La scelta del luogo racconta il legame tra territorio, comunità e istituzioni e usa i Giochi come vetrina culturale oltre che sportiva. L Olimpiade Milano Cortina 2026 è la quarta edizione italiana e adotta un modello diffuso con gare in sette sedi tra Lombardia, Veneto e Trentino Alto Adige. L apertura simbolica con due bracieri accesi a Milano e Cortina ha segnato l avvio di un evento record per partecipazione: quasi tremila atleti di 92 paesi, con alta rappresentanza femminile e nuove discipline. Secondo le stime economiche, i Giochi potrebbero generare oltre 5 miliardi di euro tra turismo e investimenti grazie a più di 90 opere infrastrutturali e sportive, con effetti duraturi sul flusso turistico. Il modello diffuso comporta però costi superiori alle attese e una complessità logistica elevata. Il budget organizzativo è cresciuto rispetto alle stime iniziali e si sommano ingenti investimenti pubblici per infrastrutture. La scelta di usare per oltre il 90 per cento impianti già esistenti risponde alla strategia del Cio di evitare nuove costruzioni inutili, modernizzando strutture storiche e puntando su sostenibilità ambientale, economica e sociale. Milano Cortina 2026 nasce infatti come prima Olimpiade pienamente allineata ai nuovi standard internazionali di sostenibilità, con l obiettivo di lasciare una legacy concreta e duratura su un territorio molto ampio. Depuis son élection surprise en mai 2025 en tant que maire de Gênes, Silvia Salis dynamite la scène politique italienne : nouvel optimisme progressiste, soutien à la flottille pour Gaza, administration majoritairement féminine... Au point d'avoir un destin national ? Silvia Salis a peut-être écrit son autobiographie un peu trop tôt. La bambina più forte del mondo (La petite fille la plus forte du monde, éditions Salani) : un livre pour enfants sorti en 2022 dans lequel elle raconte sa jeunesse de lanceuse de marteau. Ou comment elle a dû jouer des coudes dans un environnement masculin avant de devenir dix fois championne d'Italie et de participer à deux reprises aux Jeux olympiques. En 2025, la jeune femme passe des stades d'athlétisme à l'arène politique. Elle est en train de s'imposer dans un autre milieu à peine plus féminin : celui de la politique italienne. Sa candidature d'indépendante de centre-gauche pour la mairie de Gênes a obtenu le soutien d'une très large coalition. La réformiste séduit, de la gauche socialiste aux centristes libéraux en passant par l'attrape-tout Mouvement 5 étoiles. C'est ainsi qu'en mai 2025, elle est élue maire de la sixième ville d'Italie, à 39 ans. Une transition tout en douceur Ce passage du sport à la politique ne s'est pas fait du jour au lendemain. « Après sa carrière d'athlète, elle a eu un poste au Coni, le comité olympique italien, rembobine Massimiliano Panarari, professeur de communication politique à l'université de Modène et Reggio Emilia et éditorialiste à La Stampa. Avant cela, elle a même dirigé l'équipe d'athlétisme de la police pénitentiaire et s'est occupée du marketing à la fédération. » Des postes à responsabilité, donc, « mais aucune expérience politique directe dans la politique politicienne à l'intérieur d'un parti », note Massimiliano Panarari. Silvia Salis apporte alors de la fraîcheur au débat politique. Il faut dire qu'avec un père communiste et une mère fonctionnaire, elle ne partait pas de si loin. « C'est une figure entre le sport et la politique spectacle, qui a épousé le très célèbre metteur en scène Fausto Brizzi, analyse le professeur de communication politique. Silvia Salis représente un exemple de ce qu'on pourrait appeler une ''poussée anti-politique'', mais pas négative, dans le paysage politique italien. » Une caractéristique qui se remarque, dans ce paysage