KWR-0041: Humility in the Kingdom Kingdom War Room Romans 12:3 (NKJV) 3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. Exposure to Babylon's influences, with its allure of pride, stands in stark contrast to the humility that is born from exposure to Almighty God. This stark contrast underscores the real problem of hubris in the modern Church and its theologies. Hosts: Dr. Michael K. H2O Academy video courses Submit a Show Idea AWT (Association of Water Technologies) Drop By Drop with James In this week's episode, I offer up another challenge to you. This week's challenge is…to send handwritten notes to those who have helped you. I mean truly handwritten notes. In this digital world we live in with emails, voicemails, text messages, social media posts, and so forth, actually taking the time and effort to handwrite a sincere note to someone takes on a lot of meaning. I'm a note writer. I've handwritten notes to my employees telling them how much I appreciate them. I've handwritten notes to mentors and those who have influenced my professional and personal development over the years. I've handwritten notes to operators for doing a good job or taking the extra time to help me. I've handwritten notes of condolences to those who have lost loved ones and congratulations to those who have brought new life into the world. I've handwritten notes on Christmas cards so it's more than just a pretty card with a signature. I once had a customer pull me into his office and gesture at all the tins and boxes of cookies and treats he had been sent at Christmas from various vendors. He sincerely told me that all of that didn't mean as much to him as my handwritten Christmas card hanging on his wall. I was once on assignment in Puerto Rico for three months and sent a handwritten postcard back to one of my customers. That postcard hung on their bulletin board above their testing area for 15 years. Even better, I've gotten handwritten notes back. I still have many of them because they remind me of that person, that event, those times, or all of the above. You never know when your kind, sincere words may be just what that person needs to get through that particular day or week. Words mean things. Actions mean things. Handwriting a note to those who have mattered to you combines both words and actions. 2024 Events for Water Professionals Check out our Scaling UP! In this episode, Rhea and I interviewed Peter Van Thienen, who is the principal scientist at KWR. Peter offers insights into collapsology, defined as the study of how and why societies might decline or collapse due to environmental or economic pressures, and its critical relevance to water infrastructure. With a transition from geosciences to water research, he emphasizes the importance of preparing water systems for the unpredictability of future societal shifts and environmental changes. The discussion emphasizes the necessity for water infrastructure to be resilient and adaptable. Peter's research field also advocates for proactive strategies to protect water resources against the backdrop of potential societal collapse, ensuring community well-being and environmental sustainability.
The Walking Dead finally infiltrates KWR with the gorgeously charming "Princess" Paola Lazaro (a.k.a. Juanita Sanchez) and Brad Fleischer who plays Keith (Tortured by Aaron) talking their most fortunate experience with director Greg Nicotero. The conversation revolves around the show itself and then graduates to the art and challenges of writing and acting. Jess and Paolo get into self-help and the importance of the awareness of health issues. Brad and Dave talk horror, because guys are shallow. Behind the scenes stories aplenty.

Ed Turner, CEO, Kingwest Resources Limited shares with us the commercialisation of Menzies and raising further capital to consolidate the Sir Laurence Discovery. Kingwest has pulled off a great deal in getting cash flow from their Yandaga asset. The JV announced recently has meant that the company can now look forward to creating future cash flow while they continue to create discoveries. The terms of the JV means that Kingwest does not need to find capital to deal with the mining. To add sweetness to the deal, they are paid a fee of AUD1M for the right to do the work (Mining and Processing JV to see Gold Production Recommence at Menzies). Now that is a good deal. Watch this Rooster Talk with Ed Turner below.
Coffee with Samso Episode 106 with Ed Turner, CEO of Kingwest Resources Ltd (ASX: KWR) Kingwest has made a gold discovery in a project that has been in plain sight for all to see for decades. The geology may have been there for millions of years, but explorers have gone up and down that area for decades. Mineral exploration is one of those business activities where patience is the biggest asset to have along with an eager investment partner. Over the years, many have coined the phrase, Cash Is King. The mineral exploration industry has lived and died on the fortunes of investors since the first geological expedition set out many moons ago. Lady luck is the next obvious attribute that all explorers require and in the case of Kingwest Resources, it seems that the ducks have all lined up for them. When you look at what I have called the Discovery Line, the fact that all but 2 of the drillholes intercepted mineralisation of some sort is incredible. As an exploration geologist, i will attest that this phenomenon is not common. We see more negative results than positive ones, especially in the beginning of the program.

The Menzies Goldfields is finally finding its time in the limelight as Kingwest Resources Limited (ASX: KWR) delivers good results on every drilling program. When Kingwest first appeared in their first Coffee with Samso, - Coffee with Samso - Episode 025 - The Menzies Goldfields in October 2019, I have said that given that the management is genuine and funding is readily available, this is going to be Goldfield. I am happy to see that this is slowly unravelling my prophecy. Ed Turner has shared with us this journey since it is fantastic to see the relationship continuing over time. Ed shares with us his confidence in the strategy of the company. The buoyant market has allowed the company to explore and developed the near-surface resource. The current resource has increased from 170,000 ounces to 320,000 ounces with a 1g cut-off. The current drilling program is being extended because the results are demanding the continued presence of the drillers. Positive results are driving exploration activities. We have drilled down to 730m and we are still getting 25 g/t. - We are pushing to be in production in two years time.
