Did you know that up to 99% of the decisions we make are subconscious? These two things married together simplify business and create an automated system that continues to work for you.Data tells the story. Tracking how many clicks through a funnel, sales page or email, tells if your automated system is actually working for you. If you notice things aren't working, adjust, and keep trying until you find what works best.Make sure your call to action is helping you make sales. If the sales page isn't working, it can feel like the whole funnel isn't working. Sometimes you just need to adjust your type of call to action, book a call versus a sales page, to see what more people will actually do.Set time boundaries. If you are doing a lot of 1-on-1 work, set boundaries around your availability. Don't burn yourself out. Is your funnel working for your business? In this episode of Art of Online Business, I'm diving into some of the problems I see people having when it comes to building a funnel for their coaching business.I can tell you what buttons to press in your ads and give you templates to use, but that's just one part of the process. In this episode of Art of Online Business, I'm sharing an interview that I did on Neill Williams's podcast. She's been on my podcast several times, and in this one, I interviewed her about one of her sales funnels for her business. She created a brand new program in the summer of 2022, and in the first 93 days of launching it, she generated over $100,000. This was a brand new offer with a brand new audience. She didn't market to her existing audience at all. She started entirely from scratch. In this interview, she shares why she decided to do that. We also break down the entire funnel. For the first half, she used an Evergreen funnel with no webinar or video series. Her new audience went from Facebook ad to the lead magnet, to the email follow-up, and then to purchasing her $2000 program. This is not an easy thing to do, not a lot of people can make it happen. In this episode, Neill breaks down exactly how she did it. She utilized the power of testing and had an enormous amount of success, and quickly. In this episode, you'll learn:The importance of showing what is and isn't workingWhy Neill decided to start from scratch with this offerHow she structured her funnelWhy templates sell so wellWhat is working well with Facebook adsHow Neill thinks about launchingWhat the two phases of investment areHow much she spent on ads during this launchWhy you should be thinking about the long-term sustainability in your businessThe importance of testing everything in your funnelLinks & Resources:The Art of Online Business websiteDM me on InstagramVisit my YouTube channelThe Art of Online Business clips on YouTubeFull episodes of The Art of Online Business Podcast on YouTubeThe Art of Online Business Podcast websiteCheck out my Accelerator coaching program*Disclosure: I only recommend products I use and love and all opinions expressed here are my own. Today's guest is an incredible life and business coach and mentor. Neill Williams was my first life coach and she has built a really wonderful business that supports coaches and others in the online business space. Neill's business started out as a side hustle when she was working full-time with a young child - and she drops a lot of gold in this conversation.
In the past 24 hours, I swear I've seen this concept of "Quiet Quitting" everywhere. It's this idea that staff does the "bare minimum" as a way to push against the system that's not valuing them or their work. And I find this fascinating, especially in education.Because, let's be honest, education is not in a great spot right now to say the least.Something (or rather, lots of things) has to deeply and fundamentally change. And while this email isn't here to discuss that - it's here to support you and your own mental health - I just want to acknowledge that what many of you are facing as educators right now is a system that is flawed, that doesn't value and support teachers they way that they should be ... the list could go on.But all of this got me thinking about what's called the CTFAR Method that I learned from Neill Williams that goes as such:C = CircumstanceT = ThoughtsF = FeelingsA = ActionsR = ResultsAnd while this concept won't be for all of you, I think it will serve many of you - especially those of you stuck in a position that isn't positive, but who still want to find a way to be happy ... this is your life, after all. While you can't control all aspects of CTFAR - right, we can't control our circumstance ... we can control everything else.We get to be in charge of our thoughts around a circumstance, which lead to our feelings, our actions, and ultimately our results, or the reality we experience in our lives. It essentially takes that old adage of "Life is 10% what happens to you, 90% how you react" but in a much clearer, concrete way.So my thought for you around this is the following:While you can't control your circumstance at all, you do get to control your thoughts around those circumstances, which means you get to control your happiness. And this isn't an either/or situation. This is a both/and.You can be mad at the system, frustrated to no end at unsupportive admin, or left in disbelief with bad student behavior AND empower yourself to control the narrative of your life.In fact, in a recent podcast episode I listened to with Ed Mylett and Dean Graziosi, they were talking about using the pain or pleasure we face as humans to kickstart us in propelling ourselves forward to control that exact narrative, with the ultimate goal of using pleasure to take inspired action toward a different life.I'm happy to share the link to this episode if you're interested - just hit "reply" and let me know. And while I know this concept isn't for everyone, I have found it to be extremely powerful in every aspect of my life - from work to relationships to personal growth. The gist? We can't control our circumstances, but we can control everything else. Here's to another great week, living intentionally.Caitlin

