Mit seinem sportlich-eleganten Design, dem modernem Plug-in-Hybridantrieb, dem serienmäßigem Allradsystem und umfangreicher Ausstattung ist der neue Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Plug-in Hybrid ein Pfund, mit dem die deutschen Mitsubishi Händlern wuchern können, wie es das Sprichwort sagt.  Und mit einem Plug-in-Hybriden können Sie sich auch langsam auf das Zeitalter der reinen Elektroautos vorbereiten. Der Eclipse Cross Plug-in Hybrid bietet immerhin schon rund 61 Kilometer rein elektrische Reichweite. Darum geht es diesmal!Eleganz trifft Hybrid. So steht es als Titel auf der Pressemappe zum Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Plug-in Hybrid und dem muss man eigentlich nichts mehr hinzufügen. Denn der Eclipse Cross Plug-in Hybrid bringt ein sportlich-elegantes Design auf der einen und einen modernen Plug-in-Hybridantrieb auf der anderen Seite mit und untermauert damit die Führungsrolle von Mitsubishi auf dem Gebiet der Elektrifizierung. Power und Drive!    Mit dem größeren Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid verbindet den Eclipse Cross Plug-in Hybrid das bewährte Antriebssystem. Es kombiniert zwei Elektromotoren mit einem effizienten Benzinmotor – so werden die Vorteile eines Elektroantriebs mit den Praxis- und Langstreckenvorteilen eines klassischen Verbrenners kombiniert. Die so genannte Systemleistung liegt bei 138 kW (188 PS), sie setzt sich aus den 72 kW (98 PS) des 2,4-Liter-DOHC-Benzinmotors und den beiden Elektromotoren zusammen. Dabei handelt es sich um einen 60 kW (82 PS) starken Elektromotor an der Vorderachse und einen 70 kW (95 PS) starken Elektromotor im Heck.Ein kräftiger Tritt auf das Gaspedal beschleunigt den Eclipse Cross Plug-in Hybrid in 10,9 Sekunden von null auf 100 km/h. Die Höchstgeschwindigkeit erreicht er bei 162 km/h, im rein elektrischen Fahrmodus sind maximal 135 km/h möglich.  Der kombinierte Verbrauch setzt sich aus 1,7 Liter Kraftstoff sowie 19,3 kWh Strom je 100 Kilometer zusammen, das entspricht einem CO2-Ausstoß von 39 g/km.  Die Kosten!Für den Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Plug-in Hybrid verbindliche Endpreise zu nennen, ist aktuell schwierig. Denn es gibt zum einen den regulären Händlerpreis, zum Zweiten den Mitsubishi Elektromobilitätsbonus von 4.500, -- Euro und zum Dritten die staatliche Innovationsprämie - ebenfalls in Höhe von 4.500, -- Euro. Letztere ist aber bis zum 31.12.2022 befristet und wird erst NACH der Zulassung gezahlt. Hier heißt es also schnell sein. Mitsubishi ist aber aktuell in der Lage, den Wagen kurzfristig zu liefern, so dass man von dem Grundpreis von 40.590, -- Euro eben 9.000, -- Euro abziehen kann. El IIHS estrena crash test y solo 1 de 20 SUV consigue aprobar con nota alta. ¿Qué es el IIHS? ¿Es el Euro NCAP americano? El IIHS es una organización científica independiente, sin ánimo de lucro dedicada a reducir los fallecidos en accidentes de tráfico en los Estados Unidos. ¿Cómo es el ensayo de impacto lateral que hacen ahora? El anterior impacto lateral que arrancó en 2003 era con un carro de 1.497 Kg a 50 Km/h. El actual impacto lateral con un carro de 1.896 Kg a una velocidad de 60 Km/h. el carro tiene un diseño y altura del frontal que simulan a un SUV o Pick-up americano. EuroNCAP lleva haciendo impactos laterales desde 1997 y en 2020 se endurecen estos ensayos pasa de impactar a 50 km/h un carro de 1300 kg a impactar lateralmente a 60 Km/h un carro de una masa de 1400 kg. La energía del impacto aumenta el 55 %. El impacto lateral americano llega un año y pico más tarde y es más severo, pero representa la realidad americana, no la realidad europea. Aquí los coches son algo más bajos y más ligeros. Han inaugurado esta nueva prueba y los resultados son un