We're taking it over to some technical talk on this week's episode of Chasin' Birdies. The Kingdom is owned by Taylormade and is located in Georgia. Sean Cain joins us to talk about what life is like at The Kingdom and who's coming by to get their golf swing ‘tune-up.' Sean tells us a brief overview of how he got into golf. Although he was into racing and racecars early, his great-uncle owned a golf course, and that's how he caught the bug. After playing golf and getting injured, he decided his passion for teaching was right in front of him and explained who he helped with their early golf development. We talk about the youth in golf and what it takes to make it in golf. You either got it or you don't. Sean gives us a look into Taylormade and their R&D on products. Although he doesn't have specific information, he gets a preview every September to see what products will launch the following year. Sean gives us insight into the club fitting setup at The Kingdom. The good part is it's open to the public. He takes us through the whole fitting process at The Kingdom. They use advanced technology to get you fit into the right clubs for you. Listen to this episode, get amped up, and schedule yourself a fitting at The Kingdom. We round out the episode with our standard tap-in segment presented by Bettinardi Golf. Tune in and share! Sean Cain is a self-described “creative person” but you might know him as Blackbeard. Cain visits the show to share just some of the cars you've seen on the track that he designed; the reason behind branding himself as Blackbeard; how he went from industrial design to the race car business; social media being the driving force behind business; how a concept gets off the ground; things Cain has to take into consideration and work around with a design; the nerves going from a render to real life car; trying to have up-to-date templates; how long it takes from concept to completion; how many concepts need to be submitted; if there's any loss over the ones that don't see the light of day; the hardest thing about the job; not getting burnt out and being repetitive; how often Cain gets to see his work at the track; if there are other designs besides race cars; if there is something out there Cain hasn't designed that he'd like to. This is the last "regular" episode of Mail Order Zombie of 2010, and Brother D tackles the holiday season by reviewing two Christmas-themed zombie movies - Silent Night, Zombie Night (dir. Sean Cain) and Santa Claus Versus the Zombies (dir. Gary Bonilla). To not get too ho-ho-ho'ed out, Brother D turns to Need-a-Nickname Scott, who joins him for a review of Death of the Dead (dir. Gary King), and then rocks a solo review of Stag Night of the Dead (dir. Neil Jones). Four zombie movie reviews in one episode? It's a Christmas miracle. And you know who else is a miracle? Miss Bren. She braves the backlog of Feedback in this week's Feedback Discussion. Another miracle?