In the first four years of my online business, we were able to hit seven figures. I don't say that to brag, but as more of a cautionary tale. I really thought that was what success looked like because that was what I was told. You aren't successful until you hit that mark. I'm here to tell you that is a bunch of crap. I hit that mark and felt empty and like I didn't know what to do next. My mental and physical health and my relationships all suffered in pursuit of this goal. After a while, my revenue actually dipped. Along with a friend's help, I figured out that it was because my brain was self-sabotaging my success. I had convinced myself that the success I wanted would come at the expense of my health and relationships. It wasn't until I worked through that limiting belief that I was able to increase my revenue again. In today's episode of Art of Online Business, I am sharing a coaching call with one of my members inside of my Accelerator program. This student had begun to associate the idea of hitting her goals with the feeling of burnout. She associated the feeling of calm with lower revenue. She was hitting her goals but she just wasn't happy. I know that so many people can relate to this topic here so I knew I had to share it. By listening to this coaching call between one of the Accelerator coaches, Neill Williams, and one of my members, Gloria, you'll get some truly valuable insights and tips to help you work through this kind of blockage in your business as well. In this episode, you'll learn:Different ways to achieve your revenue goals without feeling burned outThe limiting beliefs that people have around hiring and costsHow your thoughts impact your businessHow to rewrite the definition of costTips for looking at the costs in your business in a different wayLinks & Resources:The Art of Online Business websiteDM me on InstagramVisit my YouTube channelThe Art of Online Business clips on YouTubeFull episodes of The Art of Online Business Podcast on YouTubeThe Art of Online Business Podcast websiteCheck out my Accelerator coaching program*Disclosure: I only recommend products I use and love and all opinions expressed here are my own. It's always exciting having another productivity coach on the show with me and this episode definitely starts off on the right foot! This was a fun and engaging conversation that I've been eager to release! Neill Williams is a mom, wife, and former overworked cog in the corporate wheel. Until she decided to take control of the life she wanted and unbusy it! She is now a Master Life and Scheduling Coach who is helping overwhelmed entrepreneurs do the same with her online courses and podcast Unbusy your Life with Neill Williams Being busy and in constant "not enough time in the day" mode can stem from a busy mindset. Neill dives into what she calls Mind Hygiene - brain dumping your thoughts and cleaning that out so that your brain can work the way it was designed to. Her goal is to help people understand time but also their mind - how they feel and how they show up in their time. We discuss a variety of topics such as redefining the word productive and removing the stigma that comes with it. Bringing it back to what productive really means to you and what makes you productive in your own mind. And how unbusy'ing your life can not only bring you balance but also to your loved ones. Welcome back to another episode of the Not So Wimpy Entrepreneur Podcast! Have you ever worked with a mindset coach? Getting a mindset coach was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I make every single one of our meetings a priority in my schedule. My coach, Neill Williams, has helped me with everything from managing my time to changing my mindset around things like goals and money. In this episode, I'm sharing 5 of the most important lessons that I've learned from her. Each one of these lessons has had an invaluable impact on my life and business. Whether you have a coach of your own or you've never even heard of mindset coaches, this episode has something for you. Episode 92 Takeaways: + Mindset coaches are invaluable. + Make sure you're problem-solving before the problem pops up. + You should be making decisions ahead of time. + Plan for results, not just what you're going to be working on. + Schedule thinking time. + Money is just a data point. + More money allows you to have a bigger impact. + Goals aren't about meeting a number, they're about what you learn along the way. + If you don't meet a goal, it doesn't mean you've failed. I could talk forever about things I've learned from my coach, but the 5 lessons in this episode are some of the most valuable. I hope something from this episode resonates with you and helps you to go out and have a bigger impact. Today's episode of the podcast is an interview with Neill Williams. Neill is a Master Certified Life and Productivity Coach who helps too busy high-achieving online entrepreneurs scale back their work weeks to 30 hours or less so they can do what they most want to do, most of the time. We talk all about how we can become more productive and organised, as well as staying accountable so you can work smarter and reach your goals working fewer hours. We also give you some of the mindset tools and practical tools you need to do this! KEY TAKEAWAYS COVERED IN THE PODCAST Time does not = money. You can earn a great amount of money working less hours – it is possible. You have to have the mindset in place first to take the action of systemising or delegating in your business. Don't take your employee mindset into running your own business – you have to think about everything and hold yourself accountable. We are the CEO of our own businesses – everything is down to us. Let go of the cookie-cutter version of what you think a CEO looks like. To have self-integrity – you have to keep the promises you set yourself. Create an amazing relationship and don't let yourself down by not doing what you planned to do. When you give yourself less time, you have to be more efficient! Cutting hours is a great way to increase your productivity because it limits you being distracted and procrastinating. Ask yourself – does it make the boat go faster? Is what you are doing pushing you towards your goal? Carve out time for being the ‘employee' eg Fulfilling/delivering your product/service and being the ‘CEO' eg Marketing/selling. Schedule thinking time – you are solving a problem for someone. Give your brain things to focus on during this time eg what is my goal for next year? What are my next 3 steps? You don't have to do ALL the things – you need to have a focus and know where you are going. Scaling back the number of hours we have been conditioned to work gives us the freedom to be flexible and spontaneous. THE ONE THING YOU NEED TO REMEMBER ABOVE ALL ELSE… Don't add complexity when it comes to making money – it only takes one amazing offer or thing done really well and one platform. HIGHLIGHTS YOU SIMPLY CAN'T MISS How Neill scaled back her working hours but still hit 6 figures in her business. How you can work less hours whilst earning 6 figures. How to stay accountable when you are running your own business. How to be more productive in your day and get more done in less time. Intentional productivity vs intentional time-wasting. I love the topic we're talking about today, because it's something I struggled with early on in my business. We're gonna be talking about creating offers, and why it is the one of the foundational skills you need as an online business owner.Eight years ago I was burning through my savings. I was 15 months removed from my corporate job, and I was getting pretty close to the point where I might have to go back to the corporate world, which is not what I wanted to do.I met with a business coach and they said, “Why aren't you making any money in your business?” I was like, “Well, if I knew the answer to that question I wouldn't be here.” Then I thought about it further, and I was like, “Oh, wait, I'm not selling anything!”I wasn't selling anything. I didn't have an offer. The offer creation process is so fundamental to the success of your business. As soon as I created my first offer back in 2014, the business took off.I had an offer, and I knew who I wanted to attract and how I wanted to help them. There's nothing better than creating an offer suited specifically for the needs and challenges of the audience you want to serve, or your existing audience that's telling you, “Hey, we need help with this.”Well, on today's show I'm talking with Neill Williams. She created an offer called “10K in 10 hours.” Number one, that's a brilliant name. I wish I had thought of it.Second, she created the offer based on everything that you're going to hear her talk about today. Neill tells us how she did it, how she came up with it, and why you don't need to be great at sales to make money. It really comes down to the offer creation process. That's what we're gonna be diving into today. In this episode, you'll learn:A fundamental part of your business' successThe crucial starting point many creators struggle withWhy creating a great offer beats having great sales skillsHow to package your offer for maximum impactDoes your offer need to be perfect? How to make your offer stand out from the rest and increase salesThe benefits and advantages of business coachingLinks & Resources:My previous episodes with NeillDM me on InstagramVisit my YouTube channelThe Art of Online Business clipsThe Art of Online Business websiteThe Art of Online Business Podcast websiteCheck out my Accelerator coaching programNeill Williams' Links:Neill WilliamsNeill Williams CoachingFull show notes are available here

Are you setting big goals for yourself? Chances are, you're not setting big goals because you're afraid of not reaching them.If that sounds like you, if you're setting small goals, you're not alone. I've found that most people don't set big enough goals for themselves. Oh, and by the way, I've also been guilty of this. When we set a goal for ourselves, we often set the bar really low. We set goals we know we can achieve. That way, we avoid the risk of failure and all of the negative thoughts and consequences that happen as a result of missing the mark.About a year ago, I did an episode where I shared my thoughts about thinking differently about our goals. And since I recently had Neill Williams here on the podcast to talk about setting goals for 2022, I thought this would be a good time for you to hear that episode from a year ago. It's an episode that I got a lot of great feedback about. It surprised and inspired a lot of people about reframing our perspective on setting goals, and it fits in really well with the work we do inside of our Accelerator coaching program. In this episode, you'll learn:How our past experiences influence our current goal-setting habitsWhy viewing your goals as glass ceilings can be so powerfulWhat's even more important than reaching your goalsA great way to stay motivated as you tackle your goals.Links & Resources Mentioned in this Episode:Neill WilliamsDM me on InstagramVisit my YouTube channelThe Art of Online Business websiteThe Art of Online Business Podcast websiteCheck out my Accelerator coaching programFull show notes are available here