desastre, son datos para que los fabricantes de coches mejoren sus vehículos. Solo el Mazda CX-5 ha conseguido la máxima puntuación de Bueno, la de color verde. Por detrás estarían 9 coches calificados con la nota mínima para aprobar de Acceptable, amarillo: Audi Q3, Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester, Toyota RAV4, Volvo XC40, Nissan Rogue, Buick Encore, Chevrolet Trax y Toyota Venza. Ya en entre los suspensos nos encontramos 8 coches con la calificación de Marginal o baja, anaranjada: Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass, Jeep Renegade, Kia Sportage, Chevrolet Equinox, Ford Escape, GMC Terrain y Lincoln Corsair. I know I say it all the time but the only thing that's hard about podcasting is that I don't get to interact with you WHILE you're listening to see what you think or how the show lands, so when you take the time to send messages separately it really makes my day. As for our guest, as you all know I've zipping around in the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross aka the yay-mobile to bring you some incredible stories from yayborhood heroes and we have another fascinating guest today here to share bit more about one of Mitsubishi's partnerships that makes me so proud to have them as one of our partners. Mitsubishi renewed its partnership with Disaster Relief Australia earlier this year providing SUV and all-terrain vehicles to help DRA in its mission to provide rapid disaster response in the wake of natural disasters. You may have seen some of DRA's work during the catastrophic bushfires last year during which the Mitsubishi fleet helped deploy volunteers to five operations across three states. And today we're joined by the National Director of Field Operations, Tom Howell to tell us a bit more about it, along with his own fascinating story. Tom served in the Australian Army as a company medic with operational experience in the middle east, predominantly Afghanistan. Back in your ears again, beautiful people, how time is flying by! It's been another crazy week of a crazy year and in amongst the madness, the yayborhood has truly kept me going. Mitsubishi renewed its partnership with Disaster Relief Australia earlier this year providing SUV and all-terrain vehicles to help DRA in its mission to provide rapid disaster response in the wake of natural disasters.You may have seen some of DRA's work during the catastrophic bushfires last year during which the Mitsubishi fleet helped deploy volunteers to five operations across three states. And today we're joined by the National Director of Field Operations, Tom Howell to tell us a bit more about it, along with his own fascinating story. Auf die Plätze, fertig, laden! Die Rede ist natürlich nicht vom Kofferraum, sondern von der Batterie, im heutigen Fall von der des Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Plug in Hybrid. Plug in Hybriden sind schon deshalb interessante Fahrzeuge, weil man kürzere Strecken, in unserem Fall bis 61 Kilometer nach NEFZ, rein elektrisch fahren kann, ohne die Sorge zu haben, dass man irgendwann mit leerer Batterie liegen bleibt. Denn dann springt der Verbrenner ein! Darum geht es diesmal!Manchmal sind Überschriften in Pressemappen zutreffend. So wie beim Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Plug-in Hybrid. Da ist „Eleganz trifft Hybrid“ zu lesen und das hat durchaus seine Berechtigung. Mit diesem Eclipse Cross Plug-in Hybrid bringt Mitsubishi, nach dem Outlander Plug-in Hybrid, das zweite Modell des japanischen Automobilherstellers mit diesem Antrieb an den Start. und untermauert damit die Führungsrolle von Mitsubishi auf dem Gebiet der Elektrifizierung. Power und Drive!    