marqué par le populisme. Mais cela n'empêche pas l'ancienne athlète, qui court toujours 10 kilomètres chaque matin, de prendre des mesures fortes. Dès sa prise de fonction à Gênes, elle nomme une majorité de sept femmes sur les douze membres de son équipe municipale. Un réformisme mieux taillé pour affronter Giorgia Meloni En voyant Silvia Salis prendre les rênes du mouvement pro-palestinien italien, certains la voient déjà mener la gauche à la conquête du poste de Première ministre en 2027. La lanceuse de marteau affiche en effet son soutien à la flottille pour Gaza au départ de Gênes fin août. « Palestina libra ! », scande-t-elle encore samedi 27 septembre aux manifestations contre les ventes d'armes à Israël, toujours dans le port de Gênes. Elle aime également mobiliser le passé de Gênes, ville résistante à l'extrême droite, qu'elle soit nazie ou fasciste. Mais sa position sur Gaza reste commune à toute la gauche italienne. Si Silvia Salis se distingue d'Elly Schlein, la cheffe du Parti démocrate et leader de l'opposition, c'est plutôt grâce à sa modération sur les autres sujets. À lire aussiItalie : des centaines de milliers de personnes manifestent en soutien à Gaza La gauche gagnerait-elle à être plus réformiste que radicale ? « On entre aujourd'hui dans une nouvelle phase, pour Lorenzo Castellani, professeur d'histoire et d'institutions politiques à l'université Luiss à Rome. Giorgia Meloni se présentait en anti-système, une politicienne d'extrême droite. Or, après trois ans de pouvoir, elle s'avère bien plus modérée que prévu et fait valoir ses talents de politicienne... On est donc loin de l'anti-système ! Cela pourrait changer la stratégie de la coalition de gauche. Celle-ci pourrait chercher un nouveau candidat capable aussi d'attirer les électeurs de droite. » Un registre dans lequel Silvia Salis brille justement à Gênes. Mais pour convertir l'essai à l'échelon national, son inexpérience pourrait finalement se retourner contre elle. « C'est extrêmement compliqué de passer au niveau national depuis une ville comme Gênes, qui bien sûr avait été gagnée par la droite, mais qui a quand même des traditions progressistes », nuance en effet Massimiliano Panarari. Silvia Salis jure pour l'instant se consacrer entièrement à la mairie de Gênes, ainsi qu'à son jeune fils. Ce dernier porte le nom du père de Silvia, Eugenio, mort brutalement au début de la campagne pour les municipales.

Festivalul Strada Armenească revine între 1 și 3 august 2025 în Grădina Botanică „Dimitrie Brândză” din București. Și în acest an, festivalul își extinde aria de expresie dincolo de muzică și dans, propunând un program amplu de expoziții, ateliere participative și discuții. Dezvoltam acest subiect într-o discuție cu invitata emisiunii RFI360, Silvia Terzian, directoarea Festivalului Strada Armenească. Pe scena Festivalului Strada Armenească vin din Republica Moldova Zdob și Zdub, trupa-fenomen care a dus rockul basarabean pe marile scene ale lumii, Surorile Osoianu, recunoscute pentru păstrarea și rafinamentul interpretării cântecului tradițional moldovenesc și Frate Gheorghe & mica orchestră, ce aduc laolaltă influențe tradiționale, poezie și improvizație. România este reprezentată de Fanfare Ciocârlia, una dintre cele mai cunoscute fanfare din lume, de Robin and the Backstabbers, emblemă a scenei alternative locale, de Corina Sîrghi & Taraf, cu un repertoriu de romanțe și tangouri urbane. Din Armenia sosesc muzicienii de la Gata Band, cu jazz-ul lor etnic vioi și dansant, și legendara trupă The Bambir, activă de peste patru decenii, cu un sunet ce reunește rock progresiv, folclor și lirism balcanic. Atmosfera va fi completată de o serie de DJ sets și intervenții live susținute de Miko Baghdasarian ft. Skior