Jonah Ray does comedy, music, and talking… SO good. ‘Mystery Science Theatre 3000: The Return’ came on Netflix in 2017, and I’ve been a Jonah-phile ever since. I became an instant fan of SeeSo original ‘Hidden America w Jonah Ray’, CC’s ‘The Meltdown w Jonah & Kumail’ and a fan of nothing more than the podcast Jonah Raydio, where Jonah (a ‘Nerdist’ alumn) along with his friends Cash Hartzell & Neil Mahoney hangout, talk about music and jab each other silly. Through this podcast I discovered Jonah’s musical prowess (oh, a contributor for SPIN! btw) and bought the DOPE A F “You Can’t Call Me Al - EP”, a tribute to his friend and icon Weird Al Yankovic. Have I given the interweb-bots enough career titles? I’d like to highlight here in paragraph 2, that Jonah’s been dropping more mad science internally and physically, than creatively in the last while. We talk about the scope of his career and how he feels about his time in Los Angeles; where everyone for the most part, has seen him through adolescence. He talks about the strides he’s made to improve his health & outlook and about moving forward after years of a latched-on persona. A through-line, is both an appreciation for public creative work and our shared love of putting things together as children, that lead to everything after. This episode features 6 awesome songs, by Jonah Ray, Hop Along, Queen Ansleis & Kali Kazoo… most of which I discovered and fell for while listening to Jonah Raydio. Yes, friend, it’s me, Marc Hershon, your host and freestanding lamppost for Epi149 of Succotash, the Comedy Soundcast Soundcast. Just one more installment before we hit episode 150, which is likely to coincide with our 6th year of quality soundcasting. This is an episode of Succotash Clips, coming at you the way this show started way back when, by featuring a gaggle of comedy soundcast clips. This episode we're featuring clips from Changes In Latitude, Knight & Day, That's Deep Bro, Dumb People Town, The Anti Social Show, The Nerd Blitz, The Story Worthy Podcast, Good One, and the Just In TIme podcast…sort of. Also coming up this show we have a double dose of our Burst O' Durst, featuring political comedian and social commentator Will Durst. And the whole kit n' kaboodle is brought to you this episode by Henderson's Pressure Cooker Pants. REVIEW REVUE Normally I’m begging you to help us to spread the word with a 5-star rating and a short blurb about wonderful the show is and how it made you a better person. But we just got a couple of fresh ones in so I thought I’d give you a break and, instead, thank these folks and let you hear what they had to say, sort of as an example of how easy this process is. The first one is from our old friend Sabrina Miller, host of the Changes In Latitude soundcast. Back when Succotash started in 2011, she was Charley Miller with a show called The Random Variety Show, and he told me that listening to this show was one of the things that got him into becoming a soundcaster himself. Here’s what she had to say after plunking down 5 stars: “Marc, Joe, Kenny and Bill are unsung heroes in the podcast world. If you're not listing to this podcast, then just go home. One of the things I love about this show is that every episode has something familiar (Marc, Bill and Henderson’s Pants) and then has something different (all the comedy clips) I still love this show even after it reached 100 episodes! Keep up the great work Succotash!" We also received this short and sweet tribute from a fun comedy narrative story of a soundcast I’ve mentioned on Splitsider.com before but we’ve not yet featured here on the show called Knight & Day. The producer, Bill Franmeister, gave us 5 stars and wrote “Great podcast from top podders. Keep up the good work!" A UPCOMING LIVE APPEARANCE I’m producing and appearing in a live show on Saturday night, April 1st. It’s the April’s Fools Show at the 142 Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley, California. It’s going to be stand-up, sketch, and improv comedy, along with some spoken word performance and even some fool-based music! We have a great lineup, with Geoff Bolt, Larry “Bubbles” Brown, Al Clethen, Debi Durst, Michael Meehan, Judy Nihei, Michael O’Brien, and Dan Spencer, along with Musical Director Dave Coldren. It all starts at 8 PM and tickets are $15-25 dollars, depending on whether you want reserved seats or not. For more info and details, click on over to http://ThrockmortonTheatre.org THE