It's been over a year since Shadowhawk issues 1 & 2 were acquitted of 90s era awfulness. So with 40 episodes under his belt, will host Nathaniel Wayne be as forgiving as last time? Sorry for the delay, but here I am with Episode 29 of Head Speaks. This episode I start with Geekin With Head where I talk about MY religon. The religion of comic books! Then at the 19 minute mark I bring out At The Movies With Head, where I look at the comic book tv properties I'm watching (or not watching) and talk about them. Then at 50 minutes in, I have What's In Head's Longbox, where I continue my Atom coverage, with Justice League of America 225-227 (a three issue arc NOT written by Gerry Conway). Then an hour later (at the one hour fifty two minute mark.... 52??? Did I do that on purpose? We may never know), we hear Where's Head Going? Today I talk about another podcast I listen to, Nathaniel Wayne's 90's Comic Retrial. This is a podcast where Mr. Wayne looks at a book from the 90's and determines whether that era is malgined or not.... Then for my final song in honor of Christmas, I play "Santa is a B-Boy" by Whistle. Make sure to rate us on iTunes and while you're at it... tell a friend.

FINAL EPISODE. Ryan Daly reviews BLACK CANARY #12, the last issue from the Blonde Bombshell's 1993 series. But he can't cover this story alone--it's so '90s, it's going to take special guest star Nathaniel Wayne from Council of Geeks to put this insanity into words. All of this sets the stage for next year's POWER OF FISHNETS Podcast devoted to Black Canary and the Mistress of Magic, Zatanna!

Ryan Daly welcomes Kyle Benning, Nathaniel Wayne, and the Irredeemable Shag to a roundtable discussion about the Marvel Comics miniseries JOURNEY TO STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS: SHATTERED EMPIRE. Okay, it's not much of a roundtable discussion. In fact, it was recorded separately over two sessions and cobbled together in a nightmarish post-Thanksgiving tryptophan haze. If there is a phrase to encapsulate the 1990s when it comes to comic books, that phrase would probably be "over the top." However there were few character who embraced and ran with that notion with as much brazen abandon as DC's Lobo. The interstellar bounty hunter with a bad attitude received a special #0 issue as part of DC's Zero Hour event and host Nathaniel Wayne brought along guest Paul Scavitto to help take a look at this one of a kind character.
Now that the trailer for THE FORCE AWAKENS has been out for two days, Ryan Daly and guest Nathaniel Wayne from COUNCIL OF GEEKS analyze and scrutinize the footage in greater depth. 90s Comics Retrial page: https://90scomicsretrial.wordpress.com
2015 saw the release of two very different films dealing with machines gifted with artificial intelligence, and host Nathaniel Wayne and guest Paul Scavitto both had equally different preferences.
