John Steinbeck the author of Brainwashing Children who runs a highly successful parental alienation support group on Facebook called the same is a strong advocate in helping alienated parents reunite with their children. His content provides proven methods to slowly repair the damage of the alienated child and restore the bonds that were once there. Links to find out more! FaceBook - [https://www.facebook.com/brainwashingchildren/] YouTube - [Brainwashing Children] Brainwashing Children the Books - [http://www.brainwashingchildren.com/book/] Show Table of Contents Introduction to John 00:53:14 - John Steinbeck from Brainwashing Children joins us to talk about his story and how he persevered through a difficult parental alienation campaign and how he ultimately repaired his relationship with his son and mitigated the attacks. We also discuss the humorous story of how we “met” basically twice through two different avenues without realizing it. John also tells the story of how he became a social influencer and author on parental alienation. How quickly he started seeing results 00:08:10 - John talks about the results he started to see once he changed his approach in dealing with his son and the parental alienation. He also discusses the issues, such as the post visitation shakedown and how that makes it more difficult for our children. He could see a change in his son within the first two months of changing his technique. John also discusses how important self-control, to not “attack the problem”, bite our lip, and concentrate on having a good time with your child. Learning about narcissistic personality traits 00:11:01 - John discusses the importance of learning about narcissistic personality traits and personality disorders to help you understand what you are going through. These parental alienating exes all play from the same playbook and when you understand you can predict what they are going to do. John talks about how when he is talking to someone going through this he can rattle off 90% of the traits that the ex is doing to alienate and corrupt the parent-child relationship. The fatal mix - they want to win 00:14:05 - John talks about the fatal mix where the narcissistic ex has a deep lack of empathy and wants to win at all costs and it doesn’t matter who they hurt in the process. He also talks about the thought process for “their anger” and how even though we are angry, hurt, bitter we do not do the same thing and use our children in the same way. The narcissistic ex is happy when their child is suffering and crying because of the alienation toward the other parent. He also discusses the long term impact to our children when they suffer through parental alienation. Everything “back to normal” with options and opinions 00:17:01 - John speaks about the two year process to get things back to normal with his son and to mitigate the damaged caused by the parental alienation of his mother. It took his son gaining maturity and realizing that when hanging around dad he knew what to expect. John also used O&O which stands for “options and opinion” so his son knew he had input into what they were going to do and he wasn’t being forced to do something that he really did not want to do. The Court System Failed 00:20:15 - John discusses his experience with the family court system. John is a commercial pilot and as a result his schedule is not fixed. He went to the court asking for the “airline pilot possession order” to enable him to see his son when he was off work and it was denied. Even with this setback John was able to persevere and continue to develop and repair the relationship with his son. Water off a ducks back 00:22:33 - John talks about how he approached his situation and after the family court system enabled the continued parental alienation he was able to focus on his relationship with his son. It is important to learn how to “bite your lip” and “pick your battles” when your child parrots what the alienating parent is saying. Stepping Back From the relationship 00:24:12 - John discusses how he took a “break” from his son and by keeping the lines of communication open his son reached out to him. When his son was around 11 or 12 the drama was non-stop and it was effecting all areas of John’s life. During this time they took about a year and a half break from seeing each other. John’s secret was he still called him every few weeks and checked in on him. The key is to not completely withdraw from your children. How visitation ultimately changed 00:28:00 - After taking the break and with his son asking to see him John would let his son know when he was going to be in town. His son would then ask to see his dad and ultimately enabled visitation that he was seeking, and was denied, through the family court system. The key was to communicate directly with his son and allow him to decide when he wanted to see his dad. Turning something good from something awful 00:33:45 - John talks about how this experience has created something very helpful and healing for other people out of this experience. He has shared with his son how every bad experience in his life has led to something good. This also enables you to show them contrast and to be more aware of options and choices in ones own lives. John’s plan going forward 00:37:31 - John discusses his future plans going forward and where he intends to take his platform. He is building his YouTube channel discussing parental alienation. He is also launching his own podcast in the next couple of months called Unbrainwashed. John spends most of his time on his Facebook page because there is where he has the most traction.

"Table Funding" comes in many flavors but all table funded loans, according to Reg Z of the Federal Reserve, are predatory loans per se especially if it was part of a pattern of conduct by the originator. 1. The one addressed by TILA and required disclosures of the identity of the lender (giving the consumer choice over who he/she decides to do business with) has some basics to it. You have a real lender with real money making a real loan. 2. The banks set up what they called warehouse lending in which the originator was borrowing money from the real lender and therefore really was the lender. 3. But in the customary purchase and assumption agreement with the "warehouse lender" it is clear that the so-called "warehouse lender" is the real lender, since it asserted ownership of the loan starting before the closing of the new loan. Join us to learn more about why table-funded loans are predatory and the courts are indifferent.