CLIPS Changes In LatitudesThis is a few minutes from last October, Epi108, which marked Sabrina Miller’s second year with the show. This clip is where Sabrina was talking about having gone back to start listening to her own show from the beginning… Knight & DayI’m not sure if this show by Bill Franmeister even has it’s own homesite. You can find it on iTunes and it links to SoundCloud. And I know its on the Laughable app. The first season is only six episodes, which just wrapped in February. I’m not sure if, or when, Knight & Day will be back. (But thanks for the review, guys!) That’s Deep BroChristina Pazsitsky. If her name is familiar, she’s a comedian and she’s also the wife of another comedian, Tom Segura, and together they host another soundcast called Your Mom’s House. This clip is from That’s Deep Bro Epi106, entitled “Why Do I Keep Doing Things I Hate?” To catch more of That’s Deep Bro, you can find Christina all over the place – the Laughable app, itunes, SoundCloud, GooglePlay and wherever fine soundcasts are streamed and/or downloaded. Dumb People TownThis is one of my favorite new soundcasts. I’ve already reviewed this thing a couple of times for both Splitsider and Huffington Post. It features Jason and Randy Sklar, comedians probably best known in Soundcastland for their Sklarbro Country show. And Daniel Van Kirk, who hosts his own show Hindsight and frequently appears on Doug Loves Movies as Mark Wahlberg. In Dumb People Town, they take one of the oldest tricks in the soundcasting book – reading news articles about assorted weirdos and the situtations they get into – and just riff mercilessly about and around them. Joining them in their 7th episode was Mad Men’s Jon Hamm, who was definitely up for this kind of monkey business. The Anti Social Show Now into their late teen episode, it's just high time we featured a clip from The Anti Social Show, co-hosted by our esteemed Associate Producer Tyson Saner and our Esteemed Listener Hunter Block. You can find The Anti Social Show episodes on SoundCloud. The Nerd BlitzHarvested by Tyson, we have a clip from The Nerd Blitz with Doom and Fitz. If you’re a REALLY regular listener of Succotash, you might remember Fitz as being one-half of the Jump To The End soundcast, which we featured back in Epi71 in 2013. You might remember it…I didn’t. But Tyson DID, which is one of the many reason we keep him around. Their tagline is “Real Nerds Talkin’ Real Nerdy Shit” and the real nerdy shit in this clip is from their Epi20, entitled: Turkey Baster 3-Way, where they discuss The Hobbit and the other Tolkien films while playing Battleship. The Story Worthy PodcastOne of my rules on Succotash is that we feature clips, we don’t play promos. Because any show can play another show’s promos. But we sample and listen and evaluate before we harvest our clips. (Unless you directly upload something to us at http://hightail.com/u/Succotash. Then we’ll pretty much play whatever — clip, promo, randoms note — you give us. And that holds true in this case for an old friend of the show, Christine Blackburn, co-host of the Story Worthy podcast, along with Hannis Phinney. Good One We’ve got a chunk from a new soundcast that’s only been out a few weeks called Good One, in which the host, Jesse David Fox, plays a joke or bit from a comedian, then has the comedian on to deconstruct the bit — where it came from, what it’s about, how it was developed, and why. A recent episode of Good One features Jesse’s visit with Weird Al Yankovic to talk about his song "Word Crimes", a parody of Robin Thicke’s 2013 “Blurred Lines”. In this clip they get into the weeds a bit about the intricacies of doing parody right. Beyond Yacht RockLet me ask you this: If you had an internet show called Yacht Rock and then wanted to expand on that premise, what might you call it. If you answer Beyond Yacht Rock, you’d be right. Subtitled Uncharted Journeys into Arbitrary Genres, it’s hosted by JD Ryznar, David B. Lyons, Hollywood Steve Huey, and Hunter Stair. This clip’s from Epi6 entitled “Divorcecore” from a little over a year ago. Just In TImeTyson discovered that a recent episode of the Just In Time soundcast thanked us for clipping them a few episodes ago. So I thought I’d play it here because I love playing clips from shows wehre they mention Succotash. A LITTLE HELP? If you’d like to help support our humble soundcast, it’s so easy. Get over to our homesite, at http://SuccotashShow.com and, from there, you can click on the Donate button, or use our Amazon banner to do your shopping, or even purch some merch from our Succotashery. I leave it all up to you. Every little bit of money we manage to scrounge up goes to help offset the production costs and maintenance of this show. Speaking of which, that's all she wrote when it comes to Succotash Clips, Epi149. It’s been a pleasure serving you. We hope to see you again and remember, always, to please pass the Succotash. Goodbye. — Marc Hershon

