What minority group in America is to blame for Trump's victory? And, finally, which blue check libs are going to lead the march on the capitol in January to stop the steal?

Is it possible to believe in God and follow Jesus and not have it impact our lives? If God Created the entire universe would denying this not have an impact also? If faith and doubt both have their own impacts are these only subjective? Does it not make any difference if you are an atheist or Christian to how you live and the kind of life you will have? If the impacts are not subjective, cannot they not be measured? The topic of this talk is faith and its empirical validation. No matter what you believe, we must assume if belief is justified it will produce better life results than a denial of what is true. And if the impact of faith on our life is real, there is no reason to assume it cannot be empirically measured and experimentally validated.

We, the National TRUTH Council of 2017-18, draft this document in the radical tradition of creating manifests in order to define our revolution and achieve liberation. The manifesto was inspired by and builds upon the Black Panther Party's Ten-Point Program, the Young Lord's 12 Point Program and Platform, and the Third World Gay Revolution. The manifesto is not a static document, but a living one, so that it may be updated and changed to reflect the council's increasing understanding of the systems of oppression and the changes in the language we use to describe both ourselves and these systems. We are in a moment which calls for us to bravely and ferociously fight for our communal liberation. In this moment, in the name of our transgender and gender nonconforming ancestors who struggled before us, in our blood, bones, and our spirits, we claim our right to existence and our future victory with these frameworks to guide our own work and the work of future generations on our collective, continuous journey towards liberation.1) We Call for the Right to Self-Determination and Control of Our DestiniesWe as trans youth have the right to control our narratives, spaces, and all aspects of our lives. Resources to achieve this trans empowerment must be made more readily accessible and available.2) We Call for the Abolition of the Police, ICE, Borders and the Judicial SystemWe demand abolition! Abolition of the police, abolition of borders and ICE, abolition of the current punishment-based justice system. We demand for our communities to be empowered to take care of themselves, for no borders, for rehabilitation and healing justice. Abolition is a process that we are committed to fight for.3) We Call for an End to Disposability Politics and a Commitment to Transformative JusticeWe believe in establishing a culture of accountability that is transformative in nature and creates opportunity for growth. We must take responsibility and hold space for the collective wellbeing and unity of our people.4) We Call for an End of the Cisgender Heterosexual PatriarchyWe recognize that the current state of the world centralizes the stories of white cisgender heterosexual men. We call for the end of a social structure that separates or determines the value of people on gender expectations from historical Europe. We demand that queer and/or TGNC people no longer be oppressed by these frameworks, institutions, and their enablers.5) We call for Decolonization and Reparations for all Indigenous and Black PeoplesWe call for the payment of reparations that are owed and the reclamation of cultural practices by the communities from which they originated. We call for the active and complacent perpetrators of cultural appropriation and colonization to be held accountable and to recognize the privilege they maintain through the oppression of others.6) We Call for Comprehensive Education that Reflects our Histories and NeedsWe call for the use of informed educational practices that provide access to curriculum to help build opportunities for historically erased peoples. We call for free and non-compulsory education for all ages and for all access levels....ADVISOR HANDBOOKSupport the show

TGIF!! In this episode we discuss the Black Panther Party's 10 point program. The Panthers considered themselves the "vanguard" party of the Black Power Movement. To claim this title, they had to outline a set of specific demands and formulate a detailed revolutionary philosophy.
Bill Wich, creator of the Omega Point Program (OPP), joins the podcast and shares about the evolution and impact of the OPP. I recently completed the OPP's 20 day mentorship process, where I spent 45 minutes each day going through a series of scripts with the same friend taking turns in the role of mentor and mentee. I found that this process grew my listening, empathy, intuition, and peacefulness, and I highly recommend it. In my interview with Bill, he talks about the roots of the OPP, and takes us back over 30 years ago to a spiritual experience he had that was precipitated by a hypnosis session. Ever since this awakening Bill has been a passionate student of healing and spirituality. He drew on his design aptitude, strengthened by a degree in aerospace engineering and a career in corporate management at Ford and Toyota, to efficiently combine and reframe spiritual tools into new training modalities that are powerfully effective and more easily accessible. Bill describes the latest innovations in the OPP and the dimensions of experience that the higher phases open up for us. Bill and I also explore the place of spiritual experience in organized religion and in modern society. Bill ends by sharing a few examples of the profound shifts he has witnessed in people that have gone through the OPP. Charles True has been building the kind of life he doesn’t want to relapse from for many years. His project work has taken him around the world including China, Russia, and the United Kingdom. One of his most impactful projects is the InsideOut® program. InsideOut is a cognitive-based therapy (CBT) program for substance abuse treatment (offender rehab) in correctional settings and is based around the 4-Point Program® of SMART Recovery. Charles partnered with Ron Lott and together they facilitate the InsideOut program in the Houston, Texas, prisons. They have also co-authored the book Successful Life Skills, which they say is the epitome of what the recovery movement represents. Charles and Ron are adapting the book to reach a broader audience beyond those struggling with addiction. Charles said people have been asking for a new version of the book and he and Ron are making it happen. Charles lives by the motto, “turn your life into a project, always have a purpose, and wake up grateful.” The SMART community is very grateful for the work he and Ron are doing.

