The @LegendsOfShield (Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D.) Agents Lauren, Haley and Stargate Pioneer break down the Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode The The Things We Bury! They also run down the week in Marvel news, and run down all the awesome Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. feedback.   The hosts discuss Funko POP figures and what everyone has. Haley has Flash, Lauren has Winter Soldier, Rocket Racoon and Arya Stark, Nightwing has Robin and Nightwing but Stargate Pioneer doesn't have any of them --- YET.    The hosts discuss their desires again on an evil or good Fitz and the possibilities of a brainwashed Simons.    Stargate Pioneer can't pronounce Paul Atreides which leads the foursome down a short discussion on various Dune screen versions including the original David Lynch version. And also if one should watch the David Lynch Dune or read the Comic Saga. The answer is simple:Saga always comes first!    "Black Adam" called in with his desired roster of an all-female Avenger team: 1. Black Widow 2. Captain Marvel 3. Spider Woman 4. Invisible Woman (Science) 5. She-Hulk (Muscle) 6. Valkyrie (Muscle) 7. Agent Melinda May as S.H.I.E.L.D. liaison Lauren is really liking breaking out the team in skill sets instead of replacements of the current Cinematic Universe Avengers team.   X-Men 3 continues not to exist for the hosts.   Nightwing decides to give HIS all-female Avengers team. 1. Dagger 2. Red She-Hulk 3. Dazzler 4. Big Bertha 5. Firebird 6. Polaris 7. X-23   Lauren amends her list from podcast #44 1. Black Widow 2. Rescue 3. She-Hulk 4. Mockingbird 5. Agent 13 6. Carol Danvers   7. Haley - Scarlet Witch to include: 8. Molly Hayes 9. Nico Minoru   We all hear why Wing is wrong again because he didn't care for Big Hero 6. So French of him. No one was surprised.   Later, Wing did mention that Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier was the best Marvel movie. Haley mentioned that was one opinion she could respect. But don't get too excited. There are other opinions Wing has like on The incredible Hulk that Haley just wished Wing would stop drinking the cough syrup over.   Lauren tells us that Good Bye Lenin 2003 is a really good movie (That Haley hasn't seen yet of course). And Daniel Bruhl who will be in Captain America Civil War was in Good Bye Lenin.   Lauren regales us about her amazing Marvel knowledge of Ragnarok - clone or no clone - and Eson The Searcher. And we collectively wonder exactly where Odin is right now within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.   StarPi is completely deflated that he wasn't voted sexiest man alive and Chris Hemsworth got it instead. But all the GonnaGeek women hosts including Lauren, Haley and Katherine from Legends Podcast are really fine with it.   Haley watches The Chris Pratt Guardians Of The Galaxy Dance Off Gag Reel video live on the podcast and describes the awesomeness as it happens.    We learn that Wing loves to say his H'es when he describes an actress as "hot."   The Things We Bury Episode Discussion [41:15]   StarPi believes that Ward's character's arc of killing his brother and parents were known from the beginning of the series.   The best scene in the episode was definitely when all the evil characters (Ward, The Doctor, and Whitehall) are looking each other in the eye at the end to plan each other's demise.   We (all of the hosts on Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D.) will be calling Skye's mom Sierra from Dollhouse until we hear her real name in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.   The scene with Skype's Mom (Sierra) being operated on by Whitehall and then dumped in a ditch was very very dark. We don't generally expect this level of darkness from Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D..    In a classic StarPi move he manages to confuse Edwards James Olmos with James Earl Jones in name only. And in another classic Haley move she admits to not ever having watched Hunt For Red October. Or any of the Tom Clancy movies really.   Lauren states that "Fricking Robert Redford ruins everything!"   Wing brings up a great theory about an infinity stone within Attilan and Lauren likes the idea because it would reward the Marvel fan for watching the Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. television show in addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.    Don't forget that Simmons has definitely been made to "comply" by Whitehall.   Has Marvel rolled out the Inhumans 4 years too early? Haley thinks there are ways around it. And SP thinks that an Inhuman backstory before the movie would be a welcome addition to the way Marvel introduced Gamora and Nebula without any backstory at all.   Lauren brings up that is would be great if Skye's Dad, The Doctor, is Mr. Hyde from Marvel Comics. But Haley likes Maximus The Mad better.   And don't forget the Whitehall "origins" story that we saw in the episode. And Deputy Director May too!   NEWS   Winter Soldier reported to be “central character” for Cap 3 http://www.examiner.com/article/winter-soldier-reported-to-be-the-central-character-for-captain-america-3   Daniel Bruhl cast in Captain America: Civil War http://marvel.com/news/movies/23678/daniel_bruhl_cast_in_marvels_captain_america_civil_war   Frank Grillo has multi-movie deal with Marvel http://wegotthiscovered.com/movies/frank-grillo-crossbones-marvel-contract/   Crossbones “main villain” in Cap 3 http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/movies/news/a610537/crossbones-is-main-captain-america-civil-war-villain.html   X-men Apocalypse will be a love story between Magneto and Mystique http://www.hypable.com/2014/11/12/x-men-apocalypse-to-focus-on-mystique-and-magnetos-relationship/   Slashfilm reveals Thor: Ragnarok details http://www.slashfilm.com/thor-ragnarok/   Chris Hemsworth named People’s Sexiest Man Alive. http://www.themarysue.com/chris-yesworth/   GotG gag reel: DANCE OFF https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0qcPekvlAU   Possible contenders for Jessica Jones and Luke Cage casting http://www.themarysue.com/jessica-jones-luke-cage-casting/   For Jay: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/superhero-earns-13-billion-a-748281 http://comicbook.com/2014/11/13/spider-man-marvel-tops-batman-dc-in-licensing/   **** SPOILER **** ???? http://comicbook.com/2014/11/19/agents-of-s-h-i-e-l-d-alien-race-officially-revealed/   Haley, Lauren and Stargate Pioneer love to hear back from you about your top 5 Marvel character lists, you science of Marvel questions, why Wing is wrong at any time, what you'd like to see as the untitled 2018 FOX-produced Marvel based comic movie, or what kind of sport Agent Coulson would have played in school. Call the voicemail line  at 1-844-THE-BUS1 or 844-843-2871.  Join Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. next time as the hosts discuss Season 2 Episode 9 of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. As we get closer and closer to the end of the year, it's time that the Talking Crew discuss what comics will make it on our Best of 2012 lists. BUT before we get to that, we need to talk about what categories will make up our Best of 2012 lists... SO, we break down what we want to talk about and what we don't over the coming weeks and throw in some suggestions that YOU (our wonderful and loyal listeners) have suggested. What categories do we choose? Well, listen and find out! We also talk about some of the controversy going on at DC right now between Gail Simone being "forced" off of Batgirl as well as Scott Snyder and Yanick Paquette leaving Swamp Thing. Last (technically) but not least, we discuss our favourite books of the week. Included in the mix is: Richard Stark’s Parker (Book One: The Hunter), Red She-Hulk, Avengers #1, Thunderbolts #1 and Emi Lenox's EmiTown.