Das Antriebsaggregat des Eclipse Cross Plug-in Hybrid ist bereits aus dem größeren Outlander Plug-in Hybrid bekannt. Zwei Elektromotoren und ein effizienter Benzinmotor verbinden den Komfort und das direkte Ansprechverhalten eines reinen Elektroantriebs auf der einen Seite mit den Praxis- und Langstreckenvorteilen eines klassischen Verbrenners auf der anderen Seite. Die Systemleistung von 138 kW (188 PS) wird aus einem 2,4-Liter-DOHC-Benzinmotor mit einer Leistung von 72 kW (98 PS) und zwei Elektromotoren mit 60 kW (82 PS) und 70 kW (95 PS) erzielt. Gemeinsam beschleunigen sie den Eclipse Cross Plug-in Hybrid in 10,9 Sekunden von null auf 100 km/h und auf eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 162 km/h. Im rein elektrischen Fahrmodus sind maximal 135 km/h möglich. Der kombinierte NEFZ-Verbrauch beträgt 1,7 Liter Kraftstoff plus 19,3 kWh Strom je 100 Kilometer, was einem CO2-Ausstoß von 39 g/km entspricht.Die Hybridbatterie kann übrigens an geeigneten Schnellladesäulen innerhalb von nur 25 Minuten auf 80 Prozent ihrer Kapazität geladen werden. An einer Wallbox oder öffentlichen Ladestation ist der Akku bereits nach rund vier Stunden wieder zu 100 Prozent voll, an haushaltsüblichen 230V-Steckdosen dauert das Nachladen rund sechs Stunden. Die Kosten!Der Blick in die Preisliste zeigt: Ab 39.890, -- Euro geht es beim Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Plug in Hybrid los. Das geht dann hoch bis auf 47.590, -- Euro. Unser Testkandidat war ein Intro Edition für 45.390, -- Euro. Im realen Kauf kann man allerdings aktuell aufgrund der staatlichen Innovationsprämie und des Mitsubishi Elektromobilitätsbonus jeweils 4.500,-- Euro abziehen, so dass man in der Summe satte 9.000, -- Euro sparen kann. Wer ihn als Lückenbüßer bezeichnen würde, täte ihm Unrecht. Zwar soll der Eclipse Cross bei Mitsubishi die Lücke zwischen dem Kompakt-SUV ASX und dem Familien-SUV Outlander schließen, dennoch ist er ein eigenständiges Fahrzeug mit Emotionalität, Individualität und Fahrspaß. Wir haben ihn mal näher angeschaut!Darum geht es diesmal!Wer sich bei Mitsubishi auskennt, der weiß, dass es mal einen Eclipse gab, der mit dem heutigen Eclipse Cross absolut nichts zu tun hat. Ich habe mal einen Selbstversuch bei Google gemacht und den Begriff Mitsubishi Eclipse eingeben. In der Ergebnisliste oben steht nur der Eclipse Cross, erst nach längerem Scrolen entdeckt man das Coupé aus den 1990er Jahren. Das ist dann eine geringfügige Gemeinsamkeit, denn der Eclipse Cross versteht sich als Coupé-SUV. Und natürlich ist der Familienname identisch! Power und Drive!    Antriebsseitig hat man die Wahl zwischen einem Benziner und einem Diesel, einem Sechs-Gang-Schaltgetriebe, einem CVT- und einem konventionellen Automatikgetriebe und zwischen Front- und Allradantrieb, wobei nicht alles kombinierbar ist. Wir waren mit dem 1,5-Liter-Turbo-Benzinmotor mit 120 kW (163 PS), CVT und Allradantrieb unterwegs. Die „normale“ Automatik ist dem Dieselmotor vorbehalten. Der 1,5-Liter-Turbo beschleunigt den Eclipse Cross in der Kombination mit CVT und Allradantrieb in 9,8 Sekunden auf Tempo 100, die Höchstgeschwindigkeit liegt bei glatten 200 km/h.  Die Innenausstattung!Die Ausstattungslinien herunterzubeten ist leider nicht machbar, aber zumindest ein paar wichtige Dinge kann ich nennen, die alle Eclipse Cross an Bord haben.  Das sind zum Beispiel: Klimaautomatik, Bluetooth®-Audioschnittstelle sowie Freisprecheinrichtung, ein Infotainment-System mit Smartphone-Anbindung, das Android Auto™ und Apple CarPlay unterstützt, oder auch ein Radio  mit DAB+ Empfang. Zudem gibt es einen  7" Touchscreen, eine USB-Audioschnittstelle und vieles mehr.  Für eine Basisausstattung ist das schon mal nicht schlecht, oder? Die Kosten!Wer an einem Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross interessiert ist und diesen auf der Firmenwebseite konfiguriert, kann mit 20.990,00 Euro für den Eclipse Cross Diamant mit 1.5 Turbo-Benziner, 120 kW (163 PS) und 6-Gang-Schaltgetriebe starten. Am anderen Ende der Preisskala findet sich der Eclipse Cross TOP 2.2 Diesel mit 109 kW (148 PS), Automatik und Allradantrieb für aktuell 37,790 Euro. Für unseren Testkandidaten  Eclipse Cross TOP mit  1.5 Turbo-Benziner 120 kW (163 PS), CVT und Allradantrieb verlangt der Händler derzeit 35.590,-- Euro. Zwar hört man allenthalben, der Diesel sei eigentlich mausetot, aber das scheint nicht der Fall zu sein. Immer wieder gibt es nämlich Autohersteller, die mit neuen Dieselangeboten auf den Markt kommen. Einer dieser Hersteller ist Mitsubishi und der neue Diesel findet sich im Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. Darum geht es diesmal!Seit der Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross auf den Markt gekommen ist, stellte sich die Frage nach einem Dieselantrieb. Die Frage hat Mitsubishi nun beantwortet und erweitert die Antriebspalette für den Eclipse Cross: Das kompakte Coupé-SUV ist jetzt mit kraftvollem Dieselmotor bestellbar, die ersten Fahrzeuge der neuen Dieselvariante sind seit März 2019 im Handel. Das Outfit!Seine aktuelle Optik verdankt der Eclipse Cross der Handschrift des neuen Mitsubishi-Chefdesigners Tsunehiro Kunimoto. Die Zielsetzung ist auf den ersten Blick erkennbar: Ein betont eigenständiger Auftritt, der die dynamisch straffe Linienführung eines Coupés mit der Robustheit eines SUVs vereint, soll dem Eclipse Cross Eigenständigkeit gegenüber dem Mainstream seiner Klasse geben. Power und Drive!    Bei dem Dieselaggregat des Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross handelt es sich um einen 2,2-Liter DI-D mit einer Leistung von 109 kW (148 PS). Er wird serienmäßig mit einem neuen Achtgang-Automatikgetriebe sowie dem Allradsystem „Super All Wheel Control“ ausgerüstet. Das maximale Drehmoment liegt bei 388 Nm bei 2.000 U/min, das verhilft dem Wagen auch zu einer maximalen gebremsten Anhängelast von 2.000 Kilogramm. Tempo 100 erreicht der Eclipse Cross übrigens nach 11,7 Sekunden, die maximale Geschwindigkeit beträgt 193 km/h. Kraftstoffverbrauch und CO2-Emissionen belaufen sich auf 6,9 Liter je 100 Kilometer bzw. 183 g/km. Die Werte wurden entsprechend dem neuem WLTP-Testzyklus ermittelt und auf das bisherige Messverfahren NEFZ umgerechnet. Ein SCR-Abgasreinigungssystem sorgt für die Einhaltung der strengen Abgasnorm Euro 6d-Temp. Die Kosten!Für den Einstieg ins Dieselfahren bietet der Mitsubishihändler den Eclipse Cross PLUS zu einem Listenpreis ab 31.590 Euro an.   Aufgrund einer Sonderaktion ist er aber aktuell bereits ab 28.590,00 Euro zu haben.  Im Preis enthalten sind in jedem Fall schon Multifunktionslederlenkrad, elektrische Parkbremse, Rückfahrkamera, Sitzheizung für die vorderen Sitze, ein Smart-Key-System mit Start-Stopp-Knopf und eine Zwei-Zonen-Klimaautomatik. The Eclipse Cross is the last Mitsubishi to be developed entirely in-house prior to the merger with Nissan, and Sami spends a week behind the wheel to figure out what the new SUV's lasting legacy will be for fans of the brand. Meanwhile, Benjamin has his expectations overturned by the 2018 BMW X2 sport-utility vehicle, while also sampling the similarly surprisingly - although not in a good way - 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV. BMW's newest version of its M5 super-sedan now sports all-wheel drive and an automatic-only transmission. Is it still fun on a race track? Benjamin drives the latest M5 at Estoril to answer that question - and also puts the BMW i3s through an autocross course to determine whether the brand's new and sporty take on its all-electric hatchback makes sense.