Hello, chum! It is I, Marc Hershon, purveyor of Succotash, the Comedy Podcast Podcast and your ears are hearing Epi 89! (If you’re a subscriber to us via ConnectPal, you’re hearing this two days before anyone else!) If you found Succotash through iTunes, Stitcher, SoundCloud, our Facebook page or any other means, would you do us a favor? Go back and rate us if you can. Five stars on iTunes and a short review. A "thumbs up" on Stitcher. A heart on SoundCloud. Whatever you have access to, it costs you nothing and makes a world of difference to us.  Of course, if you want to contribute more substantially, I invite you to click the Donate button on our http://SuccotashShow.com homesite.  Epi89 features my audio visit with podcaster, raconteur, singer, Ren Faire hanger-on, and bridge hanger-outer Hob The Troll. Although there are millions of trolls on the internet, Hob is the only actual troll-troll that I know of, and how luck are we that he hosts a regular Hobcast? He's had a number of wonderful guest on his show, some in character, some that just ARE characters, including Hal Lublin from The Thrilling Adventure Hour, who has been on our show a couple of times now. SUCCOTASH ZIPPER PULLS ARE HERE! Our newest tchotchke, the Succotash Zipper Pull, is here! If you're like one for FREE, you just need to email your snail mail address to zipper@SuccotashShow.com and we'll mail one out to you. DOUBLE DOSE O' DURST Once again, we've got two of our Burst O' Durst segments from cultural commentating comedian Will Durst this episode, as well as a "classic" Henderson's Pants commercial and a nifty set of clips – most of which were culled this week byour Associate Producer Tyson Saner. THE 10 MOST ACTIVE SHOWS ON THE STITCHER TOP 100 COMEDY PODCAST LIST The idea to focus on the 10 most ACTIVE shows on Stitcher's Top 100 Comedy Podcast List (rather than the Top 10 shows, which rarely ever change…) originally came to us from Ed Wallick, host of the Don't Quit Your Daycastpodcast. Just wanted to mention that because Ed let us know that he just bought some new podcasting equipment and used our Amazon banner at the top of the SuccotashShow.com website to get to that fabulous online everything store. The Comedy Club focuses on Cobb's Comedy Club, from its inception in the Marina District through it's relocation and subsequent fire in the Cannery to its present location downtown. The comedians who have crossed the Cobb's stage range from the legendary to the obscure, and it's a story that's been lovingly told by filmmaker David Schendel. The film's almost all done except for final processing bits n' pieces. Check out the trailer and maybe even get your name in the credits at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-comedy-club.    THE CLIPS Chillpak Hollywood HourWe usually feature a snippet from this show each week that has Chillpak Hollywood hosts Dean Haglund and Phil Leirness mentioned Succotash. But the boys have been busy and that means pre-recorded shows with guests and not much mention of us. (Although they did tag us at the very end of the most recent show - thanks, guys!) So I figured this was a good opportunity to play a straight-up clip of this excellent show. It's a story of Dean's early days in Hollywood, and who he found when he went star-spotting at the once-popular Sky Bar. The Wolf DenThis show from the Earwolf Network, subtitled “The Business and Future of Podcasting”, is hosted by the network's co-founder Jeff Ulrich. It was just announced this past week that Mr. Ulrich is stepping down as CEO of Earwolf and also The Midroll, which is his podcast advertising agency. In an open letter to the Internet, he let everyone know that he’s taking a bit of a hiatus from showbiz, spending time with his family and figuring out his next steps in life. (I'm assuming The Wolf Den is either going away or maybe transitioning to a new host…) We feature a slice of Jeff’s chat with guest and fellow podcasting magnate