Have you laid out your goals for 2022?While some of you have begun setting goals for the coming year, many of you may have not yet started. That's ok, because I know a lot of us can begin to feel overwhelmed when thinking about mapping out a plan for the new year.I sat down with Neill Williams to talk about how to set and achieve goals for the upcoming year. When it comes to setting goals for next year, there are two ways to do it: achievement-oriented goals, and growth-oriented goals.Achievement-oriented goals are set with an accomplishment in mind. Reaching these goals are pretty much 100 percent under your control. You either do it, or you don't. Success is not dependent upon anyone but yourself. We set these kinds of goals just to get something done. The other kind of goal you set is for growth. That's literally it. You set a goal that requires you to grow in some way to be able to achieve it. The point of that goal is not to reach it. The point of it is the growth that you get while going after it.Today, Neill and I are going to walk you through a goal-setting strategy for 2022. We talk about the mindset challenges that can come up, and how to deal with them. We also look at how to decide what kind of goals we want to set for the new year.In this episode, you'll learn:Two types of goals for a successful 2022How to expand your decision-making abilitiesThe million dollar mindset for business growthHow to double your revenueWhy failure is crucial to your successThe right way to set goalsBuilding upon what's already workingLinks & Resources Mentioned in this Episode:Multiple 6-Figure Coaching Business (in 12 Months) w/Neill WilliamsBONUS: How to Get More Done In Less Time w/Neill WilliamsDM me on InstagramVisit my YouTube channelThe Art of Online Business websiteThe Art of Online Business Podcast websiteCheck out my Accelerator coaching programNeill Williams' Links:Neill Williams$10K In 10 HoursNeill's InstagramThe Unbusy Your Life podcastFull show notes are available here
EPISODE 81 "If I only had more time..." Does that sentiment sound familiar? I'm sure we've all said it, thought it, or felt it. Neill Williams joins me on the show today to talk about how we can be more efficient with our work time to make more room in our lives for leisure and personal fulfillment. Neil shares some interesting facts about human psychology and brain function when it comes to the perception of time and mental habits. She also discusses the importance of scheduling and setting realistic goals for ourselves, as well as how to stick to the plans we make! Neill Williams went from working crazy 60 hour work weeks in a corporate environment to cutting that time in half and still producing the same results. When it comes to scheduling and efficiency, she is an expert. Neill is a certified life and productivity coach, the host of the Unbusy Your Life Podcast, and the creator of several courses on time management. Rather than the traditional working model of trading time for money, she believes that product and result-driven valuations are the way of the future. Neill now works a 30 hour work week teaching entrepreneurs and corporate executives how to "unbusy" their lives. In this episode, we cover: - Societal pressure to work and achieve MORE - Time at work vs. time spent actually working - Making decisions efficiently and workload organization - When and how to create a personal schedule - How to stay accountable to your schedule - Tips on how to complete tasks you don't "feel" like doing - Procrastination Debt: what it is and how to eliminate it - Strategies for setting realistic goals - How to schedule for creativity - Using podcast task time estimates as a selling point with clients If you want to chat more about this topic, I would love to continue this conversation with you, over on Instagram! @laurenwrighton SHOW NOTES: https://laurenwrighton.com/episode81

Welcome back to the Six Figs Podcast everyone! This week's episode is powerful, to say the least, and that is because of a very special person: Neill Williams. Neill is a certified life coach through Brooke Castillo's, The Life Coach School and her specialty is coaching entrepreneur moms. We met back in October through a mastermind we were both in and since then we've gotten to know each other very well. She is a Six Figs client (we produce her podcast) and Neill is my life coach. I knew I couldn't hoard her to myself so I was so happy when she agreed to come to chat with us on the podcast. In Episode 34 you'll get to experience a snippet of her coaching style and you'll learn how life coaching can be such a beneficial tool to utilize as an entrepreneur. In our conversation we talk about: A thought that I am currently struggling with The importance of not withholding feedback The truth about growth and personal development How Neill became a life coach Common misconceptions about life coaching The difference between therapy and life coaching and how they can be useful in their own ways What Neill loves most about coaching mom entrepreneurs One of the most important thoughts to practice If this episode resonated with you and you are interested in diving deeper, head to Neill's website to find out how YOU can work with her. Here are a few more ways to connect with Neill: Instagram Facebook Her podcast, Unbusy Your Life So with that, thank you for tuning into the Six Figs Podcast.
