Denn immer von 10 bis 14 Uhr können Interessierte die einzigartige Fahrzeugsammlung auf dem Gelände von Toyota Deutschland in Köln besuchen. Und das absolut kostenfrei und im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Fahrzeugausstellungen heißt es hier: „Einsteigen erlaubt!“.Toyota Mirai / Foto: Toyota Deutschland GmbH Abwechselnde Schwerpunkt- und Motto-Tage sorgen für Abwechslung. Am kommenden Samstag, 4. Februar, heißt es: Bühne frei für eine neue Ausgabe des beliebten Technik-Tags. Im Mittelpunkt des Public Openings steht diesmal der Multi-Technologieansatz, mit dem Toyota auf dem Weg in eine emissionsfreie Mobilität für alle ist. Neben einer Elektrifizierung der breiten Modellpalette, die Hybrid-, Plug-in-Hybrid-, Elektro- und Brennstoffzellenfahrzeuge umfasst, bietet Toyota auch Benzin- und Diesel-Modelle an und arbeitet an alternativen Kraftstoffen. Wer wissen will, welche umweltfreundliche Antriebsart am besten zum persönlichen Nutzungsverhalten passt, erfährt alle Einzelheiten in einem der beiden Experten-Vorträge um 11.00 Uhr oder um 12.30 Uhr. Als klein kann man ihn nicht gerade bezeichnen, den Highlander. Wobei Sie natürlich richtig vermuten, dass wir von einem Auto sprechen. Dem Toyota Highlander. Aber zu diesem Namen gibt es auch jede Menge Assoziationen, die sich geradezu aufdrängen!Darum geht es diesmal!Es ist das Hochland von Schottland und gleichzeitig das nordwestlichste Gebiet Schottlands und trägt den Namen „Die Highlands!“ Weltberühmt wurden sie durch ihre Clans, die Whisky-Produktion und Loch Ness. Und im Jahr 1986 kam der Film „Highlander – Es kann nur einen geben“ in die Kinos. Der Highlander aus dem Film gehörte zum Clan der MacLeod, der Highlander, von dem WIR heute sprechen, gehört zum Toyota Clan! Das Outfit!Optisch passt der Toyota Highlander perfekt ins schottische Hochland, der Wagen ist ein groß gewachsener SUV der gehobenen Mittelklasse mit Platz für bis zu sieben Passagiere. In den USA ist er schon seit mehreren Generationen eine feste Größe, bei uns ist er im Frühjahr 2021 angekommen. Power und Drive! Dass der Toyota Highlander mit einem Hybridantrieb geliefert wird, konnte man erwarten, schließlich ist Toyota Hybrid-Pionier! Eine Kombination aus einem 2,5-Liter-Benziner und je einem Elektromotor an Vorder- und Hinterachse entwickelt eine Systemleistung von 179 kW/248 PS. 140 kW (190 PS) davon liefert der 2,5-l-Benziner, dazu steuert der Elektromotor vorne 134 kW (182 PS) bei, der Elektromotor hinten 40 kW (54 PS). Der Normverbrauch liegt bei 5,1 bis 5,5 Litern je 100 Kilometer, was CO2-Emissionen von 116 bis 124 g/km entspricht. Das stufenlose Automatikgetriebe und ein intelligenter Allradantrieb erhöhen Fahrkomfort und Fahrsicherheit. Die Innenausstattung!Schon die Business Edition als Einstiegsversion wartet mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten auf: Neben beheizbaren und elektrisch verstellbaren Vordersitzen gehören unter anderem das beheizbare Lederlenkrad, Parabol-LED-Scheinwerfer mit Fernlichtautomatik, eine Rückfahrkamera, ein Infotainment-System mit Acht-Zoll-Display und Smartphone-Integration per Apple CarPlay und Android Auto sowie eine kabellose Ladeschale für Smartphones zur Serienausstattung.
