Sonja is back down in Arizona, and Blakely is home getting ready for her sons 6th birthday, but the pod continues! This week the girls start the episode off by giving the people what they want - no - what they need.. a Love is Blind recap. They hop right into recapping the new episode of the LPGA Drive On youtube show where they follow 4 players during the Drive On Championship that was played at Superstition Mountain just west of Phoenix. They also talk about Grace Kim's big win in a playoff at the Lotte Championship at Hoakalei Country Club in Hawaii. This week is the first major for the Ladies of the LPGA - the Chevron Championship played at The Club at Carlton Woods in the Woodlands, Texas. This is the first year this tournament will not be played at Mission Hills with the winner jumping into Poppies Pond. The girls are running another pool and it is linked on their Instagram - be sure to sign up before Thursday, April 20th at 6 am if you want to get in on the fun! The girls then recap the RBC Heritage Tournament at Harbour Town Golf Links where Matt Fitzpatrick bested Jordan Spieth in a playoff after 3 holes. He got a fancy new plaid jacket, and a casual $3.6 million. Looking forward to recapping the LPGA Chevron Championship next week! If you haven't yet, we would be so grateful if you could rate our podcast, and leave us a review!Be sure to follow us on Instagram! http://www.instagram.com/clubtwirlswiththegirlsHosts: Sonja and Blakely Muse:Adam Scott
This week on the podcast Mark Allen is away, and tour pro Craig Spence covers for him again in a big show.Plenty of discussion points, particularly with the Aussies performance at the weekend - a great win from Grace Kim in Hawaii, Nick is a huge fan and explains why he loves her game. Strong performances also from Brett Drewitt, who nearly won at Arlington, and moves to #2 on the Korn Ferry points rankings, and Kevin Yuan had a great weekend in Vietnam.Nick and Craig discuss how strong the Korn Ferry tour is.A discussion around the PGA designated events, particularly around Rory McIlroy pulling out of the event which has attracted criticism. Including from Nick who calls it poor form from Rory.Nick has a problem with golfers playing slowly, his key target is Patrick Cantlay and Nick says something has to be done. He supports the introduction of a shot clock in golf, and tougher enforcement by rules officials. Nick's Top 5 this week is the slowest golfers of all time - Nick names them, Craig has one to add, and we'd love you to let us know if you've got any to add.Craig asks Nick what his secret is to handle pressure putting. Some great advice here from Nick for any golfer. They discuss Hilton Head and how great the course is, and how nice the people of South Carolina are.And this weekend, it's a big one, LIV comes to Adelaide - Nick and Craig discuss Greg Norman being everywhere at the moment, Nick bumped into Greg at Cathedral at the weekend and had a good chat. Craig says the list of LIV players in Adelaide is impressive, and is looking forward to seeing them play. Nick is not enamoured with the LIV format, but is still excited to watch it this weekend from the commentary box. The course they're playing, Grange, is an impressive track and Nick and Craig reckon it will play beautifully but will be a good test for the players. The Masterclass this week is on Matt Fitzpatrick and his shot into the final hole at the weekend, and the importance of reacting to the target rather than the ball. Video up on socials.Talk Birdie To Me, new episodes weekly wherever you get your podcasts. If you've got a friend who is into golf, we'd love you to share the podcast with them, and rate and review us wherever you get your podcasts. This Monday episode is a wander, with little on that electric Jordan Spieth and Matt Fitzpatrick finish at the RBC Heritage until the midpoint of the episode. Andy and Brendan begin with some thoughts on the NBA playoffs and Sacramento Kings bandwagoning vs. Northwestern bandwagoning. There's also some chatter about a designated event coming the week after a major and whether that needs correcting. There's some discussion on a truly insane tweet from a PGA Tour pro, Jon Rahm's performance in the CBS booth, and other miscellany. Then they get to the Spieth-Fitz drama, and who impressed or disappointed more. Patrick Cantlay's week of being roasted for slow play is also reviewed, with some half-hearted (or corrupted) defenses. Grace Kim's win on the LPGA and Spencer Levin's win on the KFT are also discussed, before news hits on some players getting in a couple pops at Rory for skipping another designated event and a LIV player complaining about not enough events.
Matthew Fitzpatrick hit one of the signature shots of his career and the over 50-year history of the RBC Heritage to win for the second time on the PGA TOUR! Eamon & Damon react to his dramatic victory over Jordan Spieth in a 3-hole playoff. Spieth had several chances to defend his title at the heritage during the playoff with Fitzpatrick but several key putts fell short. Our crew discusses the state of his game as he looks towards completing the career grand slam. Rory McIlroy is also looking to complete the career grand slam, but will have to wait another year after missing the cut at the masters. Our guys react to his disappointing showing at Augusta and the $3 million penalty he faces for withdrawing from the RBC Heritage, the second designated event he has missed. Grace Kim won in thrilling fashion on the LPGA this weekend! Kim takes her first victory in only her third start as a full member. The Australian calls into the show to discuss the biggest accomplishment of her career so far! This week in the women's game we have our first major championship of the year! Beth Ann Nichols gets us ready for the Chevron Championship's debut at The Club in Carlton Woods in Texas. On the Korn Ferry Tour, Spencer Levin won for the first time in fifteen years at the Veritex Bank Championship! The seasoned vet drops by to discuss what the long-awaited victory can do to help him get back to the PGA TOUR. Grace Kim (42:18) Spencer Levin (48:44)