și invitații lor speciali din Armenia și Ligia Keșișian ft. Lucas Molina. TALKS – Istorii personale, vocații colective Sâmbătă, 2 august, de la ora 16:30, la Biblioteca Festivalului, deschidem o fereastră spre secolul XX printr-o conversație despre negustorii armeni din România – cei care, traversând exilul, au construit punți comerciale și afective între Anatolia și orașele românești. Discuția pornește de la volumul De la Kayseri la București. Cusut până la capăt, semnat de Andreea Barbu, și îi are ca invitați pe Monica Dudian, Maria Erzian și Paul Agopian, colecționar de povești armenești la negustorie.ro.  Duminică, 3 august, tot de la 16:30, vorbim despre prezent și viitor: „Roots Beyond Borders” este un talk despre ce înseamnă să fii tânăr și armean în diaspora. Invitații – Silva Sahakyan (Franța), Ruzanna Grigoryan (Letonia) și Manushak Danielyan (Germania) – fac parte din Diaspora Youth Ambassadors Program 2024–2025 și vorbesc despre identitate, conexiuni transnaționale și cum se păstrează viu un fir cultural într-o lume în continuă mișcare. Discuția este moderată de Hrant Jaghinyan, Diaspora Youth Ambassador din partea României. EXPOZIȚII – memorie și identitate Pe tot parcursul festivalului, vizitatorii vor putea explora o serie de expoziții care documentează, reinterpretează și celebrează cultura armeană. „Armenii jazzului românesc” aduce în prim-plan o parte mai puțin cunoscută a contribuției artistice armenești în România: fotografii de Emilian Săvescu și imagini de arhivă surprind figuri precum Garbis și Capriel Dedeian, Harry Tavitian, dar și imagini cu Johnny Răducanu sau Corneliu Stroe – pionieri ai unei scene muzicale între tradiție și libertate. „Revoluționare – Femei armene care au schimbat lumea”, ilustrată de Maretta Aivazian, ne aduce povești despre curaj, viziune și schimbare ale unor femei din Armenia, diaspora și România. „Centenarul ARARAT” este o incursiune în istoria presei armenești din România, o arhivă de memorie culturală marcată de figuri precum Vartan Mestugean și Arșag Bogdan Căuș, părinții spirituali ai publicației care a dat nume unei epoci editoriale. Expoziția de colaje curatoriată de Bucharest Collage Collective aduce în grădină viziuni fragmentate și poetice semnate de Alexandra Grigore, Beatrice Arzoiu, Cristina Gârleșteanu, Oana Iordăchescu și alți artiști care explorează tensiunile dintre imagine, text și memorie. Sâmbătă și duminică, între orele 12:00 și 16:00, cei mici se vor bucura de Basme armenești însuflețite de BCR – un spectacol-lectură cu păpuși inspirat din volumul Basme armenești de la Moș Suren, scris de Suren Muradyan și tradus în limba română de nepotul său, Arsen Arzumanyan. Spectacolul este susținut de trei tineri actori-păpușari – Radu Stăncescu, Florentina Bălan și Luca Horia Drăghici. ATELIERE – Culoare și meșteșug, zi de zi în Grădina Botanică Sâmbătă și duminică 12:00–14:00 | Atelier de pictat rodii cu Doriana Habian. Participanții sunt invitați să picteze, pe carton pânzat, rodii în miniatură – simbol al abundenței, vieții și frumuseții ascunse în cultura armeană. Atelier potrivit pentru toate vârstele. Sâmbătă și duminică 12:00–20:00 | Atelier Pressed Flowers. Compoziții florale presate pe hârtie, atelier potrivit pentru toate vârstele. 13:00–18:00 | Activități pentru copii. Call to action: Strada Armenească e mai mult decât un festival. Este locul unde ne regăsim în sunet, în culoare, în gesturi simple care apropie oameni și culturi. Din 2013, accesul a fost mereu gratuit – pentru ca oricine să se poată bucura de muzică, meșteșug, povești și apartenență. Tot ce vezi aici se construiește cu grijă, cu respect față de artiști și colaboratori, dar și cu efort constant. Dacă Strada îți aduce bucurie, ajută-ne să o păstrăm vie.
