Met Wim T. in het caféOp 26 oktober 2021 sprak Hester Wandel af met Wim T. Schippers in café Scheltema in Amsterdam. Niet perse om over hem te praten maar over haar oom graficus Wim Wandel met wie hij had samengewerkt. Ze spraken af in Scheltema want daar was het lekker rustig op een dinsdagochtend. Het was in coronatijd.Nou nee dus, de ober tetterde overal overheen en rammelde met stoelen en kopjes. Het leek wel een sketch van Wim T. zelf.Wim vertelde uitgebreid over Wim Wandel en hun samenwerking. Maar ook veel over zichzelf. Over hoe hij zijn werk verkocht aan het stedelijk, over z'n vader, over Bert en Ernie. Het was een gesprek van meer dan twee uur waarvan maar een klein deel gebruikt kon worden voor de podcast over Wim Wandel. Ook vanwege de herrie in het café. Maar ze mocht wel een keer in zijn atelier komen als het was opgeruimd. Maar daarvan kwam het nooit meer. In 2023 overleed zijn vrouw Ellen Jens. En opeens was Wim T. Schippers er niet meer. Hij overleed op 10 juni 2026, vlak voor zijn 84ste verjaardag.Omdat het zo'n leuk gesprek was daar in Scheltema heeft Hester besloten het gesprek helemaal uit te zenden met alle kroeggeluiden op de koop toe. An anonymous caller told a Mexican volunteer group that what happened to Nancy Guthrie ended in the Mariposa arroyos — a stretch of desert near the Arizona border where clandestine graves have been found before. He said her body is there. He described where to dig. The Nancy Guthrie case now stretches across an international border, and the people doing the searching are volunteers with shovels.Buscando Corazones Nogales, a collective that searches for the missing in Sonora, has conducted two searches based on this tip. Both came up empty. The caller persisted — reaching back out with revised directions after the first failure. A third search is scheduled. The Pima County Sheriff's Department says it has not been contacted by Mexican authorities. No U.S. law enforcement agency is involved.This episode lays out both sides. The location logic for burying someone in cartel territory — where remains get catalogued under a different crisis — isn't crazy. The caller's specificity is either damning or performative. The search group is legitimate and hasn't dismissed the tip. But the same questions keep surfacing: why did the caller bypass over a million dollars in rewards? Why does this tip follow the same routing pattern as the ransom notes? Mijn oude identiteit. De versie van mij die het eigenlijk nog steeds niet helemaal kon geloven. En het fascinerende is: sinds ik weer terugshift naar LOU, lijkt alles mee te bewegen. Mijn focus. Mijn energie. Mijn keuzes. Mijn business. Mijn toekomst. Werkelijk alles. En toen gebeurde er iets nóg vreemders. Ik besloot de betekenis van mijn naam nog eens op te zoeken. De eerste dag van het KLM Open viel ten prooi aan Aiolos (de bekendste en machtigste god van de wind). Hij werd (voor mensen die hem niet kennen) door Zeus aangesteld als de officiële bewaarder van de winden. Nou die Aiolos schept er dus genoegen in de wind ongenadig hard over The International te jagen. De ballen gingen er spontaan van rollen. Lang verhaal kort. Een update na ruim een ronde. Vanwege Christus Zijn opstanding en overwinning op de dood, is elke ochtend een nieuwe mogelijkheid voor ons om de overwinning die we in Christus hebben uit te dragen. Ik geloof dat zodra christenen 's morgens hun voeten op de grond zetten, de hel zou moeten beven. Demonen zouden moeten beven als ze zich realiseren dat we wakker zijn! Dat is precies wat er zal gebeuren wanneer we beseffen wie we zijn in Christus en de autoriteit die we in Hem hebben begrijpen. We zijn soldaten van Gods leger. We hebben autoriteit in Hem! Jezus heeft de zonde en de dood verslagen. Nu moeten we onwankelbaar blijven wandelen in de autoriteit en overwinning die Hij ons gegeven heeft. Dan zijn we extreem gevaarlijk voor de vijand van God!

Sta je nu op dit moment voor nieuwe mogelijkheden? Wat ook die mogelijkheden mogen zijn, het is altijd belangrijk om "de ark te volgen." Wat bedoel ik hiermee? Nou… soms kunnen we vasthouden aan oude, ingesleten situaties in het leven, gewoon omdat we daarmee bekend zijn en we in werkelijkheid gewoon bang zijn om het onbekende gebied in te gaan. Er zijn ook momenten dat we voelen dat er iets nieuws voor ons in het verschiet ligt en we er gewoon direct in willen stappen— voordat het Gods tijd voor ons is om dat te doen. In Jozua 3:3 praat God met Israël over het volgen van de Ark van het Verbond. De ark vertegenwoordigt Gods zalving... Gods aanwezigheid… Gods wil. Het is heel belangrijk voor ons te leren om Gods wil te volgen en niet onze eigen wil of de wil van anderen. God heeft een plan voor jou en mij, en de enige manier waarop je dat plan kunt zien ontvouwen is door de ark te volgen, of Gods wil, en niet ons vlees, andere mensen of onze emoties. Onthoud vandaag dat wat Gods wil voor je leven ook is, Hij jou de juiste weg zal wijzen om het gedaan te krijgen.

Hoe ging het co-sleepen met 2 kinderen op één kamer? Nou, voor geen meter. Dat mislukte faliekant.Het dwong me tot andere oplossingen (romy een eigen bed, Pip een eigen kamertje)...en dat werkt werkelijk fantastisch. Dus dat is hoe we het nu doen.
