This week, we look at an NFL player, who seemed to wait until he got to the NFL to start getting into trouble, and making a general fool of himself. He's had so many police interactions, that he might as well have joined a department. His driving is a major problem, but his attitude, and the company he keeps are what really screw him up. Did he bail out a friend, who was accused of throwing a stabbed teenager into the Hudson River? It's this kind of publicity that made him a constant problem for the league, his family, and himself!!Stay home for college, always hang around with the wrong people, and take all that you have for granted, until everyone finally gets sick of you with Kenny Britt!!Check us out, every Tuesday! We will continue to bring you the biggest idiots in sports history!! Jon Gordon talks with Lou Taylor, CEO of Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group. She is consecutively listed as one of The Hollywood Reporter’s "Top Business Managers.” Lou and her team serve a large and impressive roster of musicians, athletes and actors including but not limited to Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Jeff Fisher and Cleveland Browns wide receiver Kenny Britt. Jon and Lou cover a variety of topics including the importance of vision, integrity, truth and execution in business (and in life). A few additional takeaways from Lou include: When you offer true visions and execution, people see that. You have to believe in yourself and your calling. Don't just serve your clients. Super Serve them. Communicate proactively, deliver things before they are asked for, etc. Failure is not permanent. If you are going to make it, you have to embrace that. I want to uphold the good. I want to be the truth teller, even when it is not easy. Staying Positive is a choice. You have to decide to do it every day... even when you are tired, even when you don't want to. Give more than you receive. You can tell if someone is just doing it for the money or the mission. ABOUT LOU TAYLOR http://team-tristar.com/ For the last 25 years Lou Taylor has sat at the head of Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group providing business management services to actors, artist and athletes. In this role, Lou leads two Tri Star offices, one in Los Angeles and one in Nashville. Mike Giardi and Dan Koppen discuss the Patriots bad energy level on the road at night and Tom Brady’s 7-9 record in Miami. Should we have seen signs of this loss coming? (4:30) Patriots didn’t come out and play with the sense of urgency that we normally see with multiple 3 and outs and going 0-11 on 3rd down conversions. (6:30) Dolphins defense played very well and were able to tackle effectively while the Patriots had trouble in that area. Patriots defense also made Jay Cutler look good throwing the ball around. (9:35) Was there a carry over from the previous game played against Miami for Tom Brady, knowing how much he would be getting hit? (14:40) Thoughts on the Patriots signing Kenny Britt after he was released by the Browns. (17:50) The Patriots lack of a running game, how you need to establish a running game with Gronk out, and the Patriots needing to change the tempo of the offense. (21:25) Dolphins having plenty of talent and the growing confidence of their secondary and Dion Lewis being taken out of the gameplan. (23:10) Did some players on the Patriots look ahead to the Steelers and overlook the Dolphins? (24:30) How did this performance affect Koppen’s confidence of the Patriots defense? (25:45) Will the Steelers defense be able to stop the Patriots offense? Are injuries starting to creep into the mind of the Patriots?

For this episode, we jumped in the car and headed to Berea, Ohio to see the 2017 Cleveland Browns practice and it was awesome! We start of the episode in the car hitting I-79 from Morgantown, WV to Cleveland. Once we arrived at the practice facility, we stepped into what felt like an amusement park for football, full of food and vendor trucks, merchandise shops, and interactive games like the 40-yard dash where you can clock your time. It was overwhelmingly good for Brown fans like us. The best part was watching up close the players on the team and getting to see things you don’t see in little video clips on national TV sport shows. Without this trip, I’m sure we would feel like Deshone Kizer is the best QB in camp based off the NFL & ESPN Network highlights, but the real eye test showed at the time and this practice day, that Brock Osweiler looked the best. Also, the size of these players... you cannot really understand until you see it in person. That goes for both extremes. Myles Garrett is incredibly big, but Corey Coleman looked smaller than what I thought. I really enjoyed seeing Gregg Williams in action, he lived up to the hype. Honestly, I wish I could go to all the Browns practices, I envy the citizens of Berea. The pro shop with Browns merchandise was very cool. Expensive, but some really cool stuff. I had a hot dog and nachos while I was there from one of the vending trucks and it was really good. Once we left the practice, right down the street was a restaurant that one of the parking attendants told us to try called The Beer Garden: https://www.facebook.com/MiddleburgBrewGarden/. It was extremely delicious, the decor was amazing, and I really did not want to leave that place. We got back on the road and recorded this week’s episode. We recapped the first preseason game vs the New Orleans Saints, we also talked about what stood out to us about the practice we observed, we also talked about the quarterback competition, and our ongoing debate about Kenny Britt and much more. Hope you like this episode, and see you next week. Hope you like this episode, and see you next week. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/browns-in-our-blood/message

The 2017 edition of free agency in the NFL is nearing one month old. Over a billion dollars in contracts have been awarded, and any number of players of interest to fantasy football owners have found new homes. At running back, Adrian Peterson remains unsigned, as does Jamaal Charles. The biggest name to switch teams is one of the NFL’s biggest backs, with Eddie Lacy bolting the Green Bay Packers to try to goose the ground game in Seattle. Latavius Murray has found work as well – as Peterson’s replacement with the Minnesota Vikings. At wide receiver there’s been a ton of movement. The Washington Redskins became the first team in NFL history to lose a pair of 1,000-yard wideouts from the season before when DeSean Jackson (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and Pierre Garcon (San Francisco 49ers) both left town. Terrelle Pryor signed a deal in D.C to pick up some of that slack. Kenny Britt replaced Pryor as the No. 1 receiver in the fifth circle of football hell known as Cleveland. The “crown jewel” of free agency at the position (Alshon Jeffery) settled for a one-year deal, while a surprise trade sent shockwaves across the fantasy landscape. We’re still waiting for the big shoes to drop at quarterback (“Where will Romo Land” has become the new “Who Shot J.R.?” in Texas), but dominos have fallen at tight end, including the arrival of Martellus Bennett in Titletown and his replacement joining the Super Bowl champs. In another trade. Join Fantasy Sharks Staff Writers Gary Davenport and Todd Latzke on Thursday, March 30 at 7 PM ET as they try to make heads of it all with fantasy football’s biggest winners and losers in free agency. It's been a frustrating week on the podcast, but things are looking up. There's finally some Browns conversation to be had. The Cleveland Browns reportedly make a "monster" deal with Joel Bitonio. The Browns reportedly pay Kenny Britt somewhere around $8 million a year for four years. The Browns reportedly still haven't locked up Terrelle Pryor. We try to make sense of all this and figure out when the Browns regime lost the benefit of the doubt. We also talk about if failing to bring back Terrelle Pryor will continue to keep them from earning that benefit of the doubt. We're on Patreon and you can support us!