Ten Point Program 703 YouTube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3zjjrohk8qMVLQXQ5NGJHA Hey guys welcome to another episode of the ASD- Andre Shouldn’t Drink Podcast! Today we have a special guest by the name Mondell Opoku AKA Ten Point Program 703 on Youtube! What’s really awesome about Ten Point Program 703 is that he’s and activist from my home state of Virginia! If I’m honest we don’t have many here, so it was exciting to get to hear from a rising star in the activism world of auditing and cop watching. In this podcast episode we talk about his viral video where he’s confronted by the Prince William County Police Department for filming a government building while wearing a mask. If you haven’t seen this video I highly recommend you do. He unfortunately ends up getting arrested. We talk about what he’s learned throughout this unfortunate experience with the Prince William Police Department, he updates us on the court case, he talks about the complaints he’s filed, the lawyer he’s hired, and drops a lot of wisdom on what it takes to be an activist just starting out. We even talk about what his family thinks of all this… It was a great conversation with a lot of insight on his mindset and motivation to get out there and continue his activism for the people. Join me now as we go behind the scenes of the viral video that put Ten Point Program 703 on the map! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/andrecandrink/message
The mainstream media has created a pasteurized and homogenized version of Martin Luther King, Jr, befitting the neoliberal cultural bell jar. That being said, our friend Mathew Forstater reminds us that Dr King had a laser-like focus on economics and unemployment. The massively successful August 1963 march was called The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom for a reason. Without economic security, the social and political advances of the civil rights movement cannot take hold. Steve kicks off the interview by asking Mat to speak about MLK in the context of today’s debate about a Universal Basic Income versus the Federal Job Guarantee. Dr King and other civil rights leaders promoted an economic bill of rights that was specifically and intentionally not a UBI. The three-part platform demanded a job for anyone willing to work, an income guarantee for those who cannot work, and a raise in the minimum wage sufficient to lift the working poor out of poverty. All three prongs are necessary -- a job guarantee alone doesn’t help those who cannot work; raising the minimum wage doesn’t help the working poor. Dr King’s vision of a job guarantee encompasses four vital components: 1. The development of education and skills must be outcomes of the program and not prerequisites. Rather than being trained for nonexistent jobs, people are to be hired first and trained while they’re being paid. 2. Any jobs should produce community services -- the public and social services that are in short supply and benefit the neediest communities. Labor is directed to our most pressing demands, including environmental and social justice. 3. The program generates income for families that have unmet basic needs. There must be an improvement in basic standards. 4. Acknowledge that there are numerous psychological and social benefits for individuals, families, communities, and the nation as a whole. This is based on MLK's recognition of the social and economic costs of unemployment. Research outside the field of economics (anthropology, social psychology, sociology) confirms the importance of work. In contrast, a UBI provides no development of skills and no production of public services to benefit the community. In a UBI only the income piece is addressed. Supporters of the UBI tend to look at work or human labor not as it was meant to be -- a pursuit of one’s life mission. They're looking at dead-end low-paying jobs with horrible working conditions. It's understandable that they would oppose that kind of work. We have always distinguished our version of a job guarantee from draconian workfare -- the kind that forces welfare mothers to take underpaid jobs where they'll develop no skills or knowledge. Our plan is built around the understanding that people enjoy contributing, working with others, and developing their talents. For models, we look to successful programs of the past like the WPA, CCC, and Argentina’s Plan Jefes. In the rest of the interview, Mat explains that Dr King was not alone in advocating for a JG. He talks about the history of the Humphrey-Hawkins Act, which was originally intended as full-employment legislation but ultimately was gutted. From 1946 to 1978 virtually every major African American leader and organization came out for full employment, including James Farmer of CORE, Bayard Rustin of the AFL-CIO’s A. Philip Randolph Institute, and Oliver C. Cox, who wrote a number of Marxist critiques of capitalism. The second demand of the Black Panther Party’s 10 Point Program was that the government provide “full employment for our people.” We know our Macro n Cheese audience will appreciate this fascinating history of the intersection of the civil rights movement and the ongoing fight for a Federal Job Guarantee. Mathew Forstater is a Professor of Economics at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and Research Director at the Global Institute for Sustainable Prosperity. http://www.global-isp.org/research-director/ @mattybram on Twitter

In our last episode we discussed what it means for Bernie Sanders, a democratic socialist, to run in the presidential race. If the left is serious about supporting Sanders, we propose a modest 10 point agenda that Sanders and the left should push in the campaign and beyond. Without a clear vision of what we on the left want, we will end up with nothing. Could the Sanders run become a real people's movement?