Chris Hardwick from The Nerdist Network. The Smartest Man In The WorldI just did a review of Greg Proops’ The Smartest Man in the World for Splitsider and Huffington Post. And I realized it’s been a while since I clipped that show, which is a great example of – as I say in the review – a Master of the Spew. Someone who can keep up a steady stream of entertaining solo monologue. There are podcasters like Bill Burr and Larry Miller and Marc Maron who are certainly Spew Masters but Greg is one of the only guys who really only does it in front of a live audience as opposed to in a studio or an apartment or whatever. He was recently over in Wales, at the literary Hay Festival in the town of Hay and I pulled a slice of him getting into a riff around one of Wales’ favorite sons… Dining with Doug & KarenDoug Benson is, perhaps, most famous for his Doug Loves Movies podcast but he’s funny at so much else, including his Benson Interruptions and his Getting Doug With High YouTube show. With all that pot smoking that DB does though, comes a powerful need to feed. I’m not sure if that was the inspiration for Dining with Doug and Karen, featuring Mr. Benson and Karen Anderson but, high or not, you'll enjoy them along with guest Greg Behrendt as they all eat “Belly Bombz Asian fusion wings". Norm MacDonald LiveThere have only been about 15 episodes of Norm MacDonald Live, with comedian Norm MacDonald and co-host Adam Eget, and it’s actually a VIDEOcast from The Video Podcast Network, which is probably why it wasn’t exactly on my radar until now. (The 'sodes are later released as audiocasts via iTunes.) We're featuring a clip from a recent outing in which Norm was lucky enough to corral comic great Carl Reiner on the show. TANcastThe TANcast is a show I’ve seen tweets about but never listened to but then was inspired to when I saw some fun Photoshoppery by Tim Babb, one of the three hosts. He’s also a standup comedian, whereas his two buddies, Adam and Noah — T, A & N. TAN. TANcast, get it? — are not comics. But they were all roommates at one time and now, even though they are separated by distance, technology brings them together every week. This clip is from one of their regular features, TANLaughs, in which they read jokes sent in by their listeners. Sometimes really bad jokes. There's Epi89 in a nutshell. Or a blog, rather. Hope you enjoy listening. If you do (or if you don't), or if you'd like to tell me about a comedy podcast worth clipping that we haven't featuring on Succotash yet, drop me a line at marc@SuccotashShow.com OR call into the Succotash Hotline at (818) 921-7212 (also uptuyu on Skype…) and leave a message that we'll feature on the show. Welcome to Epi60 of Succotash, the Comedy Podcast Podcast! I feel like celebrating every ten episodes we get further down the podcasting road. And I hope you're enjoying listening as much as I enjoy putting this thing together. While we're got a few comedy podcast episodes to share this week, the bulk of Epi60 is given over to an interview I did recently with Marc Price. Yes, THAT Marc Price. Stand-up comedian since he was 14, an actor, a producer, and still most often recognized for the seven years that he appeared as Irwin "Skippy" Handleman on NBC’s Family Ties. Marc was passing through my hometown of Mill Valley a couple of weeks ago and played a Tuesday night at the 142 Throckmorton Theatre as part of the Mark Pitta & Friends show. I hadn’t seen him in quite some time so I was able to not only cajole him into sitting down and catching up, but doing so in front of our microphones. He's had a number of TV, movie and web opportunities over the years but, in hearing him tell his tale, the success brought into his life by Family Ties starting at the young age of 14 overshadowed a lot of other efforts. Mark Price with Michael J. Fox He was on a bit of a soul-searching trip along the West Coast, driving from gig to gig to get away from some hassles at home which he delves into during our chat. THE 10 MOST ACTIVE IN THE STITCHER TOP 100 COMEDY PODCAST LIST I didn’t do The 10 Most Active in the Stitcher Top 100 Comedy Podcast List last show, Epi59.5, because it was a special shortened show, but things have continued to slide around on that list without us so let’s take a look… 28. Friday Night Comedy from BBC Radio +737. The Champs with Neal Brennan & Moshe Kasher +2744. Sklarbro Country -1251. The Comedy Mixtape +2552. Off The air with Chick McGee +1453 The Bone Zone +979. Improv4Humans with Matt Besser +1881. SModcast FeAB -3082. Mike & Tom Eat Snacks +71 (Reviewed them last week!)98. The Tenderloins Podcast +26 BURST O' DURST  In this week's installment, Raging Moderate Will Durst looks at The Tangle Tango, in which our intrepid correspondent tries desperately to extricate himself from the sticky embrace of two of America’s least favorite organizations. (Also: If you're going to be in the San Francisco area, be sure to catch Will's new one-man show BoomeRaging: From LSD to OMG, Tuesday nights through June 25th at the Marsh Theater.) THE CLIPS Here's The ThingNow that 30 Rock has finished, I guess Alec Baldwin’s podcast, Here’s The Thing, is all he has left. That, and Capital One commercials. His guest is veteran actor Stacy Keach and we've clipped a bit where he talks about taking on Shakespeare’s role of Falstaff when he was only about 30 years old, and the craziness of trying to star in a movie while commuting to Central Park at the same time. (BTW, I’m reviewing this particular episode for This Week In Comedy Podcasts on Splitsider.com!) Defective GeeksI saw the hosts of Defective Geeks, Gizzy and the Space Pirate Queen, a few months ago in LA at a show that Chris Gore from PodCRASH was having at IO West. Their podcast is a little unusual in that it features them: two LADY nerds who aren’t afraid to show it let their geek flag fly. In recent Epi118, they welcome the creator of web series Super Knocked Up, Jeff Burns, along with actors Jourdan Gibson (Darkstar) and Mark Pezzula (Captain Amazing). The series features the domestic disaster of what happens when a super hero and a super villainess hook up and he gets her pregnant. Aloe CourtHere's the story of this podcast. Once upon a time, it started out as Cinematic Method, a show where the hosts reviewed movie trailers. That's right. Not whole movies, just the previews. They then guessed how well the movie would do over on the Rotten Tomatoes website.  But three of the guys - Kyle Coleman, Chris Russell, and Gerry Carey - decided to switch formats, focus on the funny, and do away (for the most part) with the movie talk. Does it work? Have a listen… And that's pretty much the story for Epi60 of Succotash, the Comedy Podcast Podcast. Bill Haywatt, our booth announcer, is on vacation this week, which means I had to do the Henderson's Pants commercial myself. But our esteemed collegue returns next episode for another installment of Boozin' With Bill. Until then, please pass the Succotash! — Marc Hershon

This is the two-year-iversary month for Succotash! Two whole years. I didn't know it would last this long but then, I didn't know that it wouldn't last this long. If you've been listening the whole time I can't thank you enough. And if you've picked us up somewhere along the way, I thank you as well. Epi55 is not a big clip show - we've only got four snippets from comedy podcasts - but that's because the majority of the show is my interview with the poster boy for alt comedy Andy Kindler. I would have really enjoyed settling in for a quiet, contemplative, in-depth one-on-one with Andy, but podcasters can't be choosers. Instead, I got a rollicking chatfest over a late night meal at D'Angelo's Italian restaurant, the usual hang for comedians following the Mark Pitta & Friends show at the 142 Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley, California. And it wasn't just Andy and me. We were joined by Mark Pitta, Larry "Bubbles" Brown, and Bob Rubin, all of whom would randomly come and go at our table, cracking wise and telling stories as the occasion warranted. In between, Andy answered a few of my questions, none of which really got into his background so if you're unfamiliar with Andy or why he's regarded so highly among comedians, you may not understand why the flock of comics around our table were drawn there like moths to a flame. We do get into some of Andy's thinking about comedy itself and a bit of his history. So it's safe to say there's something for everyone in here. THE SORT-OF-COUNTDOWN Having abandoned my countdown of Stitcher's Top 10 Comedy Podcasts because the top shows rarely change position, here's this week's The 10 Most Active in the Stitcher Top 100 Comedy Podcast List*: 10. By The Way: In Conversation with Jeff Garlin +5429. Sklarbro Country +1748. The Paul F. Tompkast +6353. The Phil Hendrie Podcast +1958. The Tenderloins Podcast +8680. The Ricky Gervais Show +3081. Dennis Has A Podcast -2695. Frangela’s Idiot Of The Week +3996. NewsPop Comedy +32100. Work Sucks +30  *The number on the left is the show's ranking in the Top 100. The number on the right are the number of places, up or down, the show moved this last week in ALL of Stitcher's rankings for comedy podcasts. KICKSTARTING A new campaign over on Kickstarter.com that caught my eye is That's Not Funny, a documentary by filmmaker Mike Celestino. He's talked to some comedians (and wants to talk to a lot more) about subject matter in comedy that rubs some people the wrong way, and why. Succotash kicked him 50 bucks but he's trying to raise $50 THOUSAND to complete the project. (He's already got interviews in the can with funny folks such as Emery Emery, Jackie Kashian, Kyle Kinane, Greg Proops, and Paul Provenza. As of this posting, he's got 30+ days to go but that's going to run out quick. I'll have him on for a quick chat about the film in Epi56 but, in the meantime, click the link or hop over to http://hersh.co/16ntubA and see if you can't help him out. BURST O' DURST Our regular check-in by Will Durst has our favorite raging moderate peering over at the US Supreme Court's reason tussle over the marriage equality issue. CLIPS The Rob & Joe ShowWe've featured snippet from Rob Maher & Joe Robinson's podcast before. This time it's an indelicate peek into Joe's sexual past. It's not exactly tasteful but, if you're looking for that, there's still terrestrial radio out there for you… The Random Variety Show PodcastAnother return visitor this episode is Charley Miller and his Random Variety Show. The chunk Charley sent us is a story he created with the help of sentences sent in by listeners.(BTW, I'm slated to be a guest on the RVS podcast sometime this month - I'll give you a heads up and a link when it happens!) Todd N’ Tyler Radio EmpireThe Todd N’ Tyler Radio Empire has been cranking on air since 1993 out of KEZO in Omaha, Nebraska. They’re syndicated on a number of stations, on the internet and their show has – as so many other radio shows have – become podcastted. Even with all that coverage, I am embarrassed to say I have never heard of Todd Brandt and Mike Tyler until I read last episode’s The 10 Most Active in the Stitcher Top 100 Comedy Podcast List. That’s when T-N-T rocketed into the Top 100, landing at #73 and climbing an incredible 306 places in one week. So I just HAD to clip 'em… The Q ShowMark Bland sent us a sample of The Q Show which originates from St. Louis, Missouri. The description off the homesite tells us that the show is about "everything and is liberal/moderate radio for people with a brain!" Check out our sample tidbit and see if you qualify. That's what we've got for you this time around. I'm off on a road trip this week with Dana Carvey and Larry "Bubbles" Brown, during which time we are going to attempt to record enough material for one and maybe even two upcoming episodes. THAT should make it worth passing the Succotash, right? — Marc Hershon

Matt Ryan and The Sklar Brothers Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan phones into "The Rich Eisen Podcast" to chat with Rich about Atlanta's hot start and being undefeated a quarter of the way through the season.  "Matty Ice" discusses the 95-yard drive he led his team on with less than a minute to go to beat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday and what a win like that does for Atlanta's confidence moving forward. Ryan also talks about the difficult task Drew Brees is facing in New Orleans as a quarterback who is without his play caller and coach. Plus, Rich discusses the aforementioned "Matty Ice" nickname with Ryan and proposes a better name for the Falcons signal caller to go by. Up next, Rich welcomes in studio the hilarious Randy and Jason Sklar.  The Sklar Brothers, who also host their own podcast titled "Sklarbro Country," share their takes on the NFL season and how things are shaping up as we hit the quarter point of the 2012 season.  It's an extremely entertaining and funny listen that includes a story of the brothers being booed while throwing out the first pitch at an Indians game, and then calling out said heckler after at the stadium.   Enjoy, and as always, thanks for downloading! We're back in Studio P in Sausalito for Epi27, which means the show always sounds better and I certainly feel better when engineer/producer Joe Paulino is pushing the buttons and flipping the switches. PLUS it gives us the chance for another Boozin' With Bill segment, where our loyal booth announcer Bill Haywatt shares a libation with us that he picked up somewhere during his illustrious (some might say spotty) career in radio.  Unfortunately, Bill's drink this time – Barbecue Punch – turns out to be a dreadful cautionary tale. I'm reproducing the formula here but be warned: This drink is not for the timid, smart or sane. Hideous beverage aside, it's a fast-paced episode, with a bunch of clips, a dip into the TweetSack, our Burst O' Durst, and a brand new Henderson's Pants spot for their newest line, The Drifter Chino. Musically, I found a fun little ditty called Incompetent's Lament by Paul & Storm, a duo that has cranked out a lot of comedy tunes, much of which is available via their website. They also have their own podcast, Paul and Storm Talk About Some Stuff for Five to Ten Minutes (On Average), so click over and give 'em a listen. Here's what's in the lineup this time: Comedy Bang Bang This is the week that CBB host Scott Aukerman brings his podcast to television. (Starts Friday, June 8, on IFC.) Our cut is from a recent audio version of the show, featuring comedian guests Sara Silverman and Kyle Dunnigan, who spend some time dissecting one of Sarah’s first TV roles – playing a scientist on Star Trek Voyager. The Gentleman’s Club Comic Caleb Bacon runs The Gentleman’s Club: Part comedy, part sports, part strippers and strippers’ parts. In this clip, Caleb’s talking to a “Vegas insider”, Rodric Bradford, about something everyone going to Sin City is looking for – indoor skydiving. How Was Your Week? Julie Klausner with Eddie Pepitone Comedy writer/performer, podcaster, and author Julie Klausner hosts How Was Your Week, which was recently named one of the best comedy podcasts by the New York Times, Rolling Stone & GQ. In the clip we have, she gets into the touchy subject of panic attacks with the Bitter Buddha himself, Eddie Pepitone. Too Heavy To Skydive THTS is a big ol’ roundtable chat show with a great title. Hosts Matt, Alex, Erik, Fred, Neil, and Tim talk about news, sports, pop culture, movies, and…porn. But at least it's tasteful, sharing AND ecological porn. Check out their many segments, contributors and other stuff. Murphy’s Law & The Mercenaries Shane Murphy, Neil Mercener and Geoff Jewel host one of podcasting's “shootin’ the shit” show – a bunch of guys sitting around and talking about whatever’s going on. Nothing wrong with that, and it's nice to see these guys have differences of opinion about some of the subjects they talk about. Mustache Rangers Podcasts don't have to be long to be funny and entertaining. A number of the shows I don't pick clips from could take that lesson from The Mustache Rangers. The improvised episodes are short and clever, as performed by Corey Anderson and Aric McKeown. Local favorites of the Twin Cities, the show was named Best Podcast of 2011 by Mpls St Paul magazine. Note: They have a live version of The Mustache Rangers coming up on June 21st at the Twin Cities Improv Festival. Nobody Likes Onions Patrick Melton with Ryan Stout Comedian and podcast pioneer Patrick Melton has one of the longest running podcasts around. Nobody Likes Onions started back in 2005. For his seventh anniversary, he has comedian Ryan Stout in the studio where, in this clip, Patrick reveals that he used to steal vans and sell waffles out of them. Hey, me too! Sklarbro County As brother Randy & Jason Sklar near Episode 100 of their popular podcast Sklarbro Country, their listeners are clamoring for more than one show a week. Here's their answer: Take the "r" out of Country. Shorter, easier to produce, with more timely, time-sensitive sports stories. We wrap up Epi27 with a Burst O’ Durst, in which our Ambassador to the Middle, political wit Will Durst talks about Mitt Romney’s lack of discernible position on…anything. — Marc Hershon

The Sklar Brothers are the only twin comedy team I can think of outside of Cheng & Eng or the Sagal sisters. They hosted "Cheap Seats," wrote/produced/starred in "Back on Topps" (a phenomenal web series) and are currently making podcasts under the "Sklarbro Country" name. Nice guys who are hilarious. WHAT MORE DO YOU VULTURES WANT???!! Oh. Apologies. There was no need for me to yell at you and I'm sorry. But sometimes you just make me so MAD, Baby...What? Ok. FINE. Go to your mother's. Like she needs more ammo against me. REAL mature, Karen! I CAN SLAM DOORS TOO, YA KNOW